I believe we're even 4/4 in the regular season going back to McD beating them with Tyrod in 2017.
-
Minus a fluke mistake by a WR, not sure McD has figured anything out on late-game defense with the results of that play. But sure, I can appreciate they arent just giving them the underneath. Although letting Kelce run free deep might be showing us WHY they line up off the ball.
-
I'm not going to complain that McD is too conservative, especially at the end of games, and then complain when they were going for a TD.

On our last series where we ended up kicking the go ahead FG, we went to Diggs twice and he got absolutely MUGGED both times. Sneed was wrapped around him, and had his left arm pinned down before the ball was even close. No call. Looks like a bad drop for Diggs. Dude is a baller. Look how he picked up that 1st down earlier in the game. I agree he might be dinged up. But he hasnt given up or checked out. Still crazy to me how much Bills fans want to find a reason to disparage this guy.

The "McDermott Handicap" and hopefully a solution
DrDawkinstein replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I dont disagree with this, but it really means demoting McDermott to DC and hiring a real Head Coach. Which I would also agree with. Isn't ever going to happen, but I agree with the idea. -
Get that AJE deal DONE!
-
HUGE upgrade. No offense, Hailee. But HUGE upgrade.
-
And the guy that lined up with the head start was involved in the play and scored the touchdown, so yeah. GFY, Pat.

You know... the more I see of these post game pressers by Reid and Mahomes, the angrier I get. How dare they! Getting up there like they're a common victim, talking about "this isnt good for the NFL" and "another week talking about the refs". Mother ***** YOU are the one talking about the refs! And the basic rules ARE good for the NFL! I know everyone hates the officiating in the NFL, and rightfully so. But that doesnt mean you get to complain about a correct call. By a MILE!

Taylor Rapp being reckless and a liability
DrDawkinstein replied to Mynamemike's topic in The Stadium Wall
Eyes closed, head down, leading with the crown. Classic Rapp. -
And we blow them out if our players who actually exist are all healthy. So what?
-
Apparently he slipped at home and hit his head and that was that. Freak accident type thing. Bummer.
-
Crazy enough, the "QB" of the Homerun Throwback, Frank Wycheck, just passed away yesterday at 52. Maybe he reached down and gave Toney a little push forward as he was lining up, to get us back for getting one over on us with a forward lateral.
-
Good news is we should be picking ahead of them in a WR-rich draft to stay ahead in the arms race.
-
It wasnt all negative. Positive parts are quoted all over this thread. And if any former player or coach had positive things to say, Dunne would have included them as he did for Smith and DiMarco. Problem with trying to include current players is, what else CAN they say? Even if they dont like McD. It's even more inauthentic than talking to disgruntled former employees.

The Chiefs have a top rated D and most of that is due to their DLine. Sometimes we have to play against other good players and they play well. Diggs, WRs, and the OLine are fine. We played a good team in their house in a tough game.

This. Downfield, and/or long developing crossing routes. Josh didnt have the time in the pocket to let those types of routes develop tonight. He had 2 seconds and then was running for his life. Or on some plays they let the DL right through on the snap. Also partly why so many throws went to RBs.
-
Improvised. Kelce does it all the time.

Taylor Rapp being reckless and a liability
DrDawkinstein replied to Mynamemike's topic in The Stadium Wall
Glad someone started a thread on this. It's ridiculous and I'd like to see him cut asap if he wasnt so needed. Earlier in the season I thought Rapp could step in for 1 of our 2 replacements next year. Now, I dont want him anywhere near our team. -
Did any of our WRs shine tonight? Or does KC have a good defense that took our WRs away? Seems like a weird night for the offense who still found a way to get it done enough.

Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas
DrDawkinstein replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
He just needed that last bit of contact practice this week to finally get back into game shape! (too soon? probably should go there) -
The bad news is he took another couple of suplexes tonight too. With no flags. I dont get why the refs just let Digs get interfered with and mugged up and down the field, and then when he does make a catch the defense can just slam him around how ever they want. It's maddening.
-
No he isnt done, and no our OL isnt horrible all of a sudden. Newsflash for anyone who hasnt been following the NFL: THE CHIEFS, especially their defense, ARE A REALLY GOOD TEAM everyone R-E-L-A-X

It's so beautiful that it happened against the Bills so Mahomes is juxtaposed with Josh. Josh has been taking a TON of heat from fans online. They claim he's a big whiny baby, and is always crying to the refs for a call (and sometimes that is very true). But now, after seeing this, the online tide has turned and folks are realizing Mahomes is the biggest baby, he just usually gets the calls and doesnt have to cry. Yeah, if you think about it as $14M spread across both Knox and Kincaid, it isnt too bad.
