  1. haha, bud, you can change it. just go reclick on it.
  2. Oh sure, money was and always is the biggest factor. But there are nuances and variables in every negotiation, and I think Smith's documented stiff-arming of the Bears during those negotiations was a pretty good indicator of his chances of re-signing no matter what offer they made. You dont refer the team to... *checks notes*... non-certified agent and Instagram mysterioso Saint Omni.. if you are serious about ever returning. Agree the rest of the way on Tremaine and the Bears FO.
  3. I think the issue with signing Roquan was that Roquan had already been in the building for 4 years, knew exactly what a shitshow the club is, and was making it very difficult to re-sign him on purpose because he simply didnt want to be in Chicago anymore. Easier for them to let Roquan walk at that point, and go "trick" another FA who isnt familiar into signing with that garbage team.
  4. This has been a thing across their fanbase on any media from Milano being the one who knocked Tua out since he was the one who contacted Tua, making him fall to the ground and get concussed. Somehow that is Milano being a cheap, dirty player. They're just grasping at anything to hate us on, and it would normally be laughable. But you are right, it has gotten weirdly aggressive and hostile.
  5. Absolutely. Especially for us out-of-towners. Being nationally relevant again is such a great feeling. Being down here in Atlanta and hearing my toddler yell out "I SEE JOSH!" whenever one of his commercials pops up warms my heart.
  6. To me, it isnt about Edmunds specifically or personally. Like I mentioned up-thread, his entire situation is a great case study in drafting, development, defensive schemes, player talent, contract structuring, and team building. Take his name out and I'd still be interested in discussing it due to all of those relevant topics. For those of us that like the FO/GM side of the NFL as much as we like the games, he gives us plenty to talk about. And in no way am I bagging on him, nor propping him up for that matter. When you have a front row seat to a young, high-potential, physical anomaly specimen coming into and navigating a career in the NFL, some fans are going to want to discuss it all the way through. If that offends you, no one will make you participate in the discussions. Go Bills! 👍
  7. Of course it is
  8. Folks, this is fake/planned/commercial. It shouldnt even be a question. Cmon. Josh doesnt really put wing sauce in his Pepsi©
  9. THAT will turn things around!
  10. Dude is in every commercial, everywhere. There is no escape.
  11. lol, JT O'Sullivan aint touching this one.
  12. Git r Dun, Brandon! He's only 31. That's pretty young for DTs. Should have 2-4 years left if all goes well. 🤞
  13. It was still only like 2 feet. I get your point, but on a play like that, I dont care what we put on tape. For the "tush push", McD should be able to send an email to the opposing coach during the week saying "Hey, when we get in Down and Less than a Yard, this is what we are going to run, and you wont be able to stop it". And then we go out there and do just that. Philly does it. They did it last night. And when it was finally stopped once, they went right back to it a 2nd time because you arent stopping these guys from gaining 3 feet. This is the area of football that good teams simplify and do best. Meat on meat. All we need is a couple feet, and all our guys are over 6 feet tall. Go get it.
  14. Even though Dabol wasnt perfect I think his overall personality and demeanor is way better for Josh than Dorsey's psycho-frenetic energy. Edge to Dabol on gameplans and playcalls. Big edge on the identity he brings to the Offense.
  15. How many do you have?
  16. When I promote someone to manager/leader, I expect them to perform the duties of leading the team, making sure they have what they need to succeed, etc. I do NOT want them actually doing their old job. If they are, they are failing in getting their team members coached up. Most recently, I had to work for 6 months with a newly promoted Tech Support manager who couldn't help herself from going into her team's tickets and resolving them herself. Sure, she could knock out all the tickets in an hour, and it would take her 5 hours to show everyone how to do it themselves properly. But that is her job. Coaching, not doing. IMO, head coaches have plenty on their plate. They shouldn't be calling plays. However, I'd be willing to change that perspective on HCs who have been in place a long time and their culture and "process" should be running on its own.
  17. Finally had the time to go back and watch this video. WOW. This kid is all over the field, and I agree with Erik - he is HUNTING. If this isnt just a fluke or beginner's luck, we really struck gold here because this kid's "instincts" jump off the screen. (I agree with Erik that "instincts" discounts a lot of the work the player puts in, but it fits)
  18. Still a sick burn all the way back on page 2
  19. How is "blitz" defined here? Is it "rushing more than 4"? Or "rushing anyone other than DL?" I ask, because on Epenesa's pick-6, we rushed 4 but Epenesa was dropped back deep into coverage. We sent Milano in his place. Still only rushed 4. What's that then?
  20. Folks, use the twitter.com url to embed, not x.com
  21. With the memories stored in Rich Stadium, it's inevitable that I don't miss that place. But I dont think it will be due to any failing of the new stadium. Just the great times in the old spot.
  22. Being the last team with the ball before halftime and scoring anything, even a field goal, is the way good teams win games. Classic Patriots. Happy to see the Bills start doing it too.
  23. Great points. I'd also add that between Josh's deep ball ability and running ability, teams play us differently. They keep Safeties deep to prevent the deep plays, and that allows them to keep the catches in front of them and come up and make the tackle. Also, teams keep an LB around to spy on Josh, so you get an extra tackler roaming around the short middle. Free to slide to where the ball is going and help make the tackle. All in all, not a problem.
