Sessions met with Russian envoy twice last year, encounters he later did not disclose Then-Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) spoke twice last year with Russia’s ambassador to the United States, Justice Department officials said, encounters he did not disclose when asked about possible contacts between members of President Trump’s campaign and representatives of Moscow during Sessions’s confirmation hearing to become attorney general. One of the meetings was a private conversation between Sessions and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak that took place in September in the senator’s office, at the height of what U.S. intelligence officials say was a Russian cyber campaign to upend the U.S. presidential race. The previously undisclosed discussions could fuel new congressional calls for the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Russia’s alleged role in the 2016 presidential election. As attorney general, Sessions oversees the Justice Department and the FBI, which have been leading investigations into Russian meddling and any links to Trump’s associates. He has so far resisted calls to recuse himself. When Sessions spoke with Kislyak in July and September, the senator was a senior member of the influential Armed Services Committee as well as one of Trump’s top foreign policy advisers. Sessions played a prominent role supporting Trump on the stump after formally joining the campaign in February 2016. At his Jan. 10 Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing, Sessions was asked by Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) what he would do if he learned of any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of the 2016 campaign. “I’m not aware of any of those activities,” he responded. He added: “I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I did not have communications with the Russians.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/sessions-spoke-twice-with-russian-ambassador-during-trumps-presidential-campaign-justice-officials-say/2017/03/01/77205eda-feac-11e6-99b4-9e613afeb09f_story.html?utm_term=.b16bfe7983d5 these guys are so fkd the intelligence community is starting to release these damning bits of information now with regularity. other reports indicate theres a LOT more where that came from ten months, actually nine months now, is my prediction when republicans will officially turn on the don. might not even take that long edit: god i did it again and posted a link to these forums instead of the story. whytf do i keep doing that? at least you guys didnt notice this time

again, another simplistic worldview that is childlike in its utter lack of knowledge and perspective, aka a millennials viewpoint yes, that sure would make life a lot easier wouldnt it? is that the objective, to make all life as easy as possible? is there any consideration at all for WHAT WE WOULD LOSE if we only cared about making life as easy as possible in all ways? what would we be sacrificing if we erased all race references everywhere? have you even thought about that at all? we would lose an enormously valuable resource we have available to us if we just stop fkg it up so badly. millennials like to tout multiculturalism so much, then turn around and posit stupid premises like this one. what we would lose are the tremendously invaluable subtle differences in life perspective that the profound gifts of racial differences gives us. if we tried to homogenize all race elements it would be like destroying huge tracts of the rain forest or poisoning trillions of cubic feet of the deep ocean. we would be sabotaging our own existence as human beings by destroying a precious commodity that we get for free if we apply it correctly you need to be a little embarrassed by your question, just enough to spur you to go buy the books from the authors i mentioned. i can recommend many others. another way is just to go to a big bookstore and find the section on race issues and start browsing - but be careful bc theres a lot of bullѕhit in there that will lead you right back to the crap position you currently are in, the crap position that has got us into this new mess weve created of neoracism. if it starts sounding like stuff you believe now, drop it like its on fire and try another book -

your definition of racism is horribly broken. youre not alone, you picked it up by listening to popular culture, which could not be more wrong in how it defines racism. i dont even have to look for your age and i can tell you identify with the millennial culture bc thats where this thoroughly broken definition resides and gets its evil life thats why i keep urging you to start reading, bc you are so blatantly ignorant of the vital issues on this topic. ignorance doesnt mean stupid, it means you just dont know. like a child that doesnt know how to tie their shoes yet, they arent dumb they just havent learned that part of life yet. thats you and the topic of 'racism'. you are simply not knowledgeable and dont realize what you dont know there. is. no. racism. in. anything. i. ever. say. you will find that odd, perhaps even funny. but it is a fact. i am not racist, i hold no racist views, and i have dedicated my life to help lift people of color up where they needed it throughout my existence. i MARRIED A FKG BLACK WOMAN for gods sake. not to mention all the volunteer work ive done over the years. and of course the deep and emotionally intimate relationships ive had with many black folks over the years, including right now as we speak. so your statements that i could possibly be espousing racist views are childish in their naive simplicity. please just abandon that tack bc it will get you nowhere your definition of racism is just flat out broken and you desperately need to re-educate yourself. i suggest you start with the books by taleeb starkes (a black man), jesse lee peterson (a black man), and thomas sowell (a fkg super brilliant black man) -

