  1. Definitely an issue with this pick. Anyone know how Dylan Parhman (Raiders) or Sean Rhyan (Packers) played this year? They contribute at OG at all? Those would be the obvious "should have" picks at #89 overall. edit: Add OG Logan Bruss (Rams) to that list too.
  2. Thanks but not even worth the keystrokes with this one.
  3. So you dont have the answer on the simple question which is on topic. You just want to insert some outside opinion when we are talking stats and numbers. Noted.
  4. I dont care about Greg Cosell's opinion. What are the other 38 targets?
  5. 1 drop, that is accounted for in his 7. 93 Targets 48 Catches 7 Drops What are the 38 remaining targets?
  6. There is certainly a point to be made regarding the bold as well. And while I'm not here to make excuses for players or coaches, I would bet a portion of that was due to the early ankle injury that he played through for the rest of the season. I guess my overall point is, there is a lot more to it than "Davis sucks" and we shouldnt be quick to move on. A lot of what I see IS fixable. New Bomb-Happy OC and QB putting up low percentage balls to him. Early injury affecting his route running (which also disrupts timing with Josh). AND Gabe having an off year.
  7. Agreed on all that. These WR conversations are always tough because the definitions of "target", "drop", etc are always cloudy. I'm sure there are a few that are "nobody's fault, just good defense" and stuff like that. My point was to illustrate that a good chunk of Gabe's regression was on Josh and Dorsey. Not simply all on Gabe forgetting how to play WR. For all those targets, and for everyone's perception, the fact Davis is credited with only 7 drops should be an eye-opener for a lot of detractors here. Not a great year for Davis, but maybe not as bad as many think.
  8. Actually, lots of them were desperation heaves by hero-ball Josh. You mention 1 of 7 accounted for drops on the season. There were still 38 missed targets. Lot more on Josh than Gabe.
  9. I know bashing Davis is hot right now (along with bashing anyone/everyone else from the team), but let's look at those numbers... 93 Targets 51.3% Catches (48) 7 true Drops 48 catches + 7 drops = 55 93 - 55 =38 So for all those targets, 38 of them (41%) were flat out misses by Josh. Mostly those deep, low percentage heaves that Josh just cant STOP himself from throwing when the D shows Cover 0 or Man or whatever gets him so excited. Davis could have and should have had a better year. He had some bad drops, and some bad games. But a lot of his regression was due to the leaders of the Offense (Josh and Dorsey) completely losing their way on how to take what the D gives you, keep the drive alive, and move the ball down the field. Ding ding ding. A lot of them. Meanwhile, Knox and Singletary running open underneath...
  10. Big UGA fan here. No.
  11. Y'all make it sound like theyve never won a playoff game. Sure, there are some tough outs in there. Guess what, losing in the playoffs will always feel worse because you are over-hyped. We also have 4 playoff WINS. Holding the Ravens to 3 points. Absolutely shutting down the Patriots. I'm not a big Frazier proponent. But yall are out of your minds this offseason.
  12. None. Some of you mary's need to suck it up already and move on to the offseason. Get a hobby for Spring or something. The Bills are winning more now than we've seen in 25 years. We have a legit, top of the league, franchise QB. We are favorites to win the Division every year, and make a run in the playoffs. Get Von back, get Micah back, lets go.
  13. I'm on the wagon of a number of top IOL. Schmitz Wypler Tippmann Terrance Mauch Vorhees Patterson Need 2 of those guys in the first 3 rounds.
  14. Not from the NFL since he didnt do anything too horrible like smoke weed or bet on a game.
  15. Here's what we are looking at for the Edmunds deal: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/baltimore-ravens/roquan-smith-25103/ Not too bad if we could actually get something like this done. Get that hit down from $12M this year to $9M next year, have an out after 3 years.
  16. Zoo Bar is going DOWN!
  17. We got 3 day VIP passes for Shaky Knees this year. Bringing the kid and making a mini-vacation out of it. Lots of great bands for us "90s Kids". And I can't pass up Mars Volta and Tenacious D on the same stage!
  18. I'm writing "this one is from Orlando Tim" on one of my molotov cocktails just because of this post.
  19. You need an entire coaching staff change to get what you laid out here. Which Im not necessarily against, but it takes way more than just signing a thumper., and that is a whole different thread. Our scheme does not ask the MLB to play like that, nor is it designed that way. Edmunds is incredibly good at what the team/scheme rely on him to do.
  20. The article linked proves that it is fake. At the end... The screenshot shows the next 10 predicted Super Bowl champions by AlbiesHOF with the date showing the predictions were tweeted out on December 16, 2015. However, one eagle eyed observed pointed out that this would have been impossible since AlbiesHOF's account was not created until 2018, making the 'predictions' bogus.
  21. And to pile on, 2 picks after Basham KC came back in and took Creed Humphrey. Two HUGE impact and value picks, while we got a 2nd (3rd?) string rotational guy. Agreed. Folks need to look at what Roquan Smith just signed for. That is your Edmunds deal.
  22. WHEN the Bills make the Super Bowl there is no place I'd rather be for the game than in Buffalo with all my family and friends. Bonus for being able to participate in the celebratory razing of the city.
  23. Just stop right there. No need to discuss further because the entire basis for this conversation is way off. If, IF, you could get Tremaine to re-sign at $11M/year, you do that immediately because that is a half-off discount on the $20M/year he is actually going to sign for. I want to know which "analyst" came up with that $11 number considering it would be a PAY CUT from what he made in 2022. And I dont ever recall a top Free Agent taking a pay cut when they hit the market. Tremaine's real numbers are more like 4/$80M. And I'd still re-sign him over a FA OT. Now, if you want to talk about a FA OG like Issac Seumalo or Ben Powers who will likely sign for far less the Edmunds or an OT, then I'm all for that discussion. Agreed. Upgrades at the Guard spots will improve both the Interior line play AND our Tackle play. Upgrading a Tackle will not have nearly as much bang for the buck.
