What does our O-Line look like now?

I like the idea of using one of those 7ths on Vorhees -

Go to the live draft thread where it is being discussed. -

For real. I get that its a cliche. But the difference is staggering. -

2024 draft class is streets beyond this dump of a class. Stack picks to use to trade up next year. -

These trade backs are stacking picks for next year. I dont blame him. There is no one left in this draft. -

Brandon Beane hates this round Moved back to the 7th twice, but picked up 2 6ths for next year which is a much more talented draft. -
What does our O-Line look like now?
DrDawkinstein replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. I'm hoping McBeane are past that whole "the roster is complete, rookies wont need to contribute right away" mindset. If we want to take a step from last year, we need what Kincaid and Torrence bring to the table to translate to our Offense this year. -
At the end of the day (or camp to be precise), if nothing else works out, I'm fine with this.

That is a worst case scenario. Like a Tommy Doyle playing on a blown ACL, team getting cooked alive, worst case scenario. -

Mainly right guard. He kicked out to OT for a little bit in a pinch, but is really a RG. They moved him to LG for a couple of bad plays in the Senior Bowl, and then moved him right back to RG where he dominated. -

We arent paying McGovern $7M+/yr to not start. He's pretty much a sure thing.- 206 replies

Dawkins - McGovern - Morse - Torrence - Brown Quess - Boettger - Bates - Edwards - Doyle (Doyle?) - (Broeker?) (Gouraige?) edit: Broeker either PS, or in Boettger's spot if Beane pull's off a trade. I dont know enough about UDFA OT Richard Gouraige yet. He might be able to replace Doyle at backup RT, and Doyle moves to backup LT. He might make the PS. He might just be camp fodder. That right side could be REAL NASTY if those dudes get their stuff together and develop. Or does Bates or Edwards have a chance of starting over Torrence, and McGovern plays RG?

RD 5, Pick 150: WR Justin Shorter, Florida
DrDawkinstein replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
But Gabe is about to be priced out and off our team after this season, regardless of who is better. Hopefully Shorter can develop. He has a good WR room around him. -

Was just going to say the same thing after watching his video. -

Wow. Antonio Johnson and Luke Wypler still out there. Teams must know something the public doesnt. Eagles stacking players from UGA champ team. Bills stacking players from... Florida, oof. 🤣🤣 But at this point of the draft, sure, whatever they want to do. -
RD 2, Pick 59: G O’Cyrus Torrence, Florida

goddammit -
I dont really get the pick, but at this point there arent any players left that I know that well anyways. Like others said, low talent draft. So it's whatever from here on out.

Milano was scouted by Whaley and his team, which for all their faults, were great at identifying LBs. Just sayin.

Rams line was pretty good when they won the Super Bowl too and we just brought in one of his lineman from that team. I'm expecting big improvements and getting back on track this year. -

Yeah, getting him at 59 definitely makes me feel better about it. -

Oof, alright guys, this was the slap in the face I needed to snap out of it. I'm coming around on the pick. -

That. Cant get out on the move that well. He can push straight ahead well, but is soft if he has to move laterally. Plus I dont like how that Florida team played so not high on players coming out of there. I dunno. I dont want to bag on the kid too bad. I'm cheering for him now that he is a Bill. Just wish the draft went differently. -

I understand that. I was hoping we could jump the Giants for JMS. I'm not saying Beane screwed up. I'm merely talking about player preference.
