  1. They need to be using him in some of the spots they have McKenzie. Instead of giving Hines slow-developing delayed handoffs, hit him on a bubble-screen. Just like the Pats did with Jones, and the one we threw to McK. Get him out in space.
  2. lo, If we could sign him to even 20% more than Milano, we would have done it already. As a matter of fact, we are paying him Milano+20% right now. Milano makes $10M/year. That is CHUMP CHANGE. Edmunds' market value will likely be $18-20M/year. How do you feel about having to pay him that much?
  3. Lot of great points, but wanted to focus on this one. SOMETHING happened at the end of the kickoff after our first TD that had the Pats/Bills jawwing at each other and almost fighting. And whatever it was, got Shaq so fired up he dominated the 3 plays the Pats had before having to punt from their endzone. And he got the rest of that DL fired up and riding his energy. Great to have Shaq and JPhillips back. Need that fire and swagger up front. I still wonder what happened on that kickoff...
  4. It's their first crack at it so I'll give them some leeway. The video and audio quality of Amazon broadcasts has been great all year. The on-air talent is very good. I think the production booth will get it together eventually.
  5. Things are not going so well on the Patriots subreddit today... https://www.reddit.com/r/Patriots/
  6. Here is the entire post-game. Must see TV.
  7. The postgame was amazing. THIS is the interview everyone needs to see. It's Josh at his best. Humble, hilarious, and playing perfectly off Fitz and the rest of the crew.
  8. As a long time Edmunds detractor, I say... pay the man. But better be ready to pay the DL studs in front of him too since they are making all the difference.
  9. What a dumb line of questioning.
  10. Can be said for every single NFL fan with what we know about players and owners and the league in general.
  11. At WR, definitely (although his TEs were strong). At OL, he certainly had way more talent in front of him.
  12. So they have been able to make an active roster, and Bease cant make a single active roster across the league, but Bease is better/just as good as they are. Ok. Great logic.
  13. They all have better stats than Beasley, and you can look up every play on the ESPN game trackers. This isnt the first time this conversation has been had here, that's why some of us already know this stuff. But keep making excuses for your culture warrior who is an old broken-down WR.
  14. So on Tampa that had lost a bunch of WRs due to injury, the best he could get was 5 targets. And on 4 catches he had 1 success and 2 failures to pick up the 1st down. Garbage stats. He's done.
  15. Disagree. Bease's bread and butter was getting hit on quick slants or short verticals to make the quick catch and scoot for another few yards. This is exactly what Brady loves to do with his little WRs. He wasnt going deep, and then coming back and improvising when Josh broke the pocket. Bease was doing the same thing in Tampa, making the quick catch, but NOT getting the additional yards. He came up short of the 1st down marker on 3rd down multiple times, and was released.
  16. You're getting into my territory of stretching and inferring things
  17. But we saw it here at the end of his time in Buffalo too. Tampa was just a continuation of his decline. Look, I want the Bills to win a SB more than anything. Regardless of his off field garbage, if he could play, I'd welcome him back. Especially right now with all the injuries. But he's done.
  18. But he's not moving the chains anymore. That was the issue in Tampa.
  19. Ha! Fair enough point, but Cole was the only one to get cut right after, so far.
  20. Not in two years. His time in Tampa was "catch and fall down", and just short of the 1st down.
  21. It's the "me first, team last" adolescent twitter rants, regardless of the topic. And what happened in Tampa was simple. He's old and his body is done and he couldnt pick up the 1st downs anymore. Back to back games he came up short by a couple yards, got chewed out by Brady, and then was released. And then said he didnt want to be there anyway. Like typical Bease.
  22. He's washed. He's a punk. He wanted out of Buffalo, and now that he has seen reality of the outside world, wants back in. Tough. If he could play at all, I might be interested. But he's physically done and not worth the hassle.
