  1. You had a good start. 👍
  2. Hoping we can have at least one of these mocks get us a IOL/Center in the 1st. 🤞 OL John Michael Schmitz met with the Buffalo Bills via Zoom Schmitz is widely regarded as the top center in this year’s draft class https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2023/4/23/23693242/ol-john-michael-schmitz-met-with-buffalo-bills-minnesota-golden-gophers
  3. It's a weird contract. Starting next year, and going for 3 years, each year is guaranteed as long as he is playing. But it is not 3 years fully guaranteed at signing. If they cut him before Feb 2024, they'd have like a $50M dead cap hit, but get out of the other 2 $50M years.
  4. Time for the Bills to re-sign Arthur Moats!
  5. That was just the highlights from last year. There are some classics that are real doozies.
  6. Yall would love Cart Narcs
  7. That's why I was saying both teams have leverage. The Jets have sold this move already and MUST get him. And GB is looking to move on from Rogers and his cap hit and MUST move him. It's down to whoever blinks first. Right now, I believe that cap hit being on GB's books is stopping them from making other moves that they want to make. That is probably the biggest incentive across both teams to get the deal done.
  8. Agreed on most of this. I dont find Sal that condescending as much as I sympathize that he has to deal with WGR Callers for a living, and they deserve whatever they get from the hosts. I'll give Joe and Nate some wiggle room. They are both VERY young, and new in their broadcast careers, so a lot of growing and improving left. I think we'll see them become pretty decent over the years.
  9. Looking at the ESPN+ article and seeing who was still available/went shortly after our pick, I'd rather have: 27. Brian Branch, S, Alabama 59. Luke Wypler, C, Ohio St 91. Jayden Reed, WR, MSU 130. Toss Up - Karl Brooks or Moro Ojomo, DT And then however they want to close out the last 2 picks with likely camp fodder. I like the best QB available idea.
  10. That's news to me. Not necassarily doubting it, but I hadnt heard him state that so clearly. If so, then the Jets have absolutely zero leverage, and GB can demand anything they want. The sticking point before was if GB doesn't move him, there's no reason for Rodgers to not show up and collect his $35M, and $50M fully guaranteed each year for the next 3 seasons.
  11. All true. But I wasnt necessarily saying we have to find 2 Safeties in this draft. Maybe they move Benford to Safety. But then that opens a hole at CB depth that needs to be filled. Hence another 5th-6th round DB. But agreed with your post.
  12. Both teams have plenty of leverage. Packers cant NOT move him at this point either. Hence why they have been at a stalemate.
  13. You aint wrong. They love gambling (and are paid well to talk about it by sponsors like FanDuel and DraftKings). And they love hockey, which is a product of the Bills pulling coverage a long time ago and giving the game broadcasts to 97Rock for a while. WGR stopped covering football for a while out of pettiness and spite, and was pretty much a hockey station (luckily for them that coincided with the Sabres being good in the 00s). On top of their own preference for the sport. They're still struggling with properly covering football even all these years later. Luckily the morning and daytime shows werent around for that, and have pretty decent football coverage.
  14. I'm not necessarily a fan of the picks, but for all the "too many DBs" folks - we need to replace 2 All-Pro Safeties asap. The ones we have are unlikely to make it through this season. I dont like the players at those picks, but dont be surprised when we go Safety early.
  15. WGR talks about Bills, Sabres, Fantasy Football, Gambling, and then anything else. They do not do "news around the league" unless its big news (like Rodgers to the Jets, and even then it's barely covered). Here in Atlanta its similar. But college sports dominate with UGA (and GATech, Ga State, etc), so you get some coverage of other college football teams, but only as it pertains to how it affects Georgia. Then it's Braves, United, Hawks, Falcons (almost in that order). Not a lot of talk outside of the local teams. That is pretty standard. It's all homer coverage in every city because most folks just want to hear about their hometown teams. And Atlanta is a VERY transient city with a lot of other allegiances. I do highly recommend that all local-Buffalo people get a taste of sports media outside of Buffalo. So they can hear that fans all over the country have the same concerns we do, also think their OL is horrible, etc. It was definitely an eye-opening experience that helped change my perspective on the following the team.
  16. Diggs, Milano, Edmunds were the only 3 that showed up ready to play playoff football. Who else you got?
  17. the going was tough DURING THE GAME. What you are referring to is after the "war" is already over and the guy just wants to go home. He bailed on no one. He was one of the only players leading the charge during the game, when it actually counted. Everyone else bailed on HIM. Josh included. The second that game clock hit :00 he's not beholden to anyone. The entire team should have been kicked out of the building immediately at that whistle for how they performed.
  18. He was the only player that was ready and willing to continue the game. Which would have been the right mindset to save the season. But the players are human to and the right thing to do was cancel. But it stood out that he was ready to go, and the only one ready to go. If you look back at our only possession, he was also one of the few Bills players ready to bring the heat to the Bengals like they were trying to bring to us. Going into contact hard after making a catch. Everyone else was flat. The game was over, the season was over, he left. What does everyone want him to do? Hang out and give everyone goodbye smooches for trying so hard during the first half of the season? There was nothing left to do or say at that point. I'd say the way he was 1 of only 2-3 players that actually showed up to play hard in that Bengals playoff game, the team bailed on HIM more than he bailed on the team after the game. Fans need to get over it. I'm sure the team has.
  19. Oof, great round for our rival.
  20. And also, what us worrying about any of them changes for anything
  21. Agreed on all accounts. Between this thread, the Josh/Britt thread, and the prior Diggs/Dallas threads, I've been ashamed of Bills fans all offseason.
  22. Seems reasonable 🤷‍♂️ Whatever.
  23. I've seen enough goodness out of JW over all the years here that I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I know there are a ton of new posters who dont have the same history with him, and also "hate the media", so I guess it's not surprising folks ran him off eventually. Bummer tho.
