Outside of DeAndre Hopkins, I cant think of many more Clemson Tigers that had successful careers recently. Tee Higgins might be at the top. Maybe DJ Reader and Dexter Lawrence. But given the level of that program over the last 20 years, you'd think theyd have a lot more. Personally I'm not surprised as I'm not much of a believer/fan of Clemson.

Game week thread - Bills at Falcons MNF

Where'd you end up? -
And in my original post I was referring to the Defense across the entire season. Glad they got a few stops for once. Still dont have the confidence that warrants burning time outs as if we're going to get a stop (we didnt). Defending McDermott and then capping it with that last sentence is hilarious.

The final play to Shakir. Samuel was wide open for easy TD

Still too much scrambling around BS. -

That 3rd down pass was a desperation ball that never should have happened. Thank god Im not a coach... or else we'd lose to the Pats. 3 yards at a time is better than 0 yards at a time. How controversial. Tell me how that's false, "Einstein"... -

Calm down. We all love Josh and know how great he is and wouldnt trade him for anything. That doesnt mean hes always perfect or we arent allowed to discuss mistakes. You guys are so sensitive. -

Yeah, was already corrected on 1st down. Doesnt change much. 2nd down, a 3 yard gain and clock running was still better than what we got. Maybe Cook gets another yard. 3rd down, again, a 3 yard crosser is better than what we got. It would have been 4th and 3, maybe even 4th and 2, and more likely to go for it. ANYTHING would have been better than what he did on 2nd and 3rd down, which was nothing and too much at the same time. -
My god, do you hear that? It’s Gabe Davis’ music!

A bit odd, but not for when he is in hero-ball mode. -

Yep, exactly what I was talking about here. VVVVVV Just needed a 1st down. And it was 2nd down, so really just needed like 5-6 yards. -

2nd game in a row against a Diggs team where Josh tried to do way too much all night and it bit him. Like he's trying to prove to his ex-gf how happy he is now. Frustrating that neither Brady nor McD can get to him and calm him down. -

I wont be looking forward to any game that has McD coaching against Vrabel. -

Then it was the last two. Both times he fled the pocket early, rolled right, STILL held onto it, double juked a DL, got himself painted into a corner, and then chucked it to no one. I know on 2nd down, Cook was free out of the backfield for at least 5 yards. Trying to do too much and score instead of getting 1st downs. -

I dont get what he was thinking on our last drive, when we made it down to the 27 yard line, and he started scrambling early and juking DLs when his check downs were open from the start. It was like he was looking for a 10 point play, or the big hero ball, when we just need to keep moving the ball 3-4 yards at a time and keep the drive alive. It seems like no could, or no one did, tell him that we didnt need to score from the 27 yard line. Just keep moving the ball, take your check downs, keep the clock moving, and run in the game winning TD with under a minute left. Instead we got 3 "hero ball" shots that went no where. -

NOW do you guys see what we meant? Out-coached in every aspect. The lesser talent team was prepared and ready to go. We were asleep and made a ton of mental errors. -
Another McD coached Bills game, another round of texts from friends saying "maybe this game is the wake up call they need to light a fire". We've been saying that since 2021 yall...

No idea what mightve changed, but I'd also say that Spotrac isnt always 100% accurate or up to date, so they may have just been catching up from moves made weeks ago.

Positive direction on the injury front.

Sure, but it's not 17 or the offense that concerns me. I've also never said we'll lose, just that it will be a tough game. -
James Cook AFC Offensive Player of the Month (September 2025)!
DrDawkinstein replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
No one was allowed to make him any offers. He was still under contract with the Bills. If he had access to the open market, he'd be gone or we'd be paying much more. -
3rd round draft pick snap counts
DrDawkinstein replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
It wasnt nearly that many. It was more like 2 drops each his rookie and 2nd year, with one of those memorable drops being during the 2023 Cowboys game, when he already had over 150 yards rushing (1 rushing TD) and 42 yards receiving (with a TD catch as well). But folks only remember the drop that happened late in the game when we were already blowing them out.
