  1. Diggs, Milano, Edmunds were the only 3 that showed up ready to play playoff football. Who else you got?
  2. the going was tough DURING THE GAME. What you are referring to is after the "war" is already over and the guy just wants to go home. He bailed on no one. He was one of the only players leading the charge during the game, when it actually counted. Everyone else bailed on HIM. Josh included. The second that game clock hit :00 he's not beholden to anyone. The entire team should have been kicked out of the building immediately at that whistle for how they performed.
  3. He was the only player that was ready and willing to continue the game. Which would have been the right mindset to save the season. But the players are human to and the right thing to do was cancel. But it stood out that he was ready to go, and the only one ready to go. If you look back at our only possession, he was also one of the few Bills players ready to bring the heat to the Bengals like they were trying to bring to us. Going into contact hard after making a catch. Everyone else was flat. The game was over, the season was over, he left. What does everyone want him to do? Hang out and give everyone goodbye smooches for trying so hard during the first half of the season? There was nothing left to do or say at that point. I'd say the way he was 1 of only 2-3 players that actually showed up to play hard in that Bengals playoff game, the team bailed on HIM more than he bailed on the team after the game. Fans need to get over it. I'm sure the team has.
  4. Oof, great round for our rival.
  5. And also, what us worrying about any of them changes for anything
  6. Agreed on all accounts. Between this thread, the Josh/Britt thread, and the prior Diggs/Dallas threads, I've been ashamed of Bills fans all offseason.
  7. Seems reasonable 🤷‍♂️ Whatever.
  8. I've seen enough goodness out of JW over all the years here that I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I know there are a ton of new posters who dont have the same history with him, and also "hate the media", so I guess it's not surprising folks ran him off eventually. Bummer tho.
  9. Haha, I guess I did. The board is one thing. The way he does his job for AP is another tho. Unfortunate if the board finally drove off the best media contact we've ever had.
  10. JW is never that dramatic or inaccurate
  11. Not only made up, but absolute character slander. Diggs was a 5th round pick because he played for crappy Maryland. He went to Maryland, instead of taking the scholarship offers at schools such as Ohio State, Florida, USC, etc, because his father had just passed when he was 15, and he wanted to stay home and be there for his mom and brother since he had stepped into the "man of the house" role at such a young age. Had he ditched them and gone to a big school, he would have been playing with better talent and coaching, and been on the national stage on a weekly basis, and likely gone in the 1st round. But who knows what would have happened to Trevon being left alone at 13. Or when his mom needed someone to help out. Instead he stuck with his ethics and his responsibility to the people he loves. And now today, these absolute #######s dare to insult him while at the same time showing they know nothing about him. Disgusting. Bills "fans", do better. This fan base has gone straight to the shitter. Who knew the Mafia was so weak and fragile. Everyone needs to suck it up and move on from last year already. You're all making this not fun anymore.
  12. I would never take a RB in the 1st. Dont really care who it is. Giants picking Barkley was a mistake. For plenty of reasons, but also the one you point out.
  13. I mean, when you step outside the sportsmanship of the game, after the match, and physically attack someone... yeah, you deserve the cops called for assault. Same as some NHL players have been charged by local police for horribly violent and illegal hits/slashes. Same as Myles Garrett should have been charged for swinging that helmet at Rudolph. I dont see anything in the match that warranted the punch after except sore losing.
  14. Interesting. Going the Burrow/Chase or Tua/Waddle route. Surprised it took this long for the trend of keeping college team mates together to catch on. Seems like it would make a lot of sense. Especially with QB/WR chemistry. I've heard the Texans are sold on Stroud and are trying to trade out of the pick, but I think this might be their best plan, since tanking next year isn't guaranteed. And tough to ask of a brand new coach.
  15. He's better than Poyer was at this point of his career. He has football in his blood. Keep developing him. Will also be interested in seeing how the Safeties play with McD calling a more aggressive D. Absolutely no reason to cut bait right now when we have him so cheap for 2 more years. He was far better than Johnson who had a 2-3 year head start in the system. I think Hamlin playing next to Hyde or Poyer would look much better than he did last year. That secondary was so decimated with injuries we had dudes from the street starting at different points.
  16. Yeah, even players we "ran out of town" arent really despised like Eichel. Trying to think of players who dissed Buffalo while here or on their way out. I have no strong feelings against McGahee or Lynch. Other guys were just disappointing, not living up to their hype, but nothing to hate them about. Eichel was just such a dick on so many levels, and the way the team IMMEDIATELY flipped and became a whole new culture the second he was gone, really says something. Eat *****, Eichel.
  17. I believe dimes are rolled in $5 amounts. Could sell the rolls at a discount since it's all profit. 5 rolls for $20. Buyer makes $5, seller makes $20. Win win.
  18. What's the discussion supposed to be here besides just general outrage? Unfortunately, after wrestling for 6 years across my youth, I saw a small handful of similar instances across the many tournaments and meets I participated in. Usually not a straight punch, but a number of illegal, dangerous slams in the middle of a match when one of the wrestlers was frustrated leading to their disqualification, and in certain cases the police being called. Illegal and dangerous holds (changing a Head&Arm to more of a Head&Neck). Even saw one wrestler's older brother run onto the mat and attack the opponent for legally winning a tough match. Horrible every time, but it happens, unfortunately. We're just able to document it a lot more now thanks to phones and social media.
  19. This dude is the Canadian Steven A Smith. I dont need to be yelled at about your crappy team for 20 minutes, bro. Had this discussion last night... Is Jack Eichel the most hated player from Buffalo sports? I can't think of another player who came through Buffalo, across all sports, that is as disliked in Buffalo as Eichel. Heck, I cant think of another player who is disliked AT ALL. Is he our biggest homegrown villain?
  20. Ah, word. Fair enough question tho because there was some confusing talk of how we treated his contract after the injury. The news made it sound like we bought out his entire contract, but all the Bills did was agree to pay him his full salary instead of the half-salary they legally could have. Figured it was a good opp to clarify either way. Hey, save that for the Pegula prayer service.
  21. Only problem with trading out of the 1st is losing the 5th year option on whichever guy you wanted. What are we really going to gain by trading back, and who will be so eager to trade up? Maybe a 5th or 6th round pick? Not worth it, imo. If we can snag any OL, that 5th year option becomes very valuable. Dont like reaching, but it is what it is in a low talent draft class. Get your guy, keep the 5th year option, move on.
  22. He was never cut or bought out. He received his full pay for last year as opposed to injury pay, and is still on his original contract.
