  1. It literally depends on what day you are asking, lol. Ultimately, yes. They all count once the season starts. IR, Suspended, Practice Squad...
  2. Yep. #1 Oliver #2 will likely be Davis after the year he is about to have Tag Knox, pitch it as a 5th year option, and I think he will trust in the Bills enough to know a long term deal is coming. If they can work out a long term deal in the tag window, then even better.
  3. Tag number is under $11M. Kelce, Kittle, etc all top out at $15M. What is surging? IMO, use the tag as the equivalent of a 5th year option and see where the cap goes with the Amazon and Apple money coming in.
  4. Is $6M really a lot in today's NFL? That might get you one replacement starter if we lose someone to injury.
  5. Yeah, I see this as just getting the team under cap and having some emergency money available.
  6. Nah, Not worried and there arent enough cases of him getting hit to make me worry about it.
  7. Why waste that money when we already have Gabe Davis and Dawson Knox on rookie contracts? I get it, Gesicki is a talent. But he isnt a need.
  8. I wonder if Gesicki is doing a Jimmy Graham and pushing to be paid like a WR since he plays more of that role? Probably looking for something closer to $20M/yr than $10M/yr.
  9. There is no rhyme or reason to why a team as poorly managed as the Dolphins does anything. Trying to figure it out is futile. They may have tagged him in order to buy time to work out a long term deal, and then talks have gone south, and Gesicki doesnt like the new offense, so here we are. Or some combo of bullcrap like that going on behind the scenes. It's Miami. All I know is, I love to see it.
  10. I mean, he's a talent but he's pretty much one-dimensional as a WR. And we have plenty of WRs, AND a TE who can be a receiving threat and actually block. I'm glad to see Miami could move him since he has been the toughest player on that team against the Bills, but I'm not excited to get him here.
  11. That, and the NFL/Refs absolutely HATED Cam Newton and allowed defenders to deliver cheap/dirty/illegal hits. They do not have the same attitude towards Josh, who is quickly becoming the NFL's golden boy as he truly is the best story the NFL has going. He is the anti-Watson in every way. The NFL should be doing everything possible to prop Josh up and have him be the guarded centerpiece of the league, in hopes his light outshines all the shadiness of other players' behavior.
  12. In what way(s) do you mean? The tag number on TEs is remarkably low. Like less than $11M. It would effectively be like a 5th year option to tag him while we sign Ed to a big contract.
  13. The Bosa one was one I had in mind. Other than that, I aint worried, and even that was flukey. He takes equally or even more hits in the pocket. Maybe we shouldnt pass as much? Out of all the running Josh has done (a record setting amount, btw), yall were able to dig up 4-5 instances that worried you. Ok. Equally proves my point. Aint worried.
  14. Josh has been running his entire 4 year career. We have tons of tape of him running. We have tape of him juking defenders out of their shoes (multiple times) to avoid hits. We have tape of him leaping over defenders (multiple times) to avoid hits. We have tape of him trucking defenders and turning them into rag dolls (multiple times) to be the hitter and avoid hits. And of course we have a ton of tape where he gets down and slides to avoid the hit. I cant think of a single running instance where he took a big hit, or a bad hit, or even a hit that made me wince a little. Not one.
  15. My neighborhood of East Atlanta is historically the punk/bar venue capital in town. We just got a bigger/newish venue which is catering perfectly to my middle-aged parent demographic. The Shins played last week. Was going to get tickets for Interpol/Spoon next week. But now see Spoon isnt playing this show. Going to try to see Ween in a couple weeks. Clutch/Quicksand/Helmet is intriguing but probably wont make that Father John Misty on a Friday, and then Pavement the next day, is a MUST in October. Glad to have shows back!

  17. Same. I said Elam, Elam, 6. I think Tenuta and Spector end up on the PS, everyone else on the roster. I could also easily agree that Cook will have the "biggest" season, depending on what your definition of is, is.
  18. Why am I not surprised to hear that you two were the cause of a message board demise?
  19. Doubtful. Ford can't play Center.
  20. Magic Beanes!
  21. So pretty much, she drove into the lake?
  22. Came in to link this. Here is the original post and full theory. I think he's right.
  23. I love that even on this team stacked with personalities, the funniest one on all these videos is always Beane.
  24. Yeah, they arent all-pros by any means. But I'm giving the Bengals credit for making the Super Bowl with the mess they had last year, so any improvement is a big step up.
  25. Comes down to Ravens or Bengals for me. Ravens have the coaching, Bengals have the better QB and weapons. AND Bengals had a TON of cap space this offseason to completely revamp their OL. So while I think it will be close between the two, I lean Bengals. (Pittsburgh, no chance. I wont even mention the other team in Ohio)
