  1. Yes. I think he's needed more Saturday than any game left on the schedule due to the predicted weather.
  2. He was a last hope mercenary as it was, and never really a "Falcon" at heart. Not a great look, but also not too shocked considering the state of that team in general. It's an obvious tanking move, and telling Mariota that he is playing too good and the team is winning too much. Heck, he has them 1 game out of 1st place in the Division, and theyre going to pull the plug NOW? I can see how that would offend him with all the work and effort he put in. Why bother sticking around if management wants to actively lose the last 4 games? Again, not a great look, but I give players on tanking teams a lot of leeway. It has to be tough.
  3. If this DOESNT upset McKenzie, that's part of the problem too. He should feel bad about it, but then use it as more fuel to work harder and get better. But knowing Lil Immaturity, he'll probably just make more awkward jokes and continue to collect his check. We need another draft like 2009 with Wood and Levitre in the 1st and 2nd. (Yes, I'm pretending that Maybin never happened, lets not mention it)
  4. I like how you blame and criticize others here when this was all Sully's fault.
  5. Not true on any of that really? He had a number of nice catches through the first few games, averaging 9yds/catch. He picked up 1st downs on I believe every one of his catches. Josh mentioned in a post game how well they were building that relationship. I dont think McK "clearly" beat him out as much as Crowder was catching up in the offense and was about to beat him out. He had a real nice start and the injury was a real blow to this offense.
  6. Yes, learned this myself today. He is back running on the sideline and doing PT with trainers. Could be back before end of regular season. He had a nice start, so hoping he can pick that back up where he left off. If it wasnt for that ankle injury, we probably dont make this move or have this drop/slot problem.
  7. Sal/WGR all reporting that Josh has been asking for Brown and Bease back for weeks. Got Brown back, and after Sunday's drop debacle Josh and McD pushed for Bease.
  8. Right? Bease's number is for an entire season. The other guys still have 4 games worth of drops left.
  9. That's exactly what this move is trying to do.
  10. When someone does the dumb crap like Sully pulled live and in real time, I give most of the people surrounding them the benefit of the doubt. It's tough to react in real time to things. Especially when you are in the middle of work, hosting a talk show, and thinking about how to change topics or the next topic or WTF is this guy saying?!?!? Sullivan made the statements. That's the extent of it. It would be different if they piled on with their own dumb stuff, but I dont think they did unless I missed it.
  11. You arent wrong, but Im chalking a lot of these examples up to his elbow injury. He was on tape in the beginning of the season, I believe the Chris Simms interview, talking about always erring on the side of overthrowing. And that he never wants to underthrow. And here he is underthrowing a lot. Has to be the injury because we all know he knows better.
  12. Because of Josh and Josh alone. And that is the problem we are addressing. It cant be just on Josh.
  13. McKenzie is my only disappointment. And as you note, to some extent Davis, but he plays a vastly different spot. Cook, Hines, and Shakir I put on the coaching staff. No reason that NONE of those guys can be performing better. ONE of them should be coachable.
  14. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradox_of_tolerance Congrats tho. You're the first person I've ever seen defend Sullivan over the past 20 years. And it isnt for his bad football takes, it's his hating on women that got you excited. Good look.
  15. I've had Sullivan "canceled" for years. In that I refused to read his drivel, or even give him a click on his articles. Where you cry "canceling" I just call it exercising my choice as a consumer. And when his employers realize his statements have hurt their bottom line, they will fire him. That's free market capitalism, baby. Take your adolescent drama, and crying over fake crap like "woke" and "canceling", back to twitter.
  16. Everyone is entitled to consequences for their actions too. Or do you not believe in personal responsibility?
  17. Not sure where you are seeing this. It's been like 1 or 2 posts in here. Heck, the majority of folks who dont like Beasley personally (myself included) are FOR the signing given the performance of our WRs.
  18. He had a nice year all year playing in Sanders' shadow. There was no reason to not expect him to step up this year. Not sure what happened. Maybe that ankle injury really took him off his game.
  19. If on 2nd and 8 he makes the catch at 5 yards and falls down and gives us 3rd and 3, it's a win. Because right now, McK makes the drop and puts us in 3rd and 8. I dont even need 1st downs or YAC. Just catch the damn ball. Which is sad we;re to this point.
  20. We all know why. Polarizing personality, and folks aint wrong about that. But, by NFL standards, at least he hasnt raped anyone 🤷‍♂️ And the Bills need all the help they can get.
  21. 2 of those fell short of picking up the 1st down and got him chewed out by Brady. 1 picked up a crucial 4th down tho. But again, we just need guys who can catch. Dont need YAC.
  22. I dont think Beane messed up the WR room. How could he know after last year and the KC game that Davis would regress so badly, and that Crowder would break an ankle? This is a move due to the players not developing and doing their part.
  23. They released him to put him back on the Practice Squad and Bease said "You cant fire me, I quit!" only after he was already released. So he is free and clear.
  24. And thats the problem.
