  1. Not sure how injury settlements work tho. To your point, it will be up to any language in his contract.
  2. The ads you get presented are based off your own personal browsing history, so...
  3. Couldnt happen to a better guy. So happy for him.
  4. Dislocated knee. The worst injury it could be. Not only is his career over, but now his wife and kids can out run him when he tries to beat them. It's not the players or Glenn that needs to be fired. Problem is, no one can fire Woody.
  5. The vibe across the entire Ravens team is off right now. Fans were talking about how even long time veteran leaders who are always Rah-Rah guys were even hanging their heads when walking off the field early in the game. Lamar started with an INT, and then his own version of the Butt (Back) Fumble. And then he saw starters dropping to injuries. And the vibe kept getting worse. So he came up with an "injured hamstring". The mental weakness isnt just a Lamar problem, but that is certainly a place to start, as with any franchise QB. Henry's reaction after his fumble in the Lions game was unbelievable. I was surprised there were no other vets going to him to pick him up, and instead everyone let him throw himself down on the bench and then pace around wide-eyed saying "oh my god, oh my god". Between the playoff loss, and then week 1... Josh basically broke the Ravens franchise. With a little help from the Lions last week.
  6. Yeah, I dont think it has anything to do with Codrington being "bad" or doing something to get himself benched, but more to do with Samuel being paid $9M/yr and the other guys coming back. Codrington is a one-trick pony. And we are too short on roster spots to keep guys who only do one small thing.
  7. Lamar quit on his team. Disagree if you want but it was fairly obvious. It was the immediate topic in many of our chats before anything else popped up online. He didnt grab at his hammy, he didnt even limp off the field, he went right to the bench to pout and there was no training staff around him. He is an amazing athletic specimen. He is also very soft mentally and physically. That team needs something big to wake it up and turn it around. Not sure if firing the DC will be enough, but probably a good start. edit: Adam Schefter, the secret mouthpiece of the teams, just said on GetUp! "Now, we arent sure whether they were pulling him anyways because the game was out of hand, or if this hamstring injury might sideline him for weeks", so they are already starting to shift the narrative to "We were going to pull him anyways" because he's not going to miss any time because he isnt really injured. Meaning, he essentially pulled himself. Again. Because he's a quitter.
  8. Very true. But they're coming from all over. Some up the middle, some off the edge... It's not teams all doing the same thing to get there. But it is weird.
  9. Blocking isnt high on the a long snappers list of duties. They're considered Defenseless Players while their "head is down, and he is in a vulnerable, unprotected state after the snap". If opposing players are coming directly through him, he needs to learn how to sell that penalty. If they are shooting the gaps on either side of him, that's on the Guards. As long as his snaps are on target, he's good.
  10. Lamar is so soft. Quit on his team once they got down 17. Just like he quit on his team in Buffalo and came out on 4th down.
  11. I'm ok with it too. We need them more in Jan/Feb than right now. But it obviously does something to the team mentality that coaches need to be ready for.
  12. Oh yeah, that 3rd down run by Ty... oof
  13. They were amped up and focused to try to get their first win against one of the best teams in the NFL. We were bored, distracted, and seemed to be looking past them. A tone set by the coaches resting so many starters. But it worked out.
  14. How bout that Jimbo Cook tho too. "BuT cOoK dOeSnT pLaY 3rD dOwNs!" You're GD right he doesnt...
  15. And dont get me wrong. A win is a win, and it was still a 12 point win.
  16. I think we've had 2 others of those already this season, yet here we are again. This takes me back to the 2023 season where every week we said "McDermott will wake them up after THAT". But it never happens. We'll dick around and then win on being far more talented, especially at QB. And then see what happens in the playoffs when you cant win on just talent alone.
  17. McD loves making bad QBs look good. "It's tough to win in the NFL"
  18. $82M in career earnings. Not bad for a journeyman. (and future Hall of Famer!)
  19. Or a Lamborghini with scrambled eggs for an engine.
  20. Man, this thread is bringing back a lot of memories of games in the 80s and 90s. The evolution from small transistor radios to this major step up: Then the real game changer, the Watchman. Back when the scoreboard was just a big lite-brite and didnt show replays. I remember guys having these and after a big or close play the whole row would crowd around that 2" screen trying to catch a replay on the broadcast.
  21. Great stadium, will be mostly Bills fans. We (Atlanta) had the largest Bills Backers club outside of New York State for a long time (maybe still do). We're also planning on having a ton of visitors come in for it since its an easy travel destination. Here's the info on the official Buffalo tailgate. You dont need a ticket to get in, only if you want access to their food/drinks. https://www.tickpick.com/organizer/event/atl-takeover-tailgate-with-bills-backers-atlanta-58822442
  22. I think a SB win would definitely put us ahead of the Ravens. Maybe the Rams. But we would need multiple SB appearances to get ahead of the Eagles.