ok well im just going to tell you that if you continue to address me in this manner you wont get many more replies from me. but i will address this issue and hope you can amend your ways to not accuse me of things im not doing no, i absolutely did not say a race is a separate culture that cannont be integrated. idk where you even came up with that, seems like you pulled that straight out of your ass. i just hope youre not trying to use the classic neoracist technique of adding bad stuff onto what i said bc if you are you will definitely be completely ignored by me. so either retract this or reference it back to something i actually said i absolutely did not say that a person with darker skin cant experience the same life as someone with lighter skin. that is so out of bounds of reality that you obviously projected your own thoughts into what i said. i am legitimately offended at your assumption and categorically reject what you are trying to pin on me. you better cease and desist all that kind of total bullѕhit right now or you can just forget about getting any dialog with me finally, mlks objective absolutely for sure was not to create a culture ignorant of race. i can immediately tell that you have not actually read his works yourself or you would know this. he rightfully celebrates the uniqueness of all races and encourages dialog among the races to explore these differences and make constructive use of the variations we find there. of course his message is indeed that we are all essentially the same, that we are brothers and sisters as gods children, and that we should manifest that brotherhood in creating the beloved community. but at no time does that mean we should ever create a culture ignorant of race. that is YOUR projection. you need to go find some of his books and start reading -

i dont understand. please elaborate. theres very few things i ever disagreed with mlk on during my extensive research on him and his message. i can tell you what they are, if youre interested. but i need to know more about what you are referencing here no, the current liberal talking point is that its racist to ignore race - except of course those instances where they say its appropriate to ignore race and racist if you dont ignore race its like the myriad of black campus organizations demanding to not be treated differently bc they are black - and then immediately turning around and demanding all kinds of special rules bc they are black or else they will retaliate against the school -
thats just what he does. i recommend the mental ignore feature

it doesnt have to be bad experiences a chinese person growing up in the far east has completely different perspectives on similar life experience of someone from the west. those are extremely valuable delineations that can teach us enormous vital lessons about human nature and the human experience. this of course applies to all races and cultures and socio-economic backgrounds we get none of that value if we pretend in some bizarre dysfunctional standard that races dont matter and should be ignored -

Meathead replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
this is a technique that the neo-racists (most blacks and enabling whites) use ALL THE TIME they take what you said, they ADD bad stuff on top of it, they pretend that YOU said those bad things, and then they hold those bad things against you example: "We have a cultural problem with the routine use and acceptance of excessive violence in blackness (a true statement)." "Oh so you think all black people are violent, huh?" the obvious reason they do this is for control. once they have branded you with statements you did not make, they can then tell themselves and others that they dont have to listen to anything you have to say bc obviously you are the racist here, in essence controlling the narrative not only for them but for you as well. they have turned their own racism (the assumption that whites are automatically guilty bc they are more naturally racist and therefore inferior) into an accusation of racism against you that usually sticks with most ppl who havent thought it through and thus you get branded. it squelches all legitimate dialog and allows them to claim moral superiority and ignore their own racist bias which of course is exactly what tasker is doing here -
it was incredible his rookie year watching all those balls flutter like a butterfly right into his hands. ppl say yeah but he has great positioning. yeah, my mom could position herself on the sideline and catch balls that dropped right into her hands like those ones did. he parlayed that into a rep that he could exploit, and then never even sniffed that kind of pick production again. something about butterflies drying up

