JoPo's message to Bills Mafia
DrDawkinstein replied to Toomstone.Part.Duex's topic in The Stadium Wall
And the big problem with Rachel is that with anyone else, Jordan could tell her to just live down in Miami all year and he'll go back and forth, but if you leave her alone for more than 2 days she goes and screws Antonio Brown behind his back again! -
Jordan Poyer Discussion - Does he stay?

wife, recovering substance issues (good for him tho 👍), anti-vax stance teams can be sensitive to any/all of this when forking over millions of dollars. -
Jordan Poyer Discussion - Does he stay?

He went from a backup on the 0-32 Browns to an All-pro earning $34M with the Bills. That's his big payday. Anything past that is icing on the cake to keep Rachel quiet. -
That and he absolutely doesnt want to retire in the same year as Brady.

No one is delaying this besides Aaron Rodgers. Everyone else involved wants this done with asap. Neither the Jets nor Packers can sign any other FAs right now until they get his contract moved and settled. They're all stuck waiting on him. And he loves it.

I wonder if Green Bay has an early-retirement offer of a pile of cash to retire and get free money, and he's mulling over whether to take the retirement package or the Jets offer. Because you are right, what could be taking so long? What is there to really decide on at this point? They arent even to that point yet tho, and reportedly arent negotiating on trade package until Rodgers makes his decision to officially allow the trade.

Yeah, it's just twit talk, likely all BS, but I like that bad mojo being put out there.

I mean, I cant blame these guys. Rodgers, Matt Ryan last year... These guys get $50M guaranteed each year just for showing up. Why stop showing up?!
-
Already rumblings that this delay isnt sitting well with vets in the Jets locker room. Shows a lack of commitment from Rodgers, and also preventing the Jets from signing other FAs. Not a great look to start with.
-
I know Rodgers will ultimately go to NY, but I'll happily watch him take his time because every day he waits is another day the Jets can't sign anyone else in FA.
-
I mean, Hackett just moved from Denver to the Jets so anything is possible at this point.

Which a lot of Chiefs fans arent too thrilled about outside of the excitement of making moves on day 1 of Tampering. I'm not a big PFF guy, but for some perspective and as they pointed out on ESPN yesterday: LOST Orlando Brown - 75.8 LOST Andrew Wylie - 63.1 ADDED Jawaan Taylor - 58.7 For what it's worth, they have McGovern at 52.2 But it seems both the Chiefs and Bills OL signings were fairly comparable. We just heard of one more because theyre a higher profile position.

@Simon, please save us from this title already

Not sure why you think it was that different. And if it really was, then that is even worse for Edmunds because Keuchly has far, far better pass defense numbers. Might have been a little different with different DCs, but it was largely the same role in the same scheme. I'm not happy Edmunds is gone. I think it will be a bigger hole to fill than most Bills fans are giving him credit for. But from what I've gone back and watched, he and Keuchly had the same or very similar jobs. Keuchly was just better all around. Whether defending passes, or attacking runners. Maybe it was the difference in skill that made it look like very different roles, haha.

Because we were $16M over the cap, and now we're about $16M under the cap. Just enough to sign a couple guys and our rookies. 🤷♂️
