  1. Yeah, I think that's how they played it last game. Makes sense. Yeah...
  2. Yeah it's certainly not ideal. Just the best of what we have to work with.
  3. Good point. Look at the strides Rousseau and AJE have taken since Von has been around. Fingers crossed.
  4. I like what we did last game with moving Poyer down to LB and Rapp at Safety. I think that combo gives us our best possible players at their best possible spots. Much better than Rapp or Dodson at LB.
  5. We get a 5th with Douglas. Cost us our 3rd.
  6. thanks for entertaining me during my slow work day, little thread. *pats thread on head* now look over there and watch the rabbits
  7. The Halloween classic! Same every year!
  8. I think that 3rd 6th is really a 7th. But yes, lots of Day 3 picks. Who wont make the team. But good ammo for Beane to trade up.
  9. I have to imagine between dealing with the Bears AND figuring out possible contract terms with the player/agent, this trade could take a while. But we're up against the clock now...
  10. I love Beane, but if the same guy who gave 33 year old Von Miller $120M wont throw in an extra 5th round pick to get a starting CB for this depleted Defense, then he and I got a beef.
  11. His child is safe for another day
  12. Ron Rivera living on borrowed time
  13. So you could say this troll has a... French Connection
  14. You pick up lots of bot followers when you only use twitter for porn. Not that I would know anything about that.
  15. We're at the point we have Josh Norman active and playing...
  16. That's a bummer. We could use him. Had the price about right for a 6th (plus some change)
  17. Which means trading for another WR is even a BIGGER waste Plenty to cover his salary this year. There will be lots of changes next year. Tre White, Poyer, Hyde, Morse, plus others will likely/could be gone and cap savings on each. It's #2 by committee. Kincaid is going to be the real #2 anyways. So we're really talking #3 and #4 WR. Shakir and Davis are good enough for that. Bringing in others isnt going to change much on Offense. If Dorsey and Josh can pull that off consistently, we'll be undefeated.
  18. Fair and accurate. The point was that the talks with Wallace fell apart because Beane focused on McKissic. Had McKissic not agreed, Beane would have used that money to match or beat Pitt's offer. Beane said it.
  19. Disagree. The talent is there. It's up to Dorsey and Allen to use them. As evidence by the performance of Davis, Shakir, and Kincaid last game. Any and all of those guys can and should be our #2. And #3. And #4.
  20. Johnson for Elam+2nd Wallace for a 6th. Still have 1, 3, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
  21. That was the McKissic/Commanders/Rivera drama with Beane and the Bills. Beane put his talks with Wallace on hold to try to get some Offensive help, and was working a deal with McKissic. When McKissic agreed, Beane slated that money for McKissic and dropped the Wallace talks and he got scooped by Pittsburgh. Then at the last second, McKissic's camp goes back to the Commanders FO who decide to match our offer, and McKissic decides to stay in Washington. Beane was PISSED. Angriest I've ever seen him at a presser, which isnt saying much, but seeing anything from him made it clear it was a big deal.
  22. I'd honestly be fine with getting both.
  23. The Bills leaking it to the media and then their local podcaster scene, with the threat of having to stay in Chicago, is great strategy for bringing his price down.
  24. And I guarantee it was a team that leaked that to the media
  25. I've seen a lot of people say this, and I get where you all are coming from. But the more I think about it every time I see it, I'm starting to think it really COULD be the difference. It's about defending the pass nowadays, we all know that. And adding a new #1 CB will make a much bigger difference than adding a #3. And if they can move the needle just a bit on a defense that has been performing well amidst our offensive struggles, then yeah, this could be a key piece to a championship.
