Diggs unfollows Buffalo, follows Cowgirls 🤷♂️
DrDawkinstein replied to DaggersEOD's topic in The Stadium Wall
No one cared. Especially since it was Diggs and maybe 2 other players that bothered to actually show up ready to play that game. If the players cared so much about Diggs leaving the locker room right away (even tho the game and season were in fact already over), then they should have showed up to the game instead of disrespecting Diggs and the rest of the team with the performance they gave. It was already a mess by then and everyone was just happy to have it be over and done with. Moving on to 2023. -
Report: Dolphins exploring “moving on” from Tua
DrDawkinstein replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any team trading for Lamar would have to go in knowing they'll be signing him to a fully guaranteed $270M contract. The entire trade would be contingent on a long term deal. The only owners I can think of willing to do that for him right now are Blank and Ross. Would not be surprised to see Miami do it since Ross was willing to give up ownership % to get Brady on the team. (still think it ends up Atlanta) -

Methinks its that these athletes dont think about the lowly fans AT ALL, nor should they, when they are posting stuff about their own lives. And the crazy fan(atics) who have nothing else better to do are reading far too much into it. So he wants to go to... DALLAS?!? -

WR Allen Robinson available, Rams willing to eat salary
DrDawkinstein replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
No thanks. Would rather have Bob Woods back. And I dont even really want him back. -
Congrats to Darnell for showing up prepared, in shape, and perfectly executing on his opportunity. Put up CRAZY numbers and measurables, and made some great catches. I still dont think he's a 1st round pick, but would be less concerned about using a 2nd on him.

Tracks with this: https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/look-kentucky-quarterback-will-levis-drinks-his-coffee-with-mayonnaise/ So is this milk story just myth from a GM hoping to make Levis slide? Or is this craziness real?

Daniel Jones wants more than $45M per year on new deal
DrDawkinstein replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Based on the going rate for a starting QB in the NFL. The reason he would ask for a lot of money (whether that is $45M, $35M, whatever) isnt because he's comparing himself with the other top QBs. It's because he's comparing himself with the rest of the 7billion people on Earth and realizing that even if you rank him in the bottom 1/4 of the league, that means there are only 24 people on the entire planet capable of doing his job better than him. And there are really only about 50 people TOTAL in the entire world capable of doing this job at all at the present moment. ALL of these players should show up to the negotiation table asking for a ridiculous amount of money. Because the league literally has billions of dollars. -

Sounds like jealousy. The league makes a ton of money based on fan interest and popularity. That interest and popularity is directly due to the players. The players should get as much of that money as possible. Doesnt matter what anyone else thinks the job is actually worth. The money the players get paid is already coming into the league, so it either goes to the players who are the ones with the talent, and putting in the work, and sacrificing their bodies. Or it lines the pockets of the already rich owners who are doing nothing. I like this time of year because I'm happy for these dudes getting every penny they can out of the league. -

Even better, it was a lie by his old agent to try to save face and make Jones look bad. -
Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR

This is an embarrassingly high amount to use the term "alpha", and then close by citing Andy Reid as an example 🤣 -

Gotcha, thanks to both. Yeah, I believe he'll leave those duties to the DC. Especially if/when the hire ends up Holcomb or Babich. -

Did he confirm this in a PC or something? McD is definitely, 100% calling the Defense? -
Bills Rank 9th in NFLPA Team Report Card
DrDawkinstein replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
Making grown-ass men people share a room is ridiculous. Especially when you are a billion-dollar company. I remember back in the day I had just started with a new company, and we were preparing to travel to a trade show. The info email came out and it had us sharing rooms. I reached out to my roomie and said "Rooms at this place are $99/night. If I book my own room myself, will you split the cost?" He was onboard, but I would've booked my own room even if he didnt want to split it. When I told the team logistics team my plan they were SHOCKED. Couldnt believe why or how anyone would want their own room. I was like "I don't need to be up all night with a snoring room mate, or trying to coordinate bathroom usage and showering and getting dressed with my coworker. Seems like a weird situation you are putting a lot of people in." It was the first time it even crossed their mind that a bunch of adults would want their own spaces. They rebooked everything the next day, with everyone getting their own room. But jeez louise... -
