Highest graded defenders for Week 10 (Look who's 1st)
DrDawkinstein replied to Gambit's topic in The Stadium Wall
Same. And he has been making more big plays (knocking down or tipping passes) even if he isnt making the INTs. I dont know that we can afford him, but I have no concerns if Beane decides to pay him. -
Forget 4th and 2, we need to be talking about "2nd and 2". THREE DRIVES IN A ROW to start the second half, the Bills got to 2nd and 2... and STALLED. Couldnt pick up 6 feet, on 2-3 tries.

Loved this dude when I was a kid in the 80s. Saw him play Melody Fair a few times. Perfect humor for 7-10 year olds. Lot of happy memories of renting his specials and seeing him live. RIP

How many beers it would take to get with NFL QBs as women

You mean like how they adapted into a Defense that rushed less than 4 and baited the other #1B QB in the NFL into throwing a game-sealing INT to our Defense? Getting home with only rushing 4 is the biggest key to winning for any defense. Blitzing only opens you up to the hot routes and big plays. The few times we have blitzed, we were taken advantage of in that exact way. Defense isnt the problem. But they moved the ball from the 20 yard line to the other 20 yard line AT WILL. Cant win games letting teams score a whopping 3 points!

Terrel Bernard was absolutely abused yesterday
DrDawkinstein replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was the same weekend too (Nov 7th), and the same 2nd game after the Bye week. Almost a mirror image from last year where we came out of the bye flat, managed to survive the first game by dominating a lesser team, then laid an Offensive egg the next. -

Happy Birthday, Dude! -
Miami is definitely stacking talent and helping turn the AFC East into the premier division in our conference. However, I'm still not too worried about beating them in head-to-head match ups where they arent harnessing the power of 1,000,0000+ nuclear bombs to slow down the Bills. The one thing I AM kinda, sorta worried about is the fact that the NFL would love to have Miami, as a market, succeed. And the Super Bowl storyline of "The Battle of Bama-teammate QBs, Hurts v Tua", might be so tempting that the Phins start getting all the calls in games and in the playoffs. Other than that, with neutral or Buffalo weather, we crush them.
