Not what an inexperienced QB needs. I can't figure out why this continues to be a problem for the Bills. Different players, different coaches - and still shooting themselves in the foot with bone-head penalties. Didn't a roughing call keep the Colt's TD drive going? If this weren't such a consistent feature of the Bills, I'd blow it off - but whether some are bogus or not, 18 penalties is too much.

18 penalties. I wonder how many 135 yard drives JP has in him? Whatever the reasons, I've always considered penalties and the ref factor to be a big part (in the negative) of the last several years of Bills Ball. If they get a reputation for lots of calls going into the season, you can bet that they'll get a lot once they get there.

No. Emotional, but not significant in the larger scheme. Every generation will have an event of some kind, eventually you'll run out of days to have holidays on.

Exactly. Could be a weird blessing in disguise. Everything I've heard, he both goes after and catches most everything. Key point, goes after everything. Maybe this will cut down on the goes after everything. I've seen more than a couple pictures of him stretched out, giving up the body. Looks really cool and hungry, but maybe not good 16 game tactics. To use a racing analogy, you have to be around at the finish to win.

I don't want to send this to PPP, but I would like to point out that there are a lot of folks who have always had human nature, now have technology, and it falls into the big picture realm. Situations in Iran are very similar. Younger people in Iran want MTV. Middle-Eastern governments are not fond of the internet, or satellite. Fundamental bad guys have long been using it as a cheap communications medium. Both overtly, and covertly.

Take a deep breath. Let it out, slowly. We Bills Fans have survived greater trauma, and actually have some good prospective WR depth for the interim. KR and PR too. Somehow, the Bills will get along. And so also, will humanity. Why the group psychosis over a #3 or 4 WR with a "rookie" QB? The Bills already have speed on the team. The first quarter of the season will be an extension of pre-season, probably looking at 2-2 or 1-3. Then, we get excited or nervous. Things should settle in by then. Maybe I have more faith in this coaching staff. Gilbride is gone. So is what's his name, the last coach.

I've seen some serious carpal tunnel put a few of the Beijing Bombers on IR.

This is an annual argument. I think with the impact of free agency killing true depth, staffs need more actual game views to get the best look at their rosters. As mentioned in a lot of other places, some players look great/poor in practice and can be the opposite at full speed. Sure, people can get injured, but the majority of players make it pretty well through a season without anything major. If a coaching staff is confident of what they have in someone, they can play him sparingly or sit him down if they want.

This is also sort of an interesting commentary on how Saudi youth is viewing things these days.
