  1. LMFAO!@!!! So, "you're" take on LenDale consists of 100% pure stat parroting. Nice. He got "worse" because, what, his YPC went down? LMAO!! BAWK BAWK BAWK. Polly wanna cracker? Did you notice LenDale in on almost all passing downs while the Titans went on their late win streak? Did you perhaps notice that it was LenDale who clocked Schoebel on one of Vince's late scrambles, and that block allowed Young to get the corner? And that play was critical to the Bills' loss... Of course you didn't, because you cannot PARROT it from the stat column. Football players can be evaluated when they play. They cannot be evaluated when they do not play. Those who claim football players who do not play can be evaluated are PARROTS who understand nothing but stats and "coach knows best" blabber.
  2. Indeed, and Mark Brunell never got rid of the ball while hurried.... Want to assess an OL's ability to pass block? A: don't watch. Just check his "sacks allowed" stat and parrot that. Dockery is a decent player. He does have some run blocking talent. He can be beaten by quicker DTs. He is no way "a hell of a pass blocker." He is a marginal pass blocker.
  3. LenDale had a torn hammy to start camp last year. He got better as the season progressed. In case you haven't noticed, the Titans intend to dump Henry and are letting Chris Brown walk. Any idea why? LOL!!! If a player gets injured, he is a bust and he had no talent at all. Just ask Texans fans about Tony Boselli... Eric King should never have been cut. Justin struggled with the T to G transition, but is a heck of a lot better at T or G than Langston Walker.
  4. Well, we'll get compensatory picks for London and Nate... next year...
  5. Biggest? Perhaps Best? Get real Maybe we can quickly sign Bennie, Mike Williams and Leonard Davis. Man, that would be a BIG BIG BIG OL. It would also put Losman in a coma.
  6. LOL!!! Then I'd just be one of thousands of voices saying the same thing. What fun would that be?
  7. I was right then and I am right now. Sorry if the truth hurts. There is an endless supply of positive spin. I am a source of truth, regardless of how much it hurts.
  8. Indeed, edge rushers are a ridiculous problem. It is crystal clear that you have no idea what you are talking about regarding his run blocking. Run blocking is different from being awed by his size in the huddle. The Raiders tried Walker at OG and that was a complete disaster too. Defenders get under Langston. Langston, for all of his size, gets overpowered a lot. This is a major reason why the Raider OL sukked and why the Raiders let Walker walk...
  9. "Langston Walker is a talented player" Oh my god. Let's put this in the class it deserves. 1. William Hung is a great singer 2. Duke Cunningham was a great Congressman 3. Robert Gallery was a great #2 overall pick 4. Drew Bledsoe is the greatest QB in Bills history
  10. Simply equating size to run blocking is pathetic. Walker just flat out sukks, plain and simple. He is not a good run blocker. All he is is big. The guy is super stiff and should never have been offered more than the NFL minimum wage. To think the FO actually wants this guy to start is like hiring a hit man to beat up Losman.
  11. Langston Walker is an absolute JOKE. The guy is as stiff as an 800 year old oak tree. Why in the world would we pay up for Walker when we have a better athlete in Pennington just beginning to get it down? Dockery is OK. I would have been calm had it been in the 2-3 mil per year range. Paying Dockery a contract like Steve Hutchinson is just plain pathetic. Jauron may have played football in the Ivy League, but somehwere, at some point, too many knocks on the head got to him...
  12. Been away for a while... MBD and others, what is up with Nance??
  13. Translation: I have never seen Nance play a down. I love the fact that he is tall. I can parrot the Draft Guru write-ups until the end of time. When LaDairis claimed that Nance had poor "adjustment to the ball" skills, I had a hissy, because I did not understand that, and height is really all that matters at WR (just ask Santana Moss, Steve Smith, Derrick Mason etc.) In fact, I am really upset right now that just about everything LaDairis said before Training Camp is proving to be accurate... 1. Kyle Williams isn't much of a downgrade from McCargo if at all 2. Eric King is still awesome at coverage despite being, oh NO, SHORT!!!! 3. George Wilson is better than Nance 4. Ko Simpson and Geisinger look good LMAO!!! Yeah, please, someone, once more, tell us just how hard Big Ben lobbied the Steelers to sign undrafted Nance... Gee coach and GM, can you spare $5k on an undrafted bonus???