Wow I agree with the fraud chef again. Mental ignore filter lowered The term is ignorant. He's throwing it around like he knows what it means but he obviously doesn't. Either that or he's pulling a Donald by accusing others of exactly what his own problem is. Of all the people in the world that are not ignorant about race issues that would be me. Hes a pretty classic archetype of white people who think they know what they're talking about but they absolutely do not . It's very damaging to the cause . They desperately need to educate themselves but in my experience people like that rarely do. They just cling to their outdated and destructive narrative and make no effort to try to expand their mind. it's a big problem on this topic -
Agreed. I don't know if this guy had any priors or not but it wasn't reported that he did and if not it just seems pretty highly excessive for some idiot who got drunk and threatened some people but never did anything. I don't have any problem with jail time, he deserves it, but 13 years just seems like too much

Georgia couple gets prison for racist threats at child's birthday party (CNN)A Georgia couple who rode with a Confederate flag-waving group that made armed threats against African-Americans at a child's birthday party were sentenced to prison Monday. Jose "Joe" Torres, was sentenced to 20 years, with 13 years in prison, after a jury convicted him on three counts of aggravated assault, one count of making terroristic threats and one count of violating of Georgia's Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. Kayla Norton was sentenced to 15 years, with six years in prison. She was convicted on one count of making terroristic threats and one count of violation of the Street Gang Act. On July 25, 2015, Torres and Norton, joined about a dozen other people in a convoy of pickup trucks waving large Confederate flags as they drove around Douglas County, a suburban Atlanta community. Most of them belonged to a group called "Respect the Flag." "The convoy of trucks passed by the victim's residence where the victims were grilling hot dogs and hamburgers while hosting a child's birthday party featuring a bouncy castle, snow-cone machines, and a DJ," the district attorney's office posted on its official Facebook page. The drivers parked the trucks near the house, prosecutors said. Torres was part of a smaller group that "threatened to kill the party goers while repeatedly using derogatory racial slurs against them," said the statement. "Torres, who had retrieved a shotgun from his vehicle, pointed his shotgun at the group of African American party-goers and stated he was going to kill them while his co-defendants stated that 'the little ones can get one too,' referring to the young children at the party," the statement said. http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/27/us/georgia-couple-confederate-flags-threats/ ok, first of all its great that scum like this gets punished for this kind of behavior. no question but twenty years, with thirteen years in prison? really?? seems highly excessive for an incident where no shots were fired, nobody was hurt at all. many violent crime convictions where ppl were actually badly hurt are often far less than that do we have any real lawyers in the house? how do they justify that kind of sentence? seems pretty easily out of line with the offense, as bad as it was btw, what does twenty year with thirteen in prison mean? whats the extra seven years for, how does it get served?

to many ppl in here and across america im sure it would be, but no of course not but now that you mention it, pretty sad to think what happened to jimmy the greek. he gets a couple glasses of wine in him, his tongue gets a little loose, and he tells the truth to the wrong person at the wrong time fact is, breeding of slaves was done specifically to do what breeding is always done for, to increase the desirable traits of the offspring. in the case of black slaves, it obviously was to maximize their physical characteristics. so its no surprise at all that blacks have dominated most professional sports way beyond their representation in the population. we can actually see the diminishing effects of this today, just a couple decades ago blacks absolutely dominated sports like basketball and football, but as the gene pool continued to be more and more diluted we see a higher percentage of other races becoming more prominent none of this reality of course helped poor old jimmy. a man who never showed an ounce of racism his entire life is left to die in disgrace. all for saying something that actually was completely true thats bc you are a fool -

