  1. Never too early to talk draft. The scouts and GM are definitely talking about it, and we aint players. We need another Wood/Levitre draft. Go Interior back to back, just like Beane did with DE. Then snag a couple WRs. The draft should be totally Offense.
  2. He's a dork who I want to shove into a locker, but... I gotta at least say he is preforming WAY better than I thought he would. The team is light years ahead of the Flores teams, and he is getting the best out of Tua. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm assuming he'll get figured out next year. 🤞
  3. I'm betting Josh leads the game in rushing yards across both teams. Saddle Up!
  4. I have no idea how theyre going to pull off having this game, but props to all the workers and fans making it happen! Stay warm, stay safe, GO BILLS!
  5. If it wasnt for him coaching a bitter rival and all the bull#### stuff they pulled to "win", I'd love me some Belichick. He's a football mastermind, and his type of dry humor is right up my alley. More great stories about his sense of humor here: https://theathletic.com/2889665/2021/10/29/its-fun-at-gunpoint-the-comedy-stylings-of-bill-belichick/
  6. Meh. Sounds like a snoozer about stuff we already know and moved on from. I feel like simply going through the TSW archive from those years could get you the same thing, probably with better commentary. If you want to wallow in those years for some reason, do what you need to do. But I doubt much of the fanbase wants to rehash that time when we have such a great team with a bright future to focus on right now. Sully is officially washed up. His next move should be writing scotch or wine reviews for the local pennysaver.
  7. About what tho? Detail about what?
  8. What could Sully possibly tell us about the drought years that he hasnt annoyingly whined about already or we dont already know? "Ralph was cheap, and Russ Brandon was a womanizing scumbag". Wow, great headlines for 2008.
  9. Better to have it and take it off, than need it and not have it. Plus, you got a lot of time outside to tailgate, or just on the walk in. Layer like crazy.
  10. Sayin all the right things at least. He should stick to pressers and avoid twitter. LETS GO! I dont care if its 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, as long as he actually catches the ball. Which is a nice change.
  11. I would guess the beard/stubble that is left under your chin is rubbing on the shaved neck spot and irritating it. Which would explain why it doesnt happen if you shave your entire face.
  12. They've scored 6 goals in 1 period twice this week!
  13. Such a great, but perfectly Billsy, season. The one year we're not trying to win so we can grab a QB next year, and we break the drought and make the playoffs. 🤣
  14. No one is more aware than MM who has already made $76.5M. It's not like he needs the job. edit: I misread and his career earnings are really $64.5 to date. But I dont think that changes much. Still enough to scrape by on for the rest of his life.
  15. Why? Career earnings of $76.5M. He's playing journeyman vet duties to help bridge a team. Wife has a new baby, and you're told you're benched. I'd probably stay home with the family too.
  16. We had him. In order to move him back down to PS, you have to release him and have him clear waivers first. This is for all waiver-eligible players being sent to PS. When we waived him this time (not the first time), the Giants and our boys Schoen and Daboll, snagged him off the waiver wire. Nothing we could do about it, other than having him eat up an active roster spot the whole time. And Hodgins hasnt been nearly as consistent for the Giants as we would need him to be here.
  17. That is likely part of it. Earlier in the thread someone outlined how, between his and Brown's remaining call ups, we could effectively use both players at one roster spot by alternating call ups.
  18. Yes. I think he's needed more Saturday than any game left on the schedule due to the predicted weather.
  19. He was a last hope mercenary as it was, and never really a "Falcon" at heart. Not a great look, but also not too shocked considering the state of that team in general. It's an obvious tanking move, and telling Mariota that he is playing too good and the team is winning too much. Heck, he has them 1 game out of 1st place in the Division, and theyre going to pull the plug NOW? I can see how that would offend him with all the work and effort he put in. Why bother sticking around if management wants to actively lose the last 4 games? Again, not a great look, but I give players on tanking teams a lot of leeway. It has to be tough.
  20. If this DOESNT upset McKenzie, that's part of the problem too. He should feel bad about it, but then use it as more fuel to work harder and get better. But knowing Lil Immaturity, he'll probably just make more awkward jokes and continue to collect his check. We need another draft like 2009 with Wood and Levitre in the 1st and 2nd. (Yes, I'm pretending that Maybin never happened, lets not mention it)
  21. I like how you blame and criticize others here when this was all Sully's fault.
  22. Not true on any of that really? He had a number of nice catches through the first few games, averaging 9yds/catch. He picked up 1st downs on I believe every one of his catches. Josh mentioned in a post game how well they were building that relationship. I dont think McK "clearly" beat him out as much as Crowder was catching up in the offense and was about to beat him out. He had a real nice start and the injury was a real blow to this offense.
  23. Yes, learned this myself today. He is back running on the sideline and doing PT with trainers. Could be back before end of regular season. He had a nice start, so hoping he can pick that back up where he left off. If it wasnt for that ankle injury, we probably dont make this move or have this drop/slot problem.
