Right after the game in 2019. In Nashville, was PACKED with Bills fans. More so than even usual. It was a hard fought game. JP had a great game. He and Lawson jawwed Lewan into 1 (maybe 2) bad drive-killing penalties, just ate his lunch all game. Pretty much won the game for us. And then when Lewan took to twitter later that day they didn't let it slide. Love having these dudes back on the team.

Plus getting him and JPhillips back against Lewan is always a good time. I'm not against having Epenesa inactive and rotating Shaq in to be better against a run-heavy team. Could balance out losing Settle. Plus we still have DJones in the middle too.

Not sure he'll have the option. It's likely that Poyer's best path forward (money-wise) will be to win the SB this year, and cash in on that resume highlight in Free Agency. Even if he "earns" a $15M/year deal, I don't think Beane is willing to pay that much, at that position, at his age. And we know he (Rachel) wants to chase that money.

This dude has done nothing to earn his position, and should have been banished from the league after the Jags stint. If Denver is smart, they'll one-and-done him. Blame it on the new ownership. Plus, it's a REALLY bad look for a team/fo to stop a career from progressing. When you do that, it makes it tougher to attract top coaches down the line. I think we're setup pretty well for Dorsey's inevitable departure. Joe Brady kinda popped and fizzled already, but I think there was a lot of learning in his success at LSU and not-so-success in Carolina. Continuing to develop him here as QB coach and then promote him once Dorsey leaves. Either way we have a good plan for the next 3-4 years.

I too prefer all our games to be scheduled for Sundays at 1pm since it's easier for me to get out to the Bills bar at that time. However, I will absolutely take this "min-Bye week" we were gifted to start the season. 10 days between week 1 and 2 will be crucial for our deep run in the long season ahead of us. Juxtapose that with KC who just played Sunday and is already getting ready to play in 2 days on Thursday night. I'll look for a link, but the schedule analysis done earlier this year showed the NFL gifted the Bills the MOST rest between opponents than any other team. Things are starting to break Buffalo's way. Now we just need to capitalize.

If it's for a HC job we have no ability to stop it. Only lateral moves. The only way to stop it is for Pegula to open the check book, which I'm not opposed to since it aint my money and it doesnt count towards the cap. I'm hoping that Dorsey sees the value in hanging in this position for at least another season past this one. Get his feet under him as an OC and even asst HC, before moving on. I could see it if someone the size of Gabe Davis runs all the way across the end zone and has planted his toes at the sideline, Josh has scrambled right and is almost all the way at the sideline or just about to go out at lets say the 5 yard line. He throws it down the sideline. Ball is physically out of bounds, but still live/in play. Davis, over 6ft, is falling forward AND has arms stretched out and catches the ball 5 feet out of bounds, but with toes still in. Catches, keeps his feet down, and then completes his fall. I'd be very surprised for the refs to say "no TD". And I believe with Davis' feet still in bounds, it "makes" the ball still in bounds as well. If refs did say No TD, there would be a revolt and a rule change. Agreed. Side note: How awesome is it that the Bills are so good, this is what we spend our Monday's discussing now?

So you're saying if I'm running down the field right at the sideline, and right before I hit the end zone I hold the ball out to my side, and I reach farther then the outside of the pylon, it isnt a TD? Outside of the pylon isnt a TD even if I possess the ball and my feet are in bounds?

At least 1 to Diggs, Davis, and Knox, over the last couple seasons. Receiver's toes on the line, ball way outside, caught, TD.

The plane of the goal line extends infinitely in all directions (hence why hitting the pylon counts as a TD even though it is technically out of bounds). In the case of your example, the ball broke the plane, and the WR possessed it while still in bounds. Touchdown. (If Im understanding your scenario correctly)

This 100%. McD is smart to go with Crowder on PR and Slot in such a game over a rookie. Shakir will get his opportunities this season, but last night it wasnt in the cards. Harrison and Simms commented on it in the pregame. They said they spent time at the Bills camp, and the team looked and felt just like they did in camp during warm-ups. That they were loose, having fun, yet laser focused. Couldnt ask for a better way to play the game.
