  1. ralph is cheap (i dont really believe this but for the past decade ive been posting those three words just to mock the parrots that do it for real anyway)
  2. as someone who loves and routinely spends time with black folks i have to say this is outrageous and completely unacceptable comments by reverend jackson. he should immediately apologize to Gilbert, to white folks, to black folks, and to the international community for injecting such racist hyperbole into a situation that has no basis for it youre not helping the cause brother jackson. i feel bad because i thought you had progressed nicely over the years but this is simply a case of doing some serious living in the past. you have seriously overreached and you are setting a terrible example regarding how we should be processing such situations shame on you. retract these comments immediately
  3. phew and i almost made a white girl/black guy joke too
  4. get some help
  5. i would LIKE them to crush the fish and make them cry but the only way they will win this game is to get the breaks. the fish are clearly superior mainly due to maturity so its highly unlikely they outplay them first time out. they will need to win the to battle short of that it seems pretty clear what will happen. ricky and ronnie and my grandma will combine to rush for over two hunnerd. bills move the ball but cant finish. 20-10 fish
  6. true but thats still a total fail of a thread title
  7. i fully support chanbud and i really like the way they are approaching this rebuild. i like the attitude, the accountability, the professionalism, and commitment. i love that they added whaley and i think they have the collective knowhow to build a winner still, that just aint gonna happen this season. this team is gonna suck pretty bad for at least half the season as guys figure out the all new systems and how to work as a unit. it will be ugly far more often than its pretty and they wont have any idea how to close the deal when they happen to be leading going into the fourth four wins
  8. too bad fitzy hasnt cracked 60% since college - 57.8% for his pro career its pretty much the only reason he isnt consistent starter material. just watching him play you can see that his accuracy is suspect. one unhurried ball is nicely thrown right on target and the next is hitting the gatorade pourer in the asscheeks
  9. all kidding aside, kelsay has been a major disappointment after being given too much money to re-sign, but he had easily his best season last year and was one of the best players on the entire team im being serious when i say if he was black people would think completely differently right now, he would be the player that finally bloomed and people would be excited about having him. but because hes white the image of his only having a 'high motor' and prior years underperformance persists after all we have been through with race in this country, aint that a B word
  10. not even close im amazed they are only 120 to 1
  11. well at least you can see why im predicting four wins with all new coaches, all new systems, modest talent, players playing all new positions, and no qb, the bills are gonna start the season close to or at the very bottemest of the league. as the season wears on they will surely get better, but i just dont see them able to compete against anything but the teams listed in this article of course due to any given sunday theres always surprises but i dont see the bills making that happen more than once maybe twice against the non-bottom feeders so: - win three of four against jags, @chiefs, lions, browns - win one division game - lose every other (@gb, @balt, chi(tor), pit, @min) total: four wins
  12. exackry what im predicting around 16th overall in offense but bottom fifth in rushing d and when your rushing d is that bad your whole d is bad so rules judge mh so it shall be
  13. easiest question ever id love to see captain checkdown become admiral downfield cuz that would mean we have an accurate qb who can play the game again, and we still get to hold onto a blooming prospect in brohm. ideally fitz gets cut in that scenario aint holdin my breath tho
  14. normally im very excited at the approach of the season this year i feel more like im waiting on a march to the gallows dead whammy weenie walking sigh
  15. come to think of it we have never seen gailey and saban together at the same time ...
  16. 24-10 fish fish run for over 200 yds bills o pretty decent but cant finish
  17. its so adorable how some people think you just line a rb outside and he becomes a wr incredibly bold but not really so bold prediction: theres absolutely no way in hell that spiller becomes in any way shape or form a wr2. in fact, if he splits wide more than three times all season i will eat marshawns dreads even if you want to assume spiller has hands as good as a wr (which he probably doesnt, more likely vgood for a rb but no better than average for a wr) there is an entire universe of wr technique that has to be learned, especially for the outside receivers who are farther from the qb (thus needing more separation) and going against the top cbs. at the pro level the diff btwn players is so slight that its tiny adjustments that determine who wins the wr/db battle. you dont just step onto the field and run routes and expect to get open cuz youll get your ass handed to you in fact, i doubt we will even see spiller in the slot more than once per game until midseason. thurman had excellent hands for a rb and it took him a couple seasons before they were having him run any kind of wr routes with consistency spiller will be used for classic rb passes: screens, flares, primary outlets, that kind of thing. other than to throw off the defense and get him some experience running nfl routes, he is not going to be used as any kind of consistent wr this season, probably not ever you may now return to your regularly scheduled wild speculation
  18. over the years ive learned that when it comes to sports some people have fun having faith their team will be good every season while others have fun trying to evaluate the team and predict how they will do each season ive also observed that each approach doesnt like to do it the 'other' way. even more still, each side often cant understand wth anyone would want to do it the other way i am definitely the latter. and to me the case is simple: * all new coaches - so everybody has to get to know how each other works * all new systems - so all the players and some of the coaches have to get to know new mechanisms * many players playing in new positions - sometimes for the first time ever * generally modest talent base - some mediocre to bad drafting leaves the team light on established playmakers most teams have at most one of those things to deal with. this bills team has hit the jackpot and is dealing with them all at the same time put it all together and my decades of football fandom says: four wins or you could just have faith
  19. although the name would imply riches i bet we'd still play like chump change
  20. bruce smith would show humility now THAT would be buffalo unusual
  21. this just in - they were cheating i will go to my grave just amazed that people can talk about the cheatriots as if they earned something. for some completely unbelieveable reason most people seem to feel taping signals wasnt a massive advantage. if you give me the resources of an nfl team and a tape of the first quarter defensive signals i guarantee you i can put together a decoder in time for the second half oh wow look how incredible that ne offense is! why its just like they know exactly where to go! thats because they did go back and take a look at the teams that gave them trouble in that era - it was teams that had cheatriot ex-coaches on staff! since they knew what the cheats were doing they likely did something to make stealing signals a lot harder its one of the biggest travesties in sports history, as well as a damning indictment how little people care about morality in their sports. a few draft picks and a couple fines?!??! my god they should have been stripped of their titles. of course the nfl severely underplayed it cuz they knew the scandal would seriously damage enthusiasm and thus income for the game, as well as leave a permanent mark against the league. but if people had stood up and protested the kid glove treatment they would have taken another look. but of course people didnt and i still find that utterly amazing what have they won since then? nuthin. the giants made their allegedly super offense look average. not surprising since they no longer knew what was coming. apparently people think that was just a coincidence. aaarghh