you seriously have become too dumb to reply to, so unless you come up with something new and/or valuable dont expect many from here on out but for those playing along at home, this poster said yet another dumbass thing, this time about me im the guy that was on mayor johnsons task force for racial harmony, twice. im the guy that volunteered many times to help black folks many ways, im the guy that married a black woman so why dont you tell all the nice folks at home where you pulled that statement from that i dont treat black folks the same as everybody else? and the answer is: your ass. its also why you wont be getting many replies from me bc homey dont play that kind of bullѕhit race is a valuable element of our existence bc it brings lessons and perspectives from many different evolutionary cultures. bc the human condition is basically the same across all lines of demarcation, its basically saying the same thing describing the same general experiences in a different sort of language. this is why the race disparity is a gift from the universe, a gift that all humans can greatly benefit from if we apply it correctly the problem is we are NOT applying it correctly. if we were we would be able to talk openly and honestly with each other, without getting furiously outraged every freakin time, and together learn valuable things as a result. i do that all the freaking time with my black associates, i always have, and i have never had any problem getting most black folks to love me and partner with me. ignoring that kind of tremendous resource simply bc we are too petty to not create stupid ass culture wars would be asininely dumb by claiming that you dont see color and that would be the optimal way to approach this, you are devaluing the contributions that all cultures bring us. its profoundly stupid to throw that baby out with the bath water just bc you cant imagine there is any other way. the way, of course, is the true botherhood that prophets like mlk and his disciples like me actively promote at every turn. thats the answer right there, not some stupid dumbass idea about just ignoring everybodys race -
agreed todays united states has more medical resources per capita than any civilization in human history. those resources should be used to address the hc needs of the entire population, and its immoral that we instead play political games to determine who gets to be healthy, who gets to be sick, and who we sacrifice for our political side to win btw, ive read the rest of what everyone posted and theres nothing in there worth replying to bc its all partisan spinning. i know exactly what happened bc i paid close attention, and i stand by what i said

sorry but your point is stupid. as i have explained over and over and over again here and you shouldnt quote mlk when you have no fkg idea what youre talking about not seeing race is supid. races are vital and a blessing and a gift from the universe. our problem is not SEEING race, our problem is COMPETING in a zero sum game based on race im getting tired of your stupid ѕhit. please for the love of god go get some fkg books. i can give you a very long list of great ones if you like, but i know from past experience ppl like you wouldnt pick up a book if their life depended on it, they prefer to just keep saying stupid ass ѕhit like you are doing right here stop being so infuriatingly ignorant. you arent helping the cause at all with this old tired disproven narrative. YOU and ppl like you are definitely the problem now. reading books can cure you, but you have to want to become part of the solution instead of the whole fkg problem -
medicare is not great but its far far better than the nothing or the 'cant use' faux coverage that a lot of people have now. i know many ppl that simply are not getting important procedures (mammograms, colonoscopy) bc they would have to pay thousands in a deductible first. having medicare as a default would allow ppl to get these procedures that saves lives and saves money. granted, the quality of doctors definitely would decrease for those that cant get better coverage, but again those lower quality doctors would be a hell of a lot better than no doctors i cant even think of why anybody would call medicare expansion immoral the reason the ACA is failing is precisely bc obama was too weak a president to make medicare for all happen in the first place. he made the mistake of trying to involve republicans when the dems had their total control. it was a nice gesture, but the presidency isnt about being nice, its about getting things done. once the dems total control evaporated, the republicans then set out to cripple the ACA simply bc it wasnt theirs. it was a wholly political strategy, and wholly disgusting from a moral standpoint it wasnt at all hard for me to predict at the time that the ACA as it was finally delivered would fail, it was going to fail due to intentional republican sabotage. and it also wasnt hard for me to predict at the same time that when the cycle eventually turns back to republicans they will end up with something that looks almost exactly like the ACA. you dont make complex plans like that work with fairy dust, you make them work with individual mandates so that everybody is covered and everybody contributes throughout their whole life the point is, that republicans had the opportunity to do it right the first time and they chose a wholly political path. they had the opportunity to fix it once it started showing that the finagling the democrats did to put it in place despite the republican sabotage werent working, but they chose a wholly political path. the good news is that now republicans own it, now they dont have the luxury to pursue another disgusting wholly political path bc they will be rightfully blamed this time if they dont get it right. that means its not at all surprising that they suddenly will like the way the ACA should have been done properly in the first place theres a special place set aside in hell for those that intentionally broke the most vital hc overhaul in american history. those same vile ppl now have a chance to at least turn down the thermostat when they finally reach their condo in hell

