The 600 comes on once a year. And, there are a lot of NASCAR fans. FOX has a contract. I guess they could void it so you could get your 30 minutes of Cheetos fingers har har...but I don't think so.

Running third, stalls the car in the pits-comes out 16th. Drives the friggen wheels off of it to get to 9th-all in traffic. Bangs wheels at 220 mph going through a corner, saves the car. Smashes up the nosecone on a re-start, never panics-plays it smart, doesn't lose a lap. Leads several laps with the fuel dialed back, no choice by to give it up-then takes it back on the re-start. worked the fuel until there was nothing but fumes in the tank-last couple of laps had no choice but to let them go by, or not finish. Still came in 4th. I'm impressed, woman or not-a heck of a job by a rookie. And looked good fluffing her hair at the end. Didn't seem whuped at all. Looked like she had another 50 laps in her.

Good day for the IRL. If Danica had three more gallons of fuel, they never would have touched her.

Looked to me like everyone checked up in front of her. I think the girl is doing a great job. I've seen guys who have done it for years with less composure. She's going to be a force in a couple years.

I'm pulling for Danica. She's got good equipment, she's a good driver. Young, but that is not the same as it was 20 years ago. I have been a racing fan since the '60s. She's got a good chance, but Indy is known for $13.00 parts ruining a race. It's also obvious that she has more pressure on her than any of the other 32 drivers. If she can pull it off, my Kudos to her and Rahal. It's the 21st Century, folks. The Unsers, Andrettis, Foyts are gone. It's the "Great American Race". She's the only American with a chance of winning. Go for it, good luck.

OK, this the worst thing going on in your life? I agree with being PO'd at idiots...I AGREED with you...but get a grip. You have been "forbidden to pass" by some folks who have obviously intimidated you. If you had the Ferrari, they would have been in awe at your dust...if you ever got it out of second gear. You're starting to sound traumatized. That's not a good thing. Chill out. My suggestion, honestly, for you, is to slow down and take if possible take an alternate route. Or, buy something that can pass a rusted out van. Your choice. Don't start flipping the finger to three guys in a rusted out van with that mentality. Who is right and who is wrong doesn't really matter sometimes. Life gets like that, you can either pass them or not.

I have to agree with "The Thing". Probably one of the better horror sci-fi movies in the batch. One of John Carpenters better efforts. As for music, I like a lot of the oldies...I mean, oldies. Natalie Cole does a great job on Stormy Weather. Dianna Krall does a great job on most anything-most of them are piano bar/cigar standards. But, that's dinosaur music, right?

I lived there a couple of times. Last time, I had a '72 Mercedes that would flat ass run. Not an exageration, I would go from Bremen to Bremerhaven at about 135-138 MPH. which was essentially flat out. I STILL had people run up on me like I was doing 50. You move over-gently...get out of their way. The first time I was there, I remember my first experience getting into the left lane to pass a police car while going over a hundred miles per hour. Forgive me, I thought it was pretty cool. The caveat, here...is the Autobahn. Europeans can be the most crappy, ruthless city drivers in the world.
