  1. Let me ask you this: Say holcomb starts and leads us to the playoffs. We get beat in the wild card. Do you consider this season a failure then? The NFL is about winning right now. It's not about rebuilding. You do what you have to do to win NOW. We've been rebuilding for six years it seems like. I want to see wins now, at any cost. I say screw JP Losman this year if holcomb is playing well and winning games. Thats an easy choice. If Holcomb sucks, and he might, then put JP back in.
  2. We are 1-3 right now. Damn right I can accept a bandaid at the QB position, at least for a one week tryout. If we win this weekend, maybe he gets another start next week. If not, then put JP back in. This isnt hard to figure out. The coaches think (as well as a lot of players, i'm sure) that Kelly gives us the best chance to win this weekend. Period.
  3. Your myopic ilk is playing like billy joe hobert. But we should totally keep him in there. JP is the future, right joe? JP has proved he deserves playing time. I'll always have a special place in my heart for that one touchdown that he threw. Or the way he led us down the field with a minute left against the bucs. Holcombs starting this week big guy. Deal with it.
  4. That would be the most uninspiring sight so far this year. Even worse then the o-line play.
  5. I think it would have been interesting to be in your presence during the super bowl losses.
  6. No lady, I was calling you the pessimist of the YEAR. Thats much more special than just any old pessimist. Go back and read all your recent posts, they're overflowing with negativity. I would like to see JP succeed as well, but after four games, guess what? Its obvious that he isnt going to take us to the playoffs. This my friend, you can tell after four games. So rather than throw in the towel, start a veteran and see if he can do any better. Maybe we win a couple here and get back to 3-3. The moment we are out of the playoff race, stick JP back in for the rest of the year. I love the Bills and refuse to give up on the season after four games. If this means stalling the development of JP Losman, I could care less. I want to see the BILLS WIN. JP has done nothing to show me we should just hand over the reigns on the entire season to him. We should make a move while we're still alive for the playoffs, and thats what we are doing.
  7. Great post, Coach. My thoughts exactly!
  8. You're so high on JP Losman you cant stand it, can you? Have fun watching Holcomb this weekend, buddy. Then again, you'd probably have more fun watching JP going 6-20, 68 yds and an INT. And if your going to call someone an idiot, at least capitalize the "I" at the beginning of a one line sentence. Joe Six Pack for pessimist of the year on TBD.
  9. The point is TD is probably starting to feel the heat. If he lets JP ruin this year by "developing" as a quarterback, then we go 4-12 and TD has another gem to put on his resume. If we do that bad, chances are he gets canned. He knows he needs to win now, and Mularkey isn't going to win over anyone winning four games either.
  10. Rooting for your favorite team to fail? You should try and stay positive about this. Its best for the team, and heck, someone besides Josh Reed might catch a pass this week. Go Holcomb!
  11. I'm not watching the game, but I looked at the stats, and if JP had stats like those I'd be a very happy guy right now. I'm on yourside though, just upset at the way things have panned out so far.
  12. except that bledsoe didnt crap the bed, he's had a solid game. Although he doesnt have any td's to offensive lineman this year, so JP's got that on him.
  13. JP Losman in Dallas has a rushing touchdown this season. He also has 6 touchdown passes.
  14. If so, then we've still got like another decade before we reach the postseason.
  15. You've pinpointed it. Now hopefully management, coaching, ownership, players, concession workers, anybody...... can do something about it.
  16. Good call, and I forgot about Marcus Vick being available, although his past makes me a little nervous (see travis henry). Someone like Reggie just strikes me as a talent that rivals the likes of Ladanian Tomlinson. I'm sure willis would hold out for a trade if we did something like that though.
  17. Wasn't JP supposed to have the rocket arm and accuracy of Brett Favre?
  18. He's from Pittsburgh? Tom Donahoe hired him?
  19. Same for me. That was an exciting time and we were very competitive and up to par with the elite teams in the league. Does flutie still play?
  20. Seriously though, if we have a shot at Leinart or Reggie Bush, shouldn't we jump at them? Especially a player as dynamic as Bush. You dont see some one like that come around very often.
  21. Exactly. If this keeps up he'll be gone as soon as he gets the chance. Unbelievable play calling.
  22. I paid 70 dollars for a JP jersey. He cant pass for more than 70 yards a game. Any correlation here?
  23. JP is as special as a dump.
