  1. Keenum is only on a 1 year deal, so I could see Darnold here as backup next year. Beane gotta keep that panther pipeline flowing.
  2. Your opinion, my opinion. If I'm him with a bum shoulder, I'm not risking further injury for that team and would be happy to take this time to work out any remaining kinks from his various injuries. If you want to play for an extra $18M, go for it.
  3. It is. Especially to you and I. But he doesnt need it right now, and will be making much more next year either way. I'm all about players getting as much as they can, as quickly as they can. But f%&k the Browns, and Baker is in a position to do just that if presented the opportunity. He really isnt in that tough a spot. He either gets traded and paid to play, or he sits home and enjoys his previously-earned money and stays healthy for a season, and then comes back next year as a free agent making $30M+/year. If he chooses to ever play for the Browns again, that's his choice.
  4. If I'm Baker and the bumbling Browns somehow cant/dont pull off a trade this year, then I am more than happy to sit out, sacrifice the $18M, and be a free agent next year. He's made money, and he'll make plenty of more money. The Browns can get something in return for him, or lose the asset completely.
  5. But you do use Ranch on Wings, which is the biggest southern feature of all. Well, besides kissing siblings.
  6. Former club level STH here as well, and another recommendation for the way to go if you are bringing dad to a game.
  7. It's easier to type than "yous guys"
  8. I would do the EA location (although I know nothing of the North location).
  9. HUGE get for a floundering program. The Longhorn boosters mustve stepped in bigly with NIL deals. I'm actually pretty surprised/baffled by this.
  10. Inigo meant well, but got come facts twisted. It was coke (most common for fentanyl ODs) not pills, and bystanders not first responders. But his point still stands. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/03/11/us/west-point-cadets-fentanyl-overdose.html
  11. ALL NEW LEVELS OF PETTINESS Page 177 of David Pauke’s deposition… related to pouring milk on the carpet under the seating in Mark Lerner’s suite so the suite would smell like sour milk on game day. “I did it because Dan [Snyder] told me to do it.”
  12. I'm fine with waiting a year. My biggest dream is for the Bills to win a Super Bowl, and in the next year's home opener the team comes out in the 90s throwbacks for the banner/ring presentation.
  13. You would pay short term capital gains rate which is just a fancier name for regular income tax rate. The savings is waiting for a year before cashing in.
  14. Agreed. It's really the top 3 I take issue with.
  15. If you think that's bad, check out these hot takes on Best Chips and Best Beers. Very suspect taste out of this crew...
  16. I dont say this as a knock or to bismerch him in any way, but some well-connected, well-sourced folks are saying the scene would indicate OD. From that, I assume it is the now all too common coke/painkillers laced with fentanyl. Fair enough, I'm not trying to rumor monger. Just reacting to info being put out, even when that info is very unofficial.
  17. I dont think that's right. I guess it depends if crypto is treated as cash or like a stock considering you have to sell it to realize any actual value. Stock options arent taxed twice, that is why so many CEOs use them to skirt around paying full income tax. They just take heavy stock options, sell them a year later, and only pay long term gains which is the lowest tax rate. It would make more sense to me if the crypto is not taxed as income when originally paid, and only taxed at sale.
  18. F&$#ing fentanyl strikes again.
  19. Im so glad we have Shaq and Jordan back. They got in his head so bad in 2019 that he took himself out of the game. I think even ended up with a couple of bad penalties.
  20. I wasnt even aware of the college stuff posted in here. But it certainly doesnt help his case. To me, it would be like listening to a Bryan Cox podcast while he was playing. Or Julian Edelman. Or insert your most "hated" player. I just dont like him as a player or the way he plays, and the trash he talks to our guys. I'm sure he's fine on the show and can provide good info on the game, but there's plenty of other content for me to choose from.
  21. Says he got paid on May 2, 2021. Right when BTC was peaking at ~$58,000. And then crashed the next week back to ~$30k. Rough if the timing is accurate, but it did jump up again in November to an all time high in the $60ks, so maybe he sold off then after seeing how the summer went. Or he's still holding for the long haul. I'm sure he's mostly living off endorsement money anyways. Football money is to play/invest/gamble with for some of these guys.
  22. Can't wait to have him doing TNF games. Great hire.
  23. I saw him in the embedded youtube preview and stopped from clicking any further. Someone give us a summary of what Wood said. Please and thanks!
  24. I dont think that either, but we'll see what the NFL does when it's one of their stars being kept off the field.
  25. I'll be surprised if it is more than 4 games. They'll talk some bull#### about already missing an entire year as time-served. I have little to no faith in the NFL as a business to ever do the right thing, unless that right thing also happens to make them the most money.