  14. He and Nance were the two "tall" WRs the entire NFL watched for the full Senior Bowl week and decided were not worth Draft picks. Aren't you the moronic PARROT who always BAWKS "coach or FO knows best?" Well, then, all 32 teams must have really been asleep for a week in Mobile - LOL... Yes, Baskett was "traded" for a player who was expected to be cut. Had Baskett not been traded, he would have been cut. The Vikings quickly saw the obvious truth of the Senior Bowl practices and the NM game film - the kid has absolutely TERRIBLE ball skills, worse than Nance. Nance will catch it with his hands if the throw is on target. Baskett won't, because he knows his hands are unreliable and less reliable than his "baskett." When you graduate from third grade and get some understanding that height is not the only measure of a WR, let us know...
  15. The one catch he had, a simple in route, he "baskett" caught. The kid has NO HANDS. That is WHY he went undrafted and was quickly cut by his first team. The kid doesn't adjust to the ball and doesn't catch the ball with his hands. He needs a perfect throw not to bounce off his chest...
  16. And before the 1999 season, you must have been pretty sure the Ram QB sukked... somebody Warner, never heard of him...
  17. Nance over Andre Davis... Yeah, sure...
  18. "And yes, Wilson, was on the roster all year...but why was he inactive for virtually the entire offseason?" Why was Bennie starting the entire season? Oh, yeah... Coach knows best !! Got it... "Could it be that he's not as good as you claim him to be? Is he perhaps not the ST guru April cannot live without?" I have made two claims about Wilson. The first is that he is a good ST/4th WR prospect and nothing more. The second is that he is superior to Martin Nance in every aspect except height. Since I think Nance is pretty much worthless, that must mean I think Wilson is Pro Bowl material, right? Wilson may be a better WR than Aiken, but since Aiken is world class at STs, he got active duty and George did not. None of that is relevant to the factually inaccurate claim you made that Wilson "doesn't play ST." Rather, Wilson doesn't play STs as well as Aiken, who is pretty good at STs and may be the Bills' best STer. Wilson is a darn good STer and to say otherwise is to fib... "I don't know what your deal is" I don't like liars. I don't like parrots. I don't like being asked to document the drops I saw Nance make as a Redskinhawk. I don't like it when a clueless parroting moron insults a good kid like George Wilson with a factually challenged insult... And I don't even dispute your roster projection. Nance may indeed go to the PS and Wilson, since he's a two year vet, goes completely. That, by itself, won't prove much. The old regime valued ST play and hence kept both Aiken and Wilson. Every team needs that outside cover guy, either the gunner or wide on kickoffs, to go down and make the tackle. Wilson is very good at that. Aiken is better. Nance is useless...
  19. "And yes, I've seen Nance play. A few of my relatives are big Steeler fans, and so I've seen some college ball tapes of Ben R. (w/Nance) with them around the time Ben was drafted" Sure... and Worf beamed over with them into your living room... "As for Wilson, every rookie in the NFL plays special teams during the preseason" LOL!! Did Losman? Did Willis? "And every college player has played special teams in college." More likely, every time you open your trap, another load of @#@@ comes out... "And most backup WR's get assigned to special teams play...doesn't prove anything" The fact that he played STs proves just that. The fact that Wilson is actually good at running down the field, either as a gunner or KR cover guy, and makes solo tackles on a regular basis is a bit more than "he was just out there." Sam Aiken is perhaps a better ST guy, but Wilson is hardly ineffective as a cover guy, something anyone who has paid the slightest attention to George knows... which clearly excludes you... "Wilson obviously wasn't good enough at it to demand a roster spot for the full 2005 season" It is a certifiable fact that Wilson did stay on the Roster the entire year - another one out your rear... "And that's my point" Translation: BAWK, in fact a factless coach knows best BAWK... "Regarding Nance, nowhere in my post did I equate "potential" with "height." " LOL!!! It is absolutely incredible to believe that, given the factless dribble out of your parroting pie hole so far, that you don't think that...
