  1. For those keeping track: Rasul Douglas did play for the Panthers in 2020, keeping Beane's Carolina pipeline intact. The real answer to @Richard Noggin's question is: That will be some other team's problem because no way does White survive June 1st cuts.
  2. Agreed he was done the moment he got hit with that injury. Bummer. It still likely is job 1 even with this addition. I dont see any needs on Offense as glaring as the needs at CB and DT on Defense.
  3. He can only show if he's used like that again. Which mostly came from Knox being out and Gabe playing a WR/TE hybrid role instead of Dorsey just sending him deep for low percentage balls all the time. So Dorsey needs to utilize him and his skills instead of just wasting him. I'm confident there is enough talent on this Offense to give Josh a good #2 option. Even if that is "#2 by committee" with Kincaid, Davis, and Shakir. And I agree, Kincaid should and will take over the #2 spot soon enough.
  4. Much like the improvements we've seen in Rousseau and AJE since Von's arrival, I'm hoping Douglas's skills and leadership rub off on Elam. Could be exactly what the kid needs in the CB room. I also disagree we "obviously" tried to trade him. Nothing indicates that.
  5. Not sure if it's been posted, but here's the thread from r/NFL Comments are interesting. A LOT of upset Packers fans, and a lot of happy NFC North fans. Seems like at least on paper, the Bills won this trade.
  6. Too early, too much trick or treating and not enough coffee. Why did I think we played the Bears this year? 🤣 Thanks for catching that.
  7. He's already played the Broncos this year with the Packers. And now will play them again with the Bills.
  8. Yeah, I think that's how they played it last game. Makes sense. Yeah...
  9. Yeah it's certainly not ideal. Just the best of what we have to work with.
  10. Good point. Look at the strides Rousseau and AJE have taken since Von has been around. Fingers crossed.
  11. I like what we did last game with moving Poyer down to LB and Rapp at Safety. I think that combo gives us our best possible players at their best possible spots. Much better than Rapp or Dodson at LB.
  12. We get a 5th with Douglas. Cost us our 3rd.
  13. thanks for entertaining me during my slow work day, little thread. *pats thread on head* now look over there and watch the rabbits
  14. The Halloween classic! Same every year!
  15. I think that 3rd 6th is really a 7th. But yes, lots of Day 3 picks. Who wont make the team. But good ammo for Beane to trade up.
  16. I have to imagine between dealing with the Bears AND figuring out possible contract terms with the player/agent, this trade could take a while. But we're up against the clock now...
  17. I love Beane, but if the same guy who gave 33 year old Von Miller $120M wont throw in an extra 5th round pick to get a starting CB for this depleted Defense, then he and I got a beef.
  18. His child is safe for another day
  19. Ron Rivera living on borrowed time
  20. So you could say this troll has a... French Connection
  21. You pick up lots of bot followers when you only use twitter for porn. Not that I would know anything about that.
  22. We're at the point we have Josh Norman active and playing...
  23. That's a bummer. We could use him. Had the price about right for a 6th (plus some change)
  24. Which means trading for another WR is even a BIGGER waste Plenty to cover his salary this year. There will be lots of changes next year. Tre White, Poyer, Hyde, Morse, plus others will likely/could be gone and cap savings on each. It's #2 by committee. Kincaid is going to be the real #2 anyways. So we're really talking #3 and #4 WR. Shakir and Davis are good enough for that. Bringing in others isnt going to change much on Offense. If Dorsey and Josh can pull that off consistently, we'll be undefeated.
  25. Fair and accurate. The point was that the talks with Wallace fell apart because Beane focused on McKissic. Had McKissic not agreed, Beane would have used that money to match or beat Pitt's offer. Beane said it.
