  1. Was waiting for this thread to get bumped today since it seemed like we got off that schneid yesterday
  2. I'm an 80s kid, but was raised right
  3. Eh, give that 2014 team Josh Allen and we're making a run at the Super Bowl too. That was a Beane>Grier post
  4. Imagine trading a 1st round pick and signing Bradley Chubb to 5/$110M, and then the Bills go out and sign Leonard Floyd in FA for $7M. Life is good.
  5. I was surprised they abandoned the run as well. Especially considering those RBs can rip off big chunk gains that mimic a high-power passing game.
  6. I get that during the season NFL coverage is largely (over)reactionary and bombastic since it is all really just marketing for the NFL. But I cannot believe how deep folks, who should all know better, fully bought into the Dolphins as a team that was regularly going to score 40+, 50+ points a game. In the NFL! Like, WTF are they thinking. Anyone with half a functioning brain saw that Denver game and could clearly see the Broncos lay down and stop tackling. It blows my mind that people who have been around football for decades are somehow surprised the Dolphins came back down to Earth (and got buried in it). I guess folks just love South Beach, and any possibility of going there to cover the team.
  7. I love Taron, but I'd think of it as more of a Heavy Nickel. Not that Taron can't handle it, but spreading some snaps around might be a smart idea with the way guys were getting dinged.
  8. Don't have one and in fairness, they have been purposely tight-lipped about his actually status, so I may have been a bit too strong in my statements. But I remember that "expiring contract" talk as well, and it was debunked, at least at the time... edit: here's another link: https://www.wxxinews.org/local-news/2023-02-28/bills-dc-frazier-taking-a-year-off-plans-to-return-in-2024
  9. Frazier is definitely still under contract with the Bills. Has not been officially fired and he has not retired. If he ever wants to come back to the NFL, we control that.
  10. For the record, I am not a believer in Tua at all, and hope the Dolphins get stuck setting the QB market with him this offseason. 5 more years of wins for us.
  11. Love Poyer and what he's done for this team, but if he has to wait until December to really turn on his A-game there will be a chance that Rapp unseats him for the starting spot by then. Younger, healthier legs sure seem to make a difference back there.
  12. There was no problem. Miami focused on shutting him down. How'd that work out for them overall? Can't have everyone with HoF stat days. If teams focusing on Cook allow us to score 48 points otherwise, so be it. Just the way this game went.
  13. And for 2 (maybe 3?) weeks in a row, they've cut to him on the sidelines, cutting it up with Diggs and Davis and Milano. Never saw that from the other guy. Love seeing the youngster crossing over and bringing the entire team together.
  14. Oh, let me clarify: Our in-home superstitions absolutely matter. My lucky blue underwear knows this as well. My statement was specific to this board
  15. As a Dolphins fan said on their board "Tua is great from 20 yard line to 20 yard line". But then what... He can get yards, but without those big, explosive plays, he cant get it done.
  16. Love it. He's been carrying receivers deep downfield all year. Kid just gets it, and has the speed to do it. Exactly the type of play we were waiting to see from that other guy. If you arent getting the picks yourself, at least get in the lane to make the QB overthrow. Finally seeing it happen.
  17. Just ignore it and it will hopefulyl go away None of the Bills are here. This may come as a surprise to some of us, myself included, but nothing we do here actually affects anything with the team.
  18. I dont remember exactly when in the game that catch and run by Cook happened, but it sure felt like a nail in the coffin. Like, the one time they do get a pressure on Josh we turn it into a huge play. Any wind that was left in their sails blew right out. My favorite moment in the game was after our last TD, and they showed our sideline celebrating, and then cut to the Dolphins bench and showed their players sitting there in stunned, disappointed stupor. Reminded me of the "Let it Snow" game when they showed Ray Lucas crying on the bench and Ricky Williams quitting and heading to the locker room. I like beating the Dolphins. I love destroying their spirits. It;s not on the docket for today, but maybe later in the week.
  19. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of Teal in Highmark yesterday. Especially after Green Bay had to issue a statement about the number of Lions fans at Lambeau last week. Good time to travel to Buffalo, the Dolphins were hyped, and yet it looked to have less Miami fans than even past years when the Dolphins stunk. That said, I want Bills fans to PACK THAT STADIUM in January.
  20. Lot of good stuff in this video.
  21. Love seeing this "boring" Josh and the methodical, surgical execution by our Offense. Kudos to Dorsey (and likely Brady and McD) for doing the hardest part: calming down. More so than play-calling or game-planning (which have been good), bringing the anxiety down has been the biggest improvement in this offense, imo.
  22. Von's out, Poyer's out, Benford got dinged, Tre went down. Every team has injuries.
  23. Probably not the whole reason, but it's a thing. Personally, I think he's done coaching. But if an opportunity presents itself and he does come back, we have his rights.
