  1. I liked Deion as a player. Not sure about off-field/mentor I would send my kid to play for. BUT, being in recruiting territory of CA and Texas is huge, and he should be able to snag a few mid-top guys from those areas that would have previously otherwise gone to Boise St, San Diego, Fresno St, Utah, etc. While I'm not rooting for him to fail, I do think this ends up blowing up on him. We'll see.
  2. So college football with more steps?
  3. A not so great update... https://247sports.com/college/mississippi-state/board/59413/Contents/probably-our-final-update--200271795/?page=1
  4. I think we could see a Standing Buffalo helmet since that isnt a new helmet, just a different decal on the white helmet. The Red Helmet 90s throwback might be next year. Hopefully after a Super Bowl victory.
  5. Big disagree that "most of the kids have zero interest in college". At least half of them are there for school. Force them to decide between school (which they would now have to pay for since no more scholarships), or a Dev league they are most likely not making it out of... seems more like Lose-Lose.
  6. Yep, I think the last Jets game where his bad picks directly cost us the game stuck with him, and he simply wasnt going to allow that to happen again.
  7. He is broken down and ineffective. His political rantings have nothing to do with why he isnt playing in the NFL today. He physically cant. Father Time is undefeated.
  8. Yes, there were a few times yesterday that I found myself yelling "THROW THE BALL TYROD, err, I MEAN JOSH!" A lot of double clutches and uncertainty.
  9. Someone should invite the Jets WRs to the taping tonight so they can show him how it is done.
  10. AKA proper tackling technique. I wish the rest of the league would get back to it instead of this "human missile" garbage they all try. Great vid on it here:
  11. He may not have been perfect, but he couldnt have given up too much considering the Jets Offense scored 10 total points, and their only TD came on the ground. Tre played soft, had some catches that he kept in front of him, and didnt give up anything big. No big deal.
  12. Ehh, coming into this season everyone in and out of Buffalo raved that we had the most talented roster on paper. And if not the most talented, easily a top 3 roster. With that, it makes it harder and harder for rookies to crack into playing time. Even when it is a 1st rounder competing with a former 7th rounder who now happens to be a 3 year vet. In 2017 and 2018, everyone saw playing time because our roster sucked so any new player was an improvement. Now, not so much. Heck, folks wanted Beane to trade picks away because we didn't even have that many open spots on the roster for rookies to even make the team, let alone win a starting spot.
  13. Another great game for Shaq, and a good game for Epenesa too. Love to see it. So glad to have Shaq and Phillips back as role players. Shaq really stepping up in that starting spot with Von out.
  14. This is pretty much the response I'd expect out of Lil Immaturity.
  15. Came in to post exactly this. I like the idea.
  16. I mean, it's his job to talk for 3 hours about this stuff every day. What else can he do? Sit there and cheerlead the Bills full time? It would be unlistenable. When you are in a room with WGR Callers, it isnt hard to be the smartest guy there.
  17. LETS GOOOOO I cant believe the Chargers pulled this off. Just goes to show, it's tough in the NFL.
  18. The answer is always McKenzie.

  20. The DL rotates. The DBs dont. Rousseau wasnt close to starting over Hughes and Addison.
  21. Agreed Hurts will get MVP. But that team is going to the Super Bowl. Especially in the NFC. Maybe the 9ers have a shot, but that will be tough with Purdy.
  22. He was an unquestioned starter while competing with the likes of EJ Gaines, Leonard Johnson, and Lafayette Pitts for playing time. We started Nathan Peterman as a rookie that year too. Heck, all the rookies started considering the lack of talent on the team, Beane wanting to see what he had as he took over, and the Bills' sights set on drafting a QB as high as possible the next year. Tre was great right out of the blocks, I wont deny that. But the situation, and talent levels, were completely different. He wasnt coming to an established team with talented vets in an established system. Elam mostly got playing time early this year for the same reason Benford and JaMarcus Ingram got playing time. Injuries forced the rookies in. We'll see how he develops.
  23. Folks are fliping out, but yall need to realize that if everyone (Tre) had been healthy from the start of the season then this is exactly what we would have been seeing all along. With no big worry as to when the kid would develop. Tre obviously has the #1 spot down. And even with the 1st round pedigree, the 3 year vet has the edge over Elam. We'll see if/when the kid can develop and beat out the vet but I'd be surprised if it happened this year. I'll start to get concerned if he is still sitting next year.
  24. One is for her family's costs, the other is specifically a fund to get her a handicapped van. They should be titled at the top. Donating to both made sense to me. Good question tho. I wondered the same thing.
  25. Surprising no one with their corruption and incompetency, the NCAA screwed up the "pay the players" issue resolution by taking the easiest way out. The NIL idea is the worst possible solution to that issue. But it's the quickest and easiest one for them. The NCAA is such a joke.
