Levi Wallce buried on depth chart; if he's cut...?
DrDawkinstein replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, it says I know how Leadership and Accountability works. Thank you! You understand that is him taking ownership of his part in it, which is the right thing to do. And because his other option is to throw everyone else under the bus and he may need them for a job someday. This is what he's supposed to say, and good on him. But it isnt all on him. The coaches failed their players. -
Levi Wallce buried on depth chart; if he's cut...?
DrDawkinstein replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
He had an offer on the table that was pretty close to the Steelers before he saw he was wearing black & yellow shorts and made his decision. Had Beane not been jerked around by McKissic, he would have countered the Steelers offer and re-signed Wallace. Your idea he was "banished" is not accurate. -

Bills at jets monday opener ESPN/ABC on week 1
DrDawkinstein replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall
On one hand, as an out-of-towner, more Prime Time games means I dont have to buy any packages or even pirate games. And I do appreciate the Bills getting all the love and respect. On the other hand, Sunday 1pm is truly prime football time. Dont have to stay up late, not interrupting the week's routine, easier to get to games in-person. And my kid gets to see the games since it isnt past her bedtime like SNF/MNF/TNF. I prefer them all Sunday 1pm, but I wont complain about being one of the top teams people want to see on the national stage. Looking forward to crushing the Jets and ending all this offseason hype right away. -
Levi Wallce buried on depth chart; if he's cut...?

Nope, that is 100% on coaching. They are ultimately responsible. They dropped the ball multiple times in a matter of 13 seconds. -
Levi Wallce buried on depth chart; if he's cut...?

This is probably the highest assessment of Levi I've ever seen! And wouldnt you say that if he came in and competed and COULD take playing time away from them, then it would be better to have him around since he would therefore be an upgrade? -
Wasnt quite like that. https://www.si.com/xfl/2023/03/24/xfl-quinten-dormady-clears-air-accusation-leaked-plays-orlando-guardians

I dont expect this to be many folks cup of tea here, but Run the Jewels is doing a 10th anniversary "tour". Playing 4 nights in a row in each of NY, Chicago, Atlanta, and LA. Each night playing 1 of their 4 albums. I got tickets for the 1st and 4th Atlanta shows! Already sold out! https://pitchfork.com/news/run-the-jewels-announce-10th-anniversary-tour/

Should also note, if Beane hadnt been dicked around by McKissic, he wouldve absolutely re-signed Wallace. The main reason he was so pissed about how McKissic and the Commanders handled that. It not only cost us McKissic, but lost us Wallace along the way. -

DrDawkinstein replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
When did he have his touch? 🤣 Jokes aside, because I do believe part of Levi's "struggles" were based on how our Defensive system pushes the ball to the #2 option, I'd welcome him back for depth. He's a better CB5 option than Jamarcus Ingram or Kyler McMichael. Especially once the injury bugs start biting. White Elam (Johnson) Benford Dane Jackson Wallace (Lewis/Neal) Nice looking group imo. -
Classic, timeless, holds up. Without a doubt.

What does our O-Line look like now?
DrDawkinstein replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you think Beane was flat out lying to everyone and knew it? Or is it more the case of the right opportunity never presented itself, since there are a lot of moving parts to acquiring players? I'm still hoping for an addition with more cuts coming soon. 🤞 -
Muse is always great, and no different last night. Huge, loud, dynamic, electronic rock set. Hahaha, plenty of stuff at the show, but slammin those 'profen as soon as we get home.

Just got done with day 2. Been quite the weekend so far. One day left. I'm livin on Ibuprofen at this point...

With only $4500 in dead cap space if cut, I expect Mancz to be cut. -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
DrDawkinstein replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
My man, he was going to get paid like that all along. And I'm THRILLED for him. I called him silly/ill-advised/whatever for holding out on that huge bag over a larger, fully guaranteed number because I wanted him to just get paid. What I said all along was "Dude needs an agent who would tell him to take the regular deal, it's good enough". Ultimately he caved and took the standard, HUGE, regular good enough deal. Good for Lamar. He finally figured out to take the huge pile of money someone was trying to pay him. But when discussing the business side of things, Jackson gave a lesson on exactly what not to do. Took major risks, with both his body and his rep with team mates by having to sit out the playoff game when this should have been settled already. -

In the Cincy game, we werent so talent-deficient as much as gumption-deficient. Agreed with bullied off the field, but not because we couldnt punch back, just because we were too scared or tired to punch back. That's on coaching, imo. -
But then Brock pretty much came back full time.

These are GREAT! edit: I see they made the Colts' horse mascot... uh.. anatomically correct...

Beane: “working on at least 2 veteran UFA’s”

I dont think any of those moves are on Beane's radar. I believe it's today, or as of after today. -

We already signed the FA RB. I think he is just working on the DL/DT at this point.
