  1. You guys just can't help yourselves, can you? If Buffalo had hired decent contractors, this never would have happened.
  2. I've been asked a couple times about the baked beans recipe. It is now posted, curiously enough under "Beans".
  3. So, what's different now? At least the ability would be there to change it, and it would make it easier to affix "blame" and address acountibilty. Don't forget, there have been a couple of President's besides Bush. don't think the Democrats haven't done the same things, all administrations do.
  4. Over-Under on how long it takes everyone to get tired of it?
  5. And the fact that Congress will never allow it. How is that really a delegation, though. Why not use the same procedures as a normal presidential veto?
  6. Line item veto...again. Don't blame the President of either party without this ability.
  7. Didn't know you could show transvestite midgets at an underwear swap party doing kneel downs during prime time. So I guess, yeah... What hummer commercial?
  8. Ask me again at mid-season. Likely possibles, but who knows who might turn stuff around. And, who's going to replace them?
  9. Agreed. Traditionally, a D and a good offensive line (running game) will get you a playoff seat, then any given Sunday takes over. But between the "top 5" salaries and how they've become inflated by certain managements and agents, I don't think it possible to "script" a SB team in this day and age. Were that possible, everyone would be doing it. Very few teams seem to be able to put both sides of the ball together well enough, and keep it together for the time it takes to get to the big one. The 90's Bills and the current Patriots are more of a fluke. Another strong consideration to me is depth, and acquiring quality players to step in as people age and move to the side. You can get the offense really clicking, but what happens when you lose Kent Hull and Jim Kelly? Same with defense, if the replacements aren't there. What have we and everyone else been doing? Going out on the market and buying best available for the immediate need. Who are we developing besides Losman?
  10. I was gratified to see way less penalties, but you have to be on the field to get one, don't you. Still - an improvement.
  11. Would there have been any value in switching to more (any?) 2 back sets (block, release, outlet underneath...) and keeping the WR's spread? Just asking.
  12. Yeah, that standing there waving thing was nice.
  13. If you try that are you going to have an Atlanta RB ripping off 6 per carry? Especially if Fletcher is dinged?
  14. I probably missed quite a bit, but it seemed there were several times he had someone open and over threw, a few out of bounds. Is it me? Or was he locked in on Evans a lot?
  15. The Bills offensive line could be a better matchup against the Atlanta defense if they might consider sticking with some running game. Atlanta is quick, but small. I think whether Fletcher plays or not (plays healthy) could be the decider. Need his tackling, especially with Vick running around.
  16. I was still thinking on it...mind if I borrow your answer?
  17. Any given Sunday. The pick 'em league is going to be a true adventure this year.
  18. Lookin' forward. Hope we have something to drink to.
  19. I'd hate to be your students tomorrow..."What do you mean a D and 15 yards for roughing?!?!"