The president appears to nod to the grim political reality around repealing and replacing Obamacare. President Donald Trump on Monday claimed that “nobody knew that health care could be so complicated,” and again flirted with the idea that Republicans should let Obamacare “implode” so that Democrats shoulder the blame. Even as he re-upped his commitment to repealing and replacing Obamacare during separate gatherings with governors and insurance CEOs, Trump appeared to nod to the grim political reality of yanking away the increasingly popular law. "Let it be a disaster, because we can blame that on the Dems that are in our room -- and we can blame that on the Democrats and President Obama," Trump said in remarks to the National Governors Association. http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/trump-nobody-knew-that-health-care-could-be-so-complicated-235436 people are so fkg stupid and disgusting sometimes. and none is more stupid and disgusting than the orange man at the top its disgusting bc we are playing standard empty partisan politics with peoples fkg lives. it makes me sick to be an american when i think of how callous we are with this topic. so fkg embarrassing its stupid bc the fix is easy: make medicare available to everyone. but politicians wont do this bc it would shrink the massive healhcare insurance industry by at least half. so the fk what? let it shrink, we dont need it anymore. the insurance companies that remain will offer rider policies on top of medicare, which a lot of ppl will want, as well as for the cadillac plans of the wealthy. who give a fk if we dont have a monster insurance industry when we have universal coverage? what the fk is more important. ass holes Boehner: Republicans won't repeal and replace Obamacare 'They’re basically going to fix the flaws and put a more conservative box around it' Former House Speaker John Boehner predicted on Thursday that a full repeal and replace of Obamacare is “not what’s going to happen” and that Republicans will instead just make some fixes to the health care law. Boehner, who retired in 2015 amid unrest among conservatives, said at an Orlando healthcare conference that GOP lawmakers were too optimistic in their talk of quickly repealing and then replacing Obamacare. “They’ll fix Obamacare, and I shouldn’t have called it repeal and replace because that’s not what’s going to happen. They’re basically going to fix the flaws and put a more conservative box around it,” Boehner said. Earlier in the panel discussion, Boehner said he “started laughing” when Republicans started talking about moving lightning fast on repeal and then coming up with an alternative. "In the 25 years that I served in the United States Congress, Republicans never, ever, one time agreed on what a health care proposal should look like. Not once,” Boehner said. “And all this happy talk that went on in November and December and January about repeal, repeal, repeal—yeah, we'll do replace, replace—I started laughing, because if you pass repeal without replace, first, anything that happens is your fault. You broke it.” "And secondly, as I told some of the Republican leaders when they asked, I said, if you pass repeal without replace you'll never pass replace, because they will never ever agree on what the bill should be. Perfect always becomes the enemy of the good,” Boehner said. Boehner said what Republicans ultimately come up with could share a lot of the same qualities with Obamacare. "Most of the Affordable Care Act, in the framework, is going to stay there: coverage for kids up to age 26, covering those with preexisting conditions. All of that's going to be there. Subsidies for those who can't afford it, who aren't on Medicaid, who I call the working poor, subsidies for them will be there," Boehner said. http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/john-boehner-obamacare-republicans-235303 mr. boner never got the credit he was due when he was speaker. i didnt like him at first but the more he talked openly the more i felt he was underappreciated. then when he was ousted he really started speaking honestly, and it was confirmed that hes got a pretty good and fair mind. same thing with michael steele, actually. something about becoming republican speaker turns you into a dick, apparently. fortunately it appears to be a temporary condition

definitely you are part of the majority of americans that have outdated, dysfunctional, broken views on race and what is racist. completely broken whitness had the first chance and they completely fubared it, we all know how. when whiteness finally realilzed its mistake it let blackness decide what racism is, and blackness did what humans ALWAYS do, they defined it to rig the system against whitey. thats what we are living in now and what you are obviously a part of we need to flush the whole thing in the can and start over. no more automatic assumptions about whitey. no more special rules for blacks the only thing that should remain is true equality based on true brotherhood. and we sure as fk dont have that right now
