I am not defending her. I don't think Bush should meet with her. But I also doubt that that she is either brainwashed or being manipulated. I don't think she is very coherent about what she wants. But I do think if she stopped tomorrow, their will be somebody to replace her. This war has not been popular from the beginning.

I have liked MM. The guy had enough self-assurance to go out and get competent Coaches, unlike GW. I think two things from last year were telling: the six wins in a row after the bad start, and 3rd quarter play, the first half is usually game planning, the 3rd quarter is usually adjusting. I think game planning can improve, but you can't argue with what happened last year in the 3rd quarter.

Do you really think that members of our military are overly sensitive to this kind of stuff? I mean, anytime that anyone speaks out against this stuff, do you really imagine it is a blow to their morale? The people I have known in the military rarely seem overly sensitive to it, at least the ones I know. Forgive me for speculating aloud but the military people I respect do not seem to be swayed by partisan messages from the left or the right. I suggest this respectfully: to think that anything like this Cindy Sheehan thing is a terrible blow to morale drips with condescension for the military. I just don't believe that they are that fragile when It comes to this kind of stuff. Do you really think so?

Okay. I always liked Lou, so I will join the Chorus. Haddad is the Lou Piccone this team needs.

Production was about 6-12 catches a year. Effort was there. But I seem to recall Lou mostly in mop-up duty, with a rare third down appearence. He was usually good for 2 first downs a year and maybe had 6 or 7 career touchdowns over a decade. Don't get me wrong, I liked Lou, and so did most nightclub owners, but would you keep Josh Reed around for 6-12 catches a year?
