  1. This could be a football post. I'm not sure.
  2. I call bullshidt. We all know that you won't show up. Too hard.
  3. Mickey? I'll take it a step further. You are full of shidt and I actually for a long time thought better of you.
  4. I had it on, switched up my Tampa pick for the Bills because it's just so hard to pick someone else (lesson learned, stick with your gut). The commercials were long enough that I had time to do a load of laundry and some dishes during the breaks. I have been known to rise from the couch. This explains why we never see you.
  5. Pirate talk is reserved for non-Bill's subjects unless directly attributable to pre-defined football related issues and expressionalist venues. As for venues, this could be a grey area. Is Cable a good kisser? Does that relate to the defense getting hot and tired? I need my lawyer. Rich? He's a big mo-fo, you'll just instinctively listen to him.
  6. I heard you had a shot at the Blue Bus, and called your guy friends to brag that you saw it. (Sue, he was a good, good boy - you know how us over 40 farts are. He PM'd me with how he had to stop Boom from embarrassing everyone, he was always thinking of you, you know he'd never act the dog, you have a good, loyal family man there, Sue).
  7. Oh, you say that so sexy.... Sorry, that was an OT post too.
  8. Me neither. To me, doesn't matter. I'm one of those win-loss people who take a pragmatic outlook towards the argued nuances. You either win or lose. Win ugly once in a while. Better than losing looking good. Of course that doesn't apply to yesterday. They looked like crap, and I'll go with those who say you gotta have one, and better that it's one that doesn't matter. Bills were not going 16-0. If you are going to look like UB, do it early against someone who is not a tiebreaker.
  9. Don't thank me, thank Copernic. You're just a tease, anyway.
  10. Read companion thread. We need about 25 more Losman threads for this subject. 53.3 or something, shows what a real stat that is. I would have gone into the negative numbers, by my rules, but my rules don't count and I'm getting better than I expected. Also not a slam on JP, as so many have said so many times, more like, welcome to the NFL.
  11. Not since the Sister Mary Margaret incident. How was I to know she hd a cousin in Toledo? It's not easy going from being the Pope to gun running. Oh, sorry...this is OT.
  12. 52.8, most in the fourth. You owe GG $.02 I'll settle for a lap dance.
  13. No, that would be off topic. Refer to the correct venue.
  14. Now, you've taken it from football and made it an OT post. London Fletcher hurt his hammy, and we need 13 threads to support and qualify/quantify that. Maybe by Thursday we will know if it is an issue. We will ignore the Beerball LAMP (God, I just love acronyms). Post in the appropriate venue, please. This is the solely football that people have wanted for years. Don't rain on their moment. I've learned more about pro football today than I ever have in 40 years. (OK, I'll quit being a dick, now)
  15. Gawd, you're as bad as the rest of them. Sort of hard to find a topic? I've heard it was hot. Oh, and (insert name) sucked.
  16. That was Bill assuming everyone knows what he is talking about, and that we would be watching whatever he does at any given moment. I've been through this, relax.
  17. I still think the line item veto is a good idea. It would probably extend the passage time for spending bills, because each individual cut would have to be lobbied, but I still think in the long run it's one of those rare things that would make the system more honest. I know what you are saying about cutting the pork of the opposition - but that would be geared more towards protecting voting blocks, not any proprietary causes in most cases. For that reason, I doubt many Presidents want it either. Perhaps it can be re-introduced in a different form to make it through the SC. Everybody says they want change, but whenever a mechanism for change is suggested most jump up and shout no, for whatever reason. Getting rid of an administration you don't like and installing your warm fuzzy feeling of choice doesn't guarantee nor even imply any changes in the process. The Patriot Act comes to mind. Flawed in ways, but everyone wanted more security and when this popped up (looked at by many people who know why security is flawed) the masses screamed "NOOOOOOO". Why? It affects a perceived change of the individual right to do whatever we want, and that isn't even the issue. It's not just "Bush" or "Clinton", it's supposedly the people's government, and most people don't do much more than TIVO and complain.
  18. You have WAY too much time on your hands. I need to talk to your boss.
  19. But the football purists now have heaven. Or groundhog day.
  20. And people in Houston are going "Thanks for coming..."
  21. One can go that route too, especially when putting on the smoker, but 3-4 hours is a good compromise for those who don't have all day to do it.
  22. Note- I don't know how to edit the recipes, one should grind the spices just prior to making, not the day before.
