Drug use, addiction, and over-dosing are all tragic issues that could hit any of our families and loved ones. That said, the issue with the Reids is their cavalier attitude regarding the affect their behavior has on others. It would be one thing if it was contained to only ruining their own lives, but BOTH brothers had car accidents while intoxicated that seriously injured others. As long as they arent discriminating against a protected class, then yes. It's their business. It isnt a perfect fool-proof system, but it definitely helps keep the tickets local. It absolutely keeps out the out-of-town "ticket brokers" (aka scalpers) who buy up all the tickets with bots and then jack up the resale market.

There is a similar (or maybe even exact) rule in place for all Season Tickets. They dont want people buying them just to resell all 8 games to outsiders. The team wants to make sure local fans who love the Bills and will attend the games get the best shot at getting tickets.

That's why when I'm picking the meals for next week on HelloFresh I'm sure to sort by prep time. Might be worth signing up for HelloFresh or any of those meal services. They have a number of methods they use to spice up the meals and get good flavors going. Could be a decent way to learn the basics and get some momentum going. Plus you can always keep the recipes and supply your own groceries if you want to cook it again.

He went wrong way before that. After seeing the Bucs beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl Beane got transfixed on "Must beat the Chiefs, and must beat them with Pass Rush". And he got so wrapped up in that thinking he went and drafted DEs in the first 2 rounds (after using our first pick in the previous draft on a DE as well). He was so blinded by this hot take at the time of "Chiefs can be beat with a pass rush", that he totally forgot about having a balanced, well-rounded plan to build the best overall team possible. Had he been thinking clearly, he wouldve taken Humphrey in the 2nd. A potential stud DE in Rousseau in the 1st, and a stud OL in the 2nd? What a great draft that would've been! Addressing BOTH trenches early. And this isnt in hindsight as there were plenty of us banging the message board for Humphrey in 2021 and Linderbaum in 2022. Yet here we are. That's why I think this entire focus on the Chiefs is a bad mindset. Josh's benign post-Super Bowl quote isnt a big part of it. It was just an example that reminded me of the FO philosophy problem.

Well if Favre wants to go through with the suits (he wont), he'll also have to go through discovery. And open himself to a real ***** storm. Hence why these narcissistic blow hards never go through with their lawsuit threats. Because they know the truth would come out.

I'm sure that Josh was just giving benign "QB speak" when he said that, I agree. Except I've been hearing this same thing from our FO for too long, and their actions show they are staying a step behind instead of getting out in front of the matter. Building a championship team should be done in a vacuum, regardless of what other teams may or may not be doing. I dont need to see other teams to know to shore up the trenches, get guys open, and score points. Like I said, maybe not exactly what Josh means here. But it's been too common a theme in the FO.

Anyone defending or choosing Favre's side in this matter is revealing a lot about their own character.

Good news, we've said it literally 1000 times now.

We should have been building the OL regardless if the Chiefs did it or not. That's the whole point. I dont need the Chiefs to tell me to build the OL. By "copying what the Chiefs do" we let them draft Creed Humphrey first because we were busy "copying" them by building our Pass Rush which they did 2 years prior. As long as we stay in "copy the Chiefs" mode, we will always be 1-2 years behind them.

Would teams not be trying to do that if the Chiefs didn't exist?

They're simply trying to be the best team in the NFL regardless of what anyone else is doing. THAT is what McBeane and Co. should be doing. Stop peeking over the fence and trying to copy another team and just go build the best team in the entire NFL. Go be that team that everyone wants to copy. Because by the time you see what they are doing, make the moves to copy them, and bring it to fruition... they are already 2 more steps ahead that you can't copy. This is such a 2nd place mentality it makes me sick.
