  1. Yes, but even with the "tell" and knowing it's coming, the defenders cant stop it. That's the whole point. WRs do it all the time when they get the match up they want. Alert the QB that they have a single man on them, so let's go. Diggs can line up against these guys and tell them the exact route he's about to run, and they wouldnt be able to stop it. It's a beautiful thing.
  2. One thing to keep in mind is Singletary is in the last year of his contract, so he will likely either 1. walk next year for nothing in return or 2. cost us at least $5M/year to re-sign. Given that, trading him and a pick (even a 2nd, which I dont love) for CMC and a contract extension that gives him 2/$15M, $10M guaranteed... I think I'd rather have CMC than Singletary. Additionally, CMC can tutor Cook like Miller and the young DEs. I know that Cook and Singletary go way back and have been training together for a while, but I dont think Devin really brings all that much vet experience to the table. So if we are going to spend $5M/year on our RB1 the next couple of years, and can choose between CMC and Singletary... I think I lean CMC. Even with the cost of a 2nd (which will be the 63rd pick and pretty much a 3rd).
  3. It's actually a very clear and simple formula. 🤷‍♂️
  4. If it's going to cost a 2nd and player, then I agree, we need to already have contract in place since he cant be a 1 year rental at that price.
  5. Atlanta already got rid of all the rebuild players. Lindstrom isnt going anywhere, especially while on his rookie deal. But sure, I'll give you that one. Start a thread. Moton is a Tackle. No need, and youve been talking about OG. I dont know who Andrew Newell is and neither does Google.
  6. 4th year in a row KC played in Buffalo in 2020 (We played the entire AFCW) Buff played in KC last year (1st place teams within conference) Buff plays at KC this year (1st place teams in conf) Buff plays AT KC next year (We play entire AFCW)
  7. There is logic that makes CMC available for a trade even if you dont believe the teams have talked. HC fired, team going into full rebuild, large non-guaranteed contract. Do the same with OG and let us know who you think is available.
  8. No one is ignoring it. Who, IN REALITY, is the legit OG that is available for trade?
  9. Promote this guy to GM Who ya got?
  10. I think literally everyone here is on that team. But I'm still waiting for someone to name a legit OG that is in a position to be available for a trade like CMC is right now.
  11. Those buses would be an absolute ***** show tho. I'd pay to see it.
  12. Originally drafted up by Jeremy Maclin
  13. I referenced that play as well. It was something right out of Looney Tunes and really sealed his fate for me. Bad showing.
  14. I mean, more often than not, Buffalo weather does suck. I dont remember the announcing crew being harsh on Buffalo about it tho. They mentioned the wind a couple times. Our stadium is windy. Dont be so sensitive.
  15. If you are wasting time on a Bills message board on your work laptop/network then you already messed up.
  16. I love what Ive seen out of Hamlin so far. His tackling technique is nearly perfect, and something that is sorely lacking across the entire NFL.
  17. I agree on the play-calling aspect. We called more outside/off-tackle runs last game and they worked far better than slamming it into the pile in the middle. I'd love to see way more running behind Spencer Brown. And yes, OL can be improved. But again, so could RB. Plus, there arent any good Guards available or I'm sure Beane would be all over it. Gotta work with what is available in reality.
  18. Panthers and Giants have crappy OLs, some would say worse than ours, and CMC and Barkley are still putting up numbers. Yes our OL can be improved, but so can our RBs who have poor instincts, poor vision, and do not find/hit the holes that are there.
  19. I'm sure this was posted elsewhere as well, but... 🤤
  20. Just like the crap about us in on Von Miller before he chose LA. Or the crap about us in on Diggs a year before we finally landed him. Or the crap about us pursuing Sanders before he picked the Saints. Or the crap about us being in on Watt before he held up a Carindals cap and a Bills cap and chose Phoenix. Can you point to any big internet rumors that were actually false? Because so far, they all ended up true. And most ended up happening.
  21. True, good point, but we're talking an "aging" RB here. This line of discussion piqued my interest... Leonard Fournette, after helping carry TB to a SB, got 3/$21M. Melvin Gordon got 1/$2.5 Most big RB contracts are the deals immediately following their rookie deal, and then fall off a cliff for their 3rd contract. With no guaranteed money remaining, Beane could bring him in this year for $600k, then say "How about 2/$15M with $10M guaranteed?" If he doesnt take it, cut him and let him try the market next year. But he might sign it to get that guaranteed money as an aging RB who has been dinged up. The contract is meaningless at this point.
  22. Sure, we could throw out mid-round pick combos all day, and I'm sure some or most of them are being offered and discussed between the teams in question. I'd guess a 3rd and 6th adds up close to a 4th on the point chart. Same thing. I dont think either of us thinks it will be a 1st, or 2 2nds. So we both agree it will be in those mid-round picks.
  23. That exact play is the reason they changed the rules THAT WEEK and arent allowed to do that anymore. But great call digging this up.
  24. And CMC is a guy with a big contract who has been injured lately. The Panthers will want to get out of that contract, but the only way right now is to cut him and let him walk for nothing, or trade him and get SOMETHING in return. A 4th sounds about right.
  25. Ref is a tool. The fact another ref had to "hold him back" from going after Epenesa tells me everything I need to know about this power-tripping little weasel. AJ never touched him. Ref got his feelings hurt by whatever AJ said to him, and tossed him. Pathetic.
