So, the old question comes up again. Best player at 8? Or best DT, because we need a DT? That's not going to be a chump change draft choice, part of the benefit and penalty for sucking last year. I'm just going by a gut feeling on Ngata, which is pretty much as good as 90% of the statistic laced football posts I've seen over the last month or two.

1. Doesn't give you the right depth at either position. We carry 3 1/2 RB's? or 3 1/2 WR's? 2. Wouldn't that sort of signal what was coming up to the defense? 3. And, if you are going to do it as a decoy, who is the better blocker? JR or WM? That's blocking linebackers and maybe linemen vs. blocking CB's and safeties downfield. Just some immediate thoughts.

RE: Manning vs. Losman stats. I'm not looking it up, mostly because I don't care enough. Percentage to me means little, if it's not productive. How many attempts vs completions? How many resulted in first downs? YPC? How many interceptions? How many running yards per game? YPC for the runner? How many sacks? Don't all of these (and others) come into play when trying to judge a QB's performance?

Who all is being talked about, anyway? It's no secret that that is Condi's dream job, but I imagine they'll fill it before the next couple years are up.

Not just fuel costs, but inreased maintenance and less service life. And, you are going to have a hard time convincing anyone that's ever been shot at in a vehicle to turn off motors to avoid idling to save fuel. Having to start the vehicle up to move can be a death sentence in some circumstances.
