  1. Armor Reminds me many years ago when I was a tanker in the Cav. Went through a period where we had to wear flak vests, until someone with a brain stepped in. Flack vests? I'm in a friggen tank, for Christs sake. Anyway, the quote I've highlighted pretty well sums it up. Some poor grunt that works for a living will be that much more exausted at the end of the day, so folks here can feel better.
  2. I was looking at that and discussing on another board. Everyone is running Honda lower horsepower engines this year, with a 50% reduction in wing. Cars will be very squirelly.
  3. I think we need another Eric Mould thread. I really do. I can't get enough of Eric Moulds wisdoms.
  4. Sasha Cohen is beginning to look like a one trick poney. Better lock down some decent advertising contracts while there's time.
  5. I've had my moments over Jack Kemp. Got sick of watching "handoff to OJ"
  6. Yeah, you guys are right. I jumped the gun here. My immediate thought was that since it was such a dumb thing to say (especially for a guy in business with an Israeli Jew) that another type of intent may have been behind his statement than what was implied. Doesn't change the fact it was said. Whatever he was thinking, he should have engaged his brain faster.
  7. Dems pull support for Arab candidate OK, you have a heavily Arab constituency and you pull your Arab candidate for what is essentially a BS PC over reaction. Keep it up guys, and the Republican party will run sh-- for years to come.
  8. I've taken to picking on everybody and everything. Why? No reason, really. Boredom. I do know enough to know that those guys at One Bills Drive probably know a lot more about the NFL than I do, and I know more about the NFL than those here who want to trade up to draft another rookie QB in round 1. It's not always like this. At least I hope not.
  9. I know a gal who figure skates. They strap their titties down because it throws off the lines and curves of their point gathering leans and such. They also show and work their legs for the same reason. Good lines.
  10. Good for her. People make fun of ice skating a lot, but it's an individual sport - you are kinda out there by yourself. Can't hide anything.
  11. Prick. We need to have a beer sometime.
  12. I thought you thought Calista was OK, and a nice gal. Smeer campaign for the moment?
  13. Best beer I've had lately is KRC beer. And he bottles in big bottles. That said, no, I don't drink much "American" Beer. I will give some points to Blue Moon on draft, which curiously, I think is a Coors product. Probably not, but I'm not paying 20 cents over it.
  14. And we got your personal preferences. We all have personal preferences. So, if one is married to a beautiful woman they should dump them when someone younger and sexier comes along? Conduct interviews? Since it appears most current high profile Hollywood marriages have nothing to do with love, I guess so. Going to a semi-tangent, another resaon why I'm still mystified that if a movie actor says something it has credibility. People are thinking for the first time in 5 years because Charlie Sheen says so? They should pull their nose out of Men's Only and American Idol for a while. But hey, that's how you get chicks. 2006 version of polyester leisure suits.
  15. Don't remember your wedding music? If I were you, I'd ask someone who was there that isn't your wife and won't talk. That could become either an asset or a haunter.
  16. Actually, it is. CTM is an ass (I can call him that because, well, it's true...), but a very smart and perceptive guy. But sorry, the analysis is only discussed within the "Inner Circle" There are quite a few "Old Timey" posters who actually understand what they are looking at, but over the last few years have become way to cynical and jaded to try to post anything relevant here. Glad we still have a few, like Lori and the Cigar Man, and a few others. But they are also getting headaches from 163 different "Trade for Moulds" too. Damn, I think SDS even knows what he's looking at on occassion. Rare occassions, but there are occassions none the less. (Hi, Scooter)
  17. Hard to find many pictures of Crystal Steel that one can post here, anyway.
  18. Some do, though. A friend of mine is going through EMT/PA training in Poland, and will probably ultimately work in either Greece or Ireland. In talking with her, that's not unusual. But a lot of it also has to do with a cultural work ethic. I have a French friend that is sort of que sera sera about it all, and has gone through 3 jobs in 6 months and could care less about the protests. The place I'd like to be on the lam at is Sweden. Another friend is on disability after surgery. Not only was the surgery free, she gets 75% of her pre-hospitalization salary guaranteed. She hasn't worked in close to a year. Let's not even get into Germany. I wonder how businesses in Europe can stay in business at all.
  19. Thanks. I had a mental image of ice skating scores. 7 guys holding up cards saying "8.2" after a block.
  20. You should watch a game with the crap throwing monkey sometime. He has a laptop and a writing pad, where he takes notes on offensive line play and runs analysis. I kid not.
  21. I mean, blowing up buildings is one thing... but...beer? (and burgers)
