Right. I think there are a couple other threads on it, but a lot depends on how Sunday goes with the Chiefs. We win and we stay in the hunt for #1. We lose, and we can kick it into cruise control and focus on keeping people healthy for the playoffs. Not that I think Josh, McD, and the boys would dial it back that much. I'm sure they'll try to win every game possible at least until that last week. But with the history of that turf in Detroit, I'm good with throwing in the Practice Squad if we're in that position.

There is no playoff doom with the current state of the rest of the division. Even if we lose the next 4 in a row, we win the 2 Pats and the Jets game and Div is still ours. Heck, it might be ours during those 4 losses! I think the biggest issue the team will face will be when do we start resting guys without it being too much time off.

Bruh, Terry isnt listening to fans on his HC hire. There is no leverage. And frankly, rightfully so. As much as I question certain things (and often McD), I'd feel even worse about the future of the team if Pegula was like "People werent buying PSLs so I fired McD!"

Seems to be what happens when Josh is trying too hard to compensate for WRs. Reminded me of the Texans game when he wanted to show the world (*cough* DIGGS *cough*) that he didnt need top WRs. Then today he seemed to be trying to hard to make up for the lack of WRs. Taking chances with arm arrogance and making bad decisions. I'll take the win, and hope we clean it up.

It was a pretty big deal and discusssed in depth on the board here. He says they were defending the sideline to prevent a FG. I guess he stopped the FG, so mission accomplished? I didnt hear about the consulting firm until 2017. The Ryan hire was supposedly all Terry, Russ Brandon, Doug Whaley. With Rex being Russ's guy and Whaley being talked into it... He literally said as much in his sideline interview immediately following that play headed into the locker room. They were defending the sideline and Rodgers went with the Hail Mary that they werent ready for. How many Hail Marys have been thrown? How many actually ever connect? The term "Hail Mary" is synonymous with a low-percentage desperation play. But McDermott has a couple famous ones against him already. It's a problem. And it's his problem to fix. Sorry man, but this is getting into levels of delusion with some of this infallible McDermott worship among Bills fans.

A Belichick disciple who, more than once, has beaten BB at his own tricks with pushing the limits to the rules of the game. I'd even gauge his level of interest in keeping Joe Brady at OC. Outside of Vrabel, any of the hot OCs, Ben Johnson, Bobby Slowick, whoever. Lazard is 6'5". Look up the height of everyone else the Bills had out. Should have had a couple of tall WRs back there. I'm not the first person to make up that strategy. It's a pretty common move. Common for everyone but McD who was surprised by this play as he admitted in his sideline interview going into the locker room at half.
