  1. Diggs was there and will be there. He skipped out on 1 minicamp practice (so far). McD completely mishandled discussing it with the press. Bickering Bills. Super Bowl.
  2. The first 2 are not meltdowns. Although we could probably nitpick through that Texans game. The amount of non-communication and non-coaching that lead to the 13 seconds loss is a coaching meltdown. Allowing your team to show up and play so uninvested and disinterested is a coaching meltdown. While I understand, and even defended all the reasons, for the team to be exhausted in that Cincy game, it is still a coaching failure. As was the way the team was playing during the last 2/3rds of last season. Skating by on talent, in spite of subpar coaching.
  3. This is really all I'm saying. Thank you. Considering that's where he started his career, the analogy aint half bad...
  4. Same amount of Super Bowls Similar MO of melting down in the playoffs. No comparison is 1:1. You either understand the point I was using Lewis to (loosely) illustrate, or you end up on @Einstein's homer list!
  5. The point is more that the 13 seconds debacle is unacceptable and could have/should have gotten him fired.
  6. I mean, it was just an example to illustrate what sticking with a "good" coach will get you. There are probably better examples, and absolutely plenty of them. Its a common mistake. Will the Bills make it as well?
  7. The difference there is Josh Allen vs Andy Dalton. I'd say it would be even worse to not win a Champ with Josh Allen vs what Marvin Lewis was able to get out of Dalton. But single screenshots aside, Lewis was a great, defense-based, culture coach who players loved, but could never win in the playoffs. Starting to sound more and more familiar.
  8. I was in the threads after the Cincy playoff game listing ALL the reasons this team showed up exhausted and flat. It was even far more than just those injuries too. I get it. But the Bills were in trouble well before either of those. It was really since the Bye week. Not sure what happened at Josh's Halloween party (fire up another rumor mill!), but we went from motivated world-destroyers playing like our heads were on fire, to a bunch of guys just going through the motions. Sure, we won another 8 games or whatever. But barely. And they were mostly stinkers. I remember week after week, finishing the game with a win, but everyone feeling like it was a loss and wtf are we even doing out there, thank God we are so talented to push us to a win. THAT is a failure in coaching. Week after week of bad gameplans, no adjustments, and no corrections to mistakes players were making. Still won a lot, but in spite of coaching.
  9. I think the evidence is in him having to take over the Defense. Yes his seat is warm. Yes this is make or break for McD. 13 seconds is COMPLETELY on him. I dont care about what Levi Wallace said or anything else. The Head Coach failed to bring the team together during the MULTIPLE time outs and get the football 101 gameplan together. Last year, we were on a down slide from the Bye week, and McD never got a fire lit under the team. I'm not sure he is even CAPABLE of lighting fires under guys.
  10. Regardless of everything else in this thread, I largely agree with this.
  11. It would be a very 2000s Bengals thing to do to ride out a "culture" HC who is good enough to win regular season games but can never get it done in the playoffs with a top-3 roster. Him taking over DC was step one to saving his job. He is, and should be, on a short leash right now. Regular season wins are great, but the debacle in KC 2 years ago was inexcusable, football 101, and the team meltdown across the 2nd half of the season last year was all on the coaches as well. I'm not gathering the pitchforks or lighting the torches yet, but any good owner would have a close eye on McD this year.
  12. Also, Josh completely abandoning underneath/check down throws and coaching being unable or unwilling to fix it.
  13. Well it's definitely a make or break season for McD, and maybe he already let that stress slip through in today's presser...
  14. Technically correct. But there is an argument to be made that the Bills made the same mistake the Falcons did in retaining Quinn and letting Shanahan walk. It would have been a major coup, and not sure how the franchise would have weathered it. But after 13 seconds, firing McD and promoting Daboll is an interesting discussion.
  15. Who has censored you, you poor wittle victim? Where have your posts been disallowed?
  16. 1. Posting a non-embedded FACEBOOK link in your OP 2. Turning on Diggs That's 2 strikes in like 5 posts.
  17. I'd argue that with Pederson, he has a much better chance of being an OC, since they wont have to lean on him to call plays. Or at least have Pederson there to help when needed. With the Bills, our OC is pretty much on their own. Especially with McD double-dipping as HC and DC.
  18. He has a narrative he's going to shove down everyones throats so he has to make it make sense.
  19. Hoodie and sweats in Atlanta here too. That AC is just so CRISP!
  20. Then everyone stood and clapped. That officer's name: Albert Einstein But not our @Einstein, he's too busy taking high-level meetings in his BMW.
  21. Before you jump to publicly denigrate the poor girl based on some beef with your friends' gfs, try to use your critical thinking to understand the entire story was bull####.
