That's how you want to interpret it. I think any coach would say their #1WR, Captain, and star player missing 1 day of practice is "very concerning". But really, to what extent? There is a TON of room on that spectrum. From mild coach-speak to hysterical panicking. Unfortunately, most fans choose hysterical panicking since they have nothing better to do.

Again, it's not about his own stats, or his money. That is all fine. What he was seemingly upset about was that when the Offense is sputtering, we can usually get it on track by going to Diggs a few times for some reliable, short gains (6-14 yards). But when we were in that situation multiple times last year, Dorsey and Josh all but completely ignored him. He is fine with winning and not getting any touches. He is ok with losing and the team giving their best effort. He is NOT fine with the team losing, looking flat and confused, and the coaches actively ignoring one of their biggest stat players.

Dont flatter yourself (although I'm sure that is lost on anyone who calls themselves Einstein) An Optimist says over and over that everything is great. A Pessimist says it's a big problem. A true realist simply adjusts their sails and keeps moving ahead. You may have had the homer part right, but that's not a realist take. Now, I lean a bit to the optimist side in saying that this will likely all be fine by the end of the week. You can have your pessimist rant about how bad this is.

It's not about quantity of targets. Never was. It's about relying on him when the team needs a spark the most. Find some ways to get him open underneath for short, but sure, gains. Instead, we were running the Dorsey Classic, which is 2 deep shots to Davis then take a sack on 3rd down by trying to go deep again, then punt.

I think it's mostly this. And a bit of McD being soft. At the MNF game, Diggs was the only player getting ready to re-take the field and pumping his teammates up before McD pulled the plug. At the Cincy playoff game, Diggs was one of maybe 3 players (Milano and kinda Edmunds) that showed up to play. I think he wants more fire from the coach. Plus a different Offensive philosophy. Again, totally guessing.
