  1. I agree we will pick higher then 13 which can increase the odds on Te'o making it to Buffalo... Landry Jones Fitz 1.1? He has good size, arm strength, would fit Chan's offense, he would do wonders for the passing game, and give them an actual vertical passing attack
  2. http://www.drafttek.com/2013-nfl-mock-draft-round1.asp 1st round: 13. Buffalo: Manti Te'o ILB Notre Dame: Bills play often in Nickel with Barnett (age 32) and Bryan Scott (age 31), who are among the 4 oldest Bills on the team. The Bills need a 3-down, run-stuffing LB because Scott is a liability against the run. We'll continue to see runs up the gut as long as we have a retrofitted CB in the middle. We need the star LB from one of the FBS's great run-stuffing teams, someone who led that team with 128, 133, and 157 tackles in the last 3 years, and is nominated this year for the Lombardi Award (as did Notre Dame and revered Bills DE, Walt Patulski). As long as we're customizing our pick, let's make sure he's also an Eagle Scout, volunteers for Special Olympics, and leads the FBS in INT's this year. Have him be a family man who has 30 family members attend his Senior Day game. Finally, make sure he's not a prima donna who leaves his gaps to make plays that aren't his to make. That's Manti Te'O. Now if he were only from NY and not Hawaii . . . -- Dean Kindig, Bills DraftTek Analyst http://www.drafttek.com/2013-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round2.asp 2nd round: 44. Buffalo: Landry Jones QB Oklahoma: Landry's resuscitation as a Top Five QB might have begun with his 63 points against Texas, where his 4 TD's looked far better than his earlier erratic performances. He trumped that output against K-State in a losing effort, five TD's and 505 yards. Most recently, Landry's 6 TD's and an OU-record 554 yards in a comeback victory against WVU, one stolen from Geno and the Morgantowners, will make Channix swoon, especially at pick #45. Even more delectable is Jones' ability to run the no-huddle; in many games you'll notice the lack of a cheat sheet on a wristband. Named for Tom Landry, this accurate passer (63%-67% for 3 years) will be the Big 12 conference's all-time leader in passing yards, the winningest quarterback in school history, and one of only three QB's in FBS history with 3,000 passing yards in four different seasons. --Dean Kindig, Bills DraftTek Analyst If this ever happened, I would literally cry with joy.
  3. Wow some great replies in this thread...and some of them scary too how long it has been...someone was 20 months old? LOL
  4. How was his tone when he made that comment, was he being sarcastic?
  5. Nailed it...and injuries are not a viable excuse this year
  6. I figured this would be a good game to get us through this terrible season and give perspective to just how long it has been.... 1999 was the last year the Bills made the NFL Playoffs... I was 26 years old, no debt, single, happy...now I will be 40 next year, lots of debt, married, and my entire 30's will be spent not watching a SINGLE Bills playoff game. How about you?
  7. Here is an idea: Stop gliding cash to Ralph and STOP going...tickets are not a RIGHT folks...send a clear message and stay away from the games!
  8. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still FIRED up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I want it to imply it for sure: Let the 2012 Draft Talk commence. 5-6 in 3 weeks, might as well start now
  10. Jerry Sullivan article garbage? That is as given as death and taxes...
  11. So who is next? My $ is on Stevie Johnson. We are cursed. End of story.
  12. If you think we are making the playoffs now after the injuries this week and I am sure more to come, you are out to lunch.
  13. Are we surprised given recent history???
  14. Ho hum. Wake me up in October.
