  1. Quit spending so much time working, sleeping, or with your family. You took on this role - live up to the hype. Best BOTD poster my ass. There's at least 6 BOTD posters out there who get more pics per post than you do. I'll grant that you only get so many posts per day...I'd be happy to see you get more...but the effort just isn't there, where's that "Stiff Arm?" we used to see? Sure one post, maybe two posts per season you really come through. But if you were the BOTD poster we thought we had at the beginning of the season, that pics per post count would be much higher, and Catherine Bell would have been no later than October.
  2. I can easily picture this crowd wearing togas sitting in section 113 of the Coliseum, thumbs pointed down no matter who got trotted out. "Flavius?" "Naw...Maximus!" "Aw screw it, where's those damn lions, pass me a grape."
  3. Play calling aside, something I and several others brought up early - back in pre-season, was the consistent lack of discipline and boneheaded penalties that have been the bane of the Bills for years. Whoever does whatever in terms of coaching needs to make this a priority adjustment to this team. Somewhere there is a stat-a-holic that can figure this out, but how many opportunities were lost this season or given to the other team on idiotic penalties? As bad as everything else has been, this was a factor in several games, and will be next year if not fixed. Trouble is, how do you fix it?
  4. What would Brian Boitano do? Or Chuck Norris?
  5. I'll even bring over a really neat big screen, when I bring the sundaes. We can watch some cool movies.
  6. No, I probably have about 12,000. Changed my handle. The old post count thing. OK, you win. I'm wrong. My bad, I'm sorry. Please forgive me. You had an opinion. This is a football board, you should be respected as fact.
  7. Yeah, I'm no fun. I also don't make this my life.
  8. Glad you're "the real", hate to have to resort on opinions.
  9. Yeah, I'm watching old black and white Sci-Fi movies. Cheese factory special will be run next week.
  10. Everyone willing to jump over a cliff for the Bills, jump. Anyone not wanting to jump, we will have ice cream and cake in the rec-room.
  11. Thank you for the "from ESPN" part. That makes it a good idea. ESPN, let alone the rest of TV, will tell us what to do. We are all stupid sheep, without TV. Thank you, television.
  12. Which folks are you speaking of? Hard to tell if you are instigating or discussing. "Historical". We've already had the Crusader caveats, and we've also discussed Saladin. I myself brought up the point that Mohammed was more a general, than a prophet. Problem is now, Buckwheat, that even though it was true in the past, it's much more true now that ideology is intertwined with a global economy, from the Islamic perspective. 800 years ago, or whatever, we didn't differentiate, now we do - they don't. You understand the history of "secular"? I don't either, but it happened. Western society is at a disadvantage, from the ideological albeit also the informational strategic standpoint. I see that everytime people here slam Christianity. You don't think religion is a tool to winning? It has been, for 4,000 years. Why give up a power running game for a deep pass attack with a fragmented team?
  13. That's because everyone was in coverage. I'm not sticking up for Holcomb at all, so don't get me wrong. Why do you think they got 4 picks? A decent, not great staff knows Holcomb has no arm, and the Bills will pass a lot within 10 -15 yards. Gameplan for that, as if it's a run, a Bills running back usually has to step over his own blockers to get going. Allows linebackers to get back to the play. 11 guys covering a ten yard "box" can make it hard on a whimp passing game. DC's in the league, I would guess are not afraid of a 30 yard pass out of the Bills unless their CB springs a hammy on that particular play.
  14. Yup. But, when one has an o-line that has a hard time slowing 3 pass rushers, with 8 in coverage, it's hard to get the ball to them.
