  1. They do. They have San Fran's 1st. So hopefully the 49ers put together a halfway decent season and knock the Dolphins out of QB contention.
  2. I was just about to comment on that choice of phrasing. No one in the organization could come up with a more sympathetic way of saying it? They had to use the online troll phrasing? You nailed it. Shows exactly who the Haslams are (in case anyone didnt already know of their scumbaggery).
  3. I mean, not really. He's always been a DE/Rush OLB. Dropping him back into coverage is the more along the idea as dropping Hughes or Mario back into coverage. He's just better at it. He isn't a Linebacker, imo. His responsibilities are those of a DE. Speaking of Hughes, I think he basically fills that exact spot. Just better. (No offense, Jerry)
  4. Not as many as fans with agendas like to believe. Plus, when you balance out cost of living compared to other "low tax" areas, and even factor in other types of taxes, it usually all washes out with minimal difference. I would agree that the weather plays into it some. Even more so than taxes. And its certainly not great that Buffalo gets the worse weather AND perceived higher taxes.
  5. The guy with all the size doesnt tackle them well as it is, so not sure if there is really a benefit there. I wish they held onto Klein as well.
  6. I dont care if Bernard is 5'10" if he is showing instincts and putting himself in position to make plays instead of always being 2 steps behind. Size and speed are nice. But making plays is what really matters.
  7. It's Taron Johnson's birthday too, according to our TBD calendar. Happy 46th BBB! Happy 26th Taron!
  8. I'd say that Belichick going out of his way to heap that amount of praise onto McCorkle means that he actually STINKS.
  9. I voted Yes, because if that is what the Bills decide then I'm fine with. McD, Dorsey, and Beane see him everyday in practice. If they thought there was no need for him to get reps at the risk of injury, then I trust that decision and wouldnt complain or lose any sleep. Fine by me. The only score that matters in the preseason is the number of players that end up on the injury report.
  10. Oh, you were talking about the CBS app? I was talking about picking up CBS on the antenna. It's the worst reception of all the channels we get.
  11. Funny you say that. I've had the same issues picking up the local CBS affiliats over the air in both Buffalo and Atlanta. I thought it was just a coincidence, but now I think it is something they aren't doing correctly. Interesting.
  12. That's why I specified no live streams of out-of-market games. Which is the most important part for us out of towners.
  13. Considering how cheap a digital antenna is, I'm not seeing any value in the inclusion of local market games. Those are the easiest to get. And I can get them right on the CBS and FOX apps too.
  14. https://nflcommunications.com/Pages/National-Football-League-Launches-NFL+.aspx Provided below is a breakdown of the NFL+ and NFL+ Premium products: NFL+ Live local and primetime games on mobile and tablet devices Live out-of-market preseason games across all devices Live game audio (home, away and national calls) for every game of the season NFL library programming on-demand (ad-free) $4.99/month or $39.99/year NFL+ Premium (includes features of product formerly known as NFL Game Pass) All features of NFL+ Full game replays across devices (ad-free) Condensed game replays across devices (ad-free) Coaches Film including All-22 (ad-free) $9.99/month or $79.99/year So still no live-stream of out-of--market games. $40/year gets you live radio, $80/year gets you replays. Looks like I'll still watch at the bar or find a stream online.
  15. Too similar to this for my tastes...
  16. Except Murray will never get to the Super Bowl, never win an MVP, and at least SOME of Cam's teammates liked him.
  17. Kinda, yeah. Couple of things. You are looking at Namath's career totals. Dude played for a long time. So a couple of years on bad teams could go a long way to skew those numbers. Secondly, yeah, it wasnt much of a passing league, and QB passing numbers "sucked" all around compared to what we are used to. Go back and look at the passing stats for the QBs on the top NFL/AFL teams in 1969. Joe Kapp who lead the NFL leading 12-2 Vikings had 19 TDs, 13 INTS Daryle Lamonica of the Raiders had 34 TDs, and 25 INTs Morton/Staubach of the Cowboys had 22 TDs and 17 INTs. Not quite MORE ints than TDs, but the numbers are pretty close. Close enough that a couple of bad years could give you more INTs than TDs. And those were the league's top passers from the very best teams.
  18. Karma being the 3-toothed dancer from Chit Chat?
  19. Jealous that she doesnt need to make her own "RIP Hapless" threads to get attention like some player-named users???
  20. I'll even throw the Colts in there with their basic classics. I still think we're top-3 tho.
  21. Yes, it's looking like our Alt Helmet/Uniform will be the 90s throwbacks. I'm hoping they don't do it this year. Wait until we win the Super Bowl, then at the next home opener when they raise the banner and give out rings, have Josh and the Boys trot out in the 90s throwbacks. Buffalo would implode.
  22. Well yeah, cause our unis are top-3 in the league.
  23. Whatever works for you, but I prefer them a little smaller/fit.