  20. "IMO, it had nothing to do with the college or injuries, and very little with the combine performance. I think the scouts looked at the tapes and saw a guy who just didn't perform as well against the better cornerbacks he did face" Translation: I've never seen him play a down, but... "Nance has the most potential" Translation: Because I have no clue WTF I'm talking about, I'll equate height to potential... "George Wilson - isn't fast and doesn't play special teams" LOL!!! Not that I'm suggesting that Wilson will ever be more than a good #4 WR and gunner/STs guy, but to say "he doesn't play special teams" is to confuse "Wilson appeared in two games and was credited with one ST tackle" with whatever just farted out of the bunghole. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/493743/gamelogs/2005 http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/gamebook/NFL_20050911_HOU@BUF That's game one... and Wilson gets credited with a solo tackle on the Second Half kickoff... In fact, Wilson had three ST tackles in preseason as well, not including one in the opener called back by penalty... http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/gamebook/NFL_20050813_BUF@IND 9-R.Lindell kicks 65 yards from BUF 30 to IND 5. 33-D.Rhodes to IND 18 for 13 yards (15-G.Wilson). PENALTY on BUF-29-E.King, Offside on Free Kick, 5 yards, enforced at BUF 30 - No Play. 9-R.Lindell kicks onside 13 yards from BUF 25 to BUF 38. 59-C.June to BUF 33 for 5 yards (15-G.Wilson). PENALTY on BUF-91-C.Ritzmann, Offside on Free Kick, 5 yards, enforced between downs. Wilson did some gunner as a Razorback as well, as was good at it. And hence some retard who posts that "Wilson doesn't play Special Teams" is a what?? LOL!!! Yeah...
  21. "give me a fvcking break, you self-important moron. What the fvck is "parroting" about asking why you have a more astute opinion about Nance then Ben Rolisburger(sic) (who, by the way, did not make any draft choices for the Steelers)." ... and surely had ZERO influence on the Steeler player evaluations from the RedskinHawks. Cowher and the GM huddled together before the Draft... Cowher: Do you think we should ask Ben about Nance, Nande, and the other RedskinHawk prospects? GM: No, just have that moron out riding his bike on Draft Weekend. I do not want to hear a word from him... because I'm parroting a greater guru - Mel Kiper... Cowher: Well, since he is our franchise QB for the next decade, you're right, we should completely ignore his observations about his former teammates. Why should we ask Ben when we can parrot Mel Kiper...
  22. The best RB? Why, the TALLEST one, of course...
  23. "Kzoo (person #2) has seen Nance play 4 times in real life" He claims that. I think he's fibbing. Certainly, "his" "opinion" is a carbon copy of each and every "guru" report out there on Nance, which suggests that, even if he did watch Nance, he did not get "his" "opinion" from watching...
  24. "What exactly did you see? You said at one point you saw 4-5 (5-6?) games if I remember right" Try closer to 15 over Nance's career. The 4 was KzooMORON's claim, and likely a fib... Miami OH and other MAC teams have made a big effort to score ESPN viewing through mid week games. Miami OH has also been to Bowl games recently, perhaps even each year. Nance got hurt two years ago, and did lose something, but even with Ben as his QB, it was obvious that he really did not have top skills.
  25. "I respect the fact that you (LaDarius) think "Nance does not adjust well to the ball. He does well if the ball is right to him " but this seems to contradict the quote from Ben implying Nance adjusted well, has soft hands and BR couldn't believe some of the one-handed catches." Ah, the "greater guru" parroting theory for all to see. Dismiss what the Steelers did Draft weekend and stick with the quote, because words after the fact speak louder than actions...
