  1. Maybe take a break during this extra-emotional week when you find yourself agreeing with Donte Whitner on how to be a GM. I'll stick with Beane.
  2. If we stuck to discussing players all offseason that would be a huge step up from the usual topics that dominate between Feb and June.
  3. You saw a screen?!? Gonna need a link because I dont even remember us attempting one. Screens, slants, etc dont exist to Dorsey/Allen. The best way to beat a blitz and slow down a pass rush is to hold the ball for 5 seconds while you wait for plays to develop 40 yards downfield.
  4. Because that was pretty much his plan when he went all-in for this season. And then we got bit by the injury bug. We swung for the fences and fouled the ball right into our own cup. Beane has his work cut out for him this offseason. I'm sure he realizes it too.
  5. Pretty sure the last time the Bengals lost two SBs in a row, good things for the Bills followed close behind.
  6. One of the only Bills that brings the right attitude to the playing field.
  7. Cmon, just trade our bad guys for great players at the same position. IT'S THAT EASY!
  8. No thanks. We dont call enough run plays, and the runs we do call are poorly designed and timed. Not worth the money to sign a big name RB and not use him. Frankly, between Allen, Cook, and being able to re-sign Singletary super cheap, we have all the RBs we need. Throw in Hines too. And we dont use any of them as we should as it is.
  9. BOB will be an upgrade over Patricia, but they still have McCorkle so I'm not worried about it. I dont think BOB would have been a good fit in Buffalo, personality-wise. He's pretty much a huge ahole. Not sure how Josh and Diggs and the guys would mesh with that. Or even McD. And it's not like he is this standout offensive guru that makes it worth putting up with his personality. He's just ok, and then a dick on top of it.
  10. That's a problem if a boss doesnt trust his employees to simply do their jobs. Have to trust them. If they fail, then you go from there. But they at least need to be given the chance.
  11. We dont play Tough Guy football. We are a finesse team that is very humble and polite.
  12. Bsed on those Colts teams, that isnt much of a selling point for me.
  13. He doesnt call plays. Or at least doesnt do it well. He isnt much of an offensive "guru", as much as he is a nice leader who isnt much of a threat to Pederson (the real play caller). I wouldnt mind him as QB coach actually. Someone to help keep Josh level. But that isnt going to happen.
  14. Ha, no one is ok "the day after". Have you seen the state of the rest of the board? 🤣 It's not a flex, because there is nothing to be proud or happy about. I'll never brag about knowing the team is soft and unmotivated. The Bills, once again, came out flat against a team that was far more amped up. And they got stomped and "bullied" up and down the field. Just as unfortunately expected. I dont know what happened over the Bye, but this team lost its fire, especially on Offense. We had the fight brought to us for 3/4 of the season instead of bringing a fight to anyone. But that season is over now. We get another chance to find a fire again next year. I'm sure some "mean clapping" will get it done.
  15. We've used it a couple times this year (like literally twice tops, but it does exist). Guys like Saffold and Brown, even Bates, can all execute it. Maybe not a classic power running game, but a decent one nonetheless. The only thing I'm unsure of is if Dorsey knows where to even find that section of the playbook.
  16. Surprisingly not as bad as I was thinking. Not a ton of key people, or like, half the team. The entire OL can walk at this point. This is where Beane has to hit it hard. As hard as it is for me to believe I'm about to say this, hear it goes... You have to pay Tremaine. Agreed on bringing back the back up and ST guys (Keenum, Klein, Martin, Matakevich). The Bills are always better with Shaw and Jordan around.
  17. Oh, for sure it's part of who he is naturally. But that's why it's up to the OC to get that under control, and build gameplans and call plays that keep it in check. Which Daboll figured out, but Dorsey hasnt.
  18. Allen is looking like a boom or bust QB... because we have an OC who refuses to give this offense an identity, or setup our guys to succeed, or know how to calm Josh down. I dont consider myself to be any type of Xs and Os expert, but I know I have a better gameplan for yesterday than Dorsey. And that is not good. Perfect. The Bengals had to lose a couple SBs back to back before the Bills started their run last time too.
  19. Cincy had footing problems too. We just didnt take advantage of it by adjusting to a power running game and instead stayed in our finesse passing game because apparently that is what wins January playoff games in Buffalo.
  20. And they werent good. And we've been dealing with "Sugar Josh vs Angry Josh" for years. Still love Allen, would commit crimes for him. But Burrow is far more consistent week in and week out. Never have to wonder which Joe is showing up. Still love you, Josh!
  21. I dont think it will be used to hide the weaknesses in the roster. But you are probably right the coaching staff will (unfortunately) get a "pass" on this season, or even lauded for putting together a 13-3 season after so many injuries and issues.
  22. Protection? Not familiar with Cincy's OL, eh?
  23. He's not completely wrong. Any fan can make arguments for Mahomes, Burrow, Allen being 1-2-3 in any order. Burrow stays cool and gets the job done, Allen is all over the place. Chase missed a handful of games too (at least 4 I believe).
  24. He had no gas EXCEPT for that play, and it was noticeable that he was trying hard to manufacture some fire, like a hockey team sending out it's 4th line to start a fight.
