Sabres and Islanders would have 91 points. Sabres would have 42 wins, Islanders 41. But literally every resource online is in agreement that the Sabres have been eliminated?

I read that post to mean we would stay put in the 1st and grab a Center, then trade up in the 2nd for a LB. Agreed there is no Center in this draft worth trading up in the 1st for. No Nick Mangold, Pouncys, or even an Eric Wood. But some decent talent to grab at 27.

I'm big on bringing Girgensons back. He's a Sabre from the start. He is solid on D. He isnt that expensive. Young enough to have good years left. I'd like to see him sign another 3/$7M deal. While I appreciate what Okposo has done for the team, he's made his money, he's done his job, and I think we can bring up other Forwards to replace him. Plus he's almost 35.

It will be interesting to see which beloved young prospects get moved near trade deadlines in the future. We're bound to have to lose someone. I'd even be a little bummed about trading Mitts at this point.

Made it 80 games in and still in the hunt. A lot of entertaining hockey played. That's about all I could ask for from this young team. Future is bright. Especially with Levi looking decent. I'm a Whitehall guy, myself. Medlock is ok, but more a "family" atmosphere. We still bring our 4 year old to Whitehall tho. She was 3 when she attended last season's Ravens game at the bar and with the comeback win, fans jumping on tables, etc, she got as close to the hometown experience as she can down here. Havent tried Standard yet. I know @Royale with Cheese is a fan. But I've heard there arent a lot of TVs, especially lacking on the patio. You are correct about the cost. The only other Goalie we can play right now is Anderson. He is the only one who makes sense as the solid, consistent old man to get us through one game while the kid rests. Comrie or UPL is giving up the chance at the playoffs. But I'd still ride the kid until the wheels fall off. He's young. He can handle it.

Schedule comes out in May, right? Before June 6. I'll wait to see how many prime time games we get again. I'd assume at least 3, if not 4 again. If thats the case, I may just save my money since between those games and the couple where the Bills end up the National game, I'm already getting half the Bills season on TV. Couple that with bars being back full swing, and the Bills Backers Atlanta always being a fun time... It may be that I end up having to pirate 2-3 games, and the rest I can catch normally and for free. I can deal with that.

Shaq Lawson is always welcome on my team. Same thoughts here as with Jordan Phillips. Both of these guys bring a swagger to the team that no one else seems to. Glad they are back. Will be interesting to see how they fair in a more aggressive D with McD calling the shots.
