I slightly disagree, I think this is the chance that the defense shows that it is elite. Show us they can hold a top offense to 20 or less points on the road. Show us this defense is the best in the NFL!!!

Grew up in Pendleton and moved to Tampa in 1983. Learned to love the Bucs, but Bills are still my #1, I rationalized it as they are an NFC team. Then moved to Fairfield, CA in 1985 and while I enjoyed the Raiders and Niners I only went to the games when the Bills played, not a pleasant experience in Oakland. First thanks for doing this I really like these type of threads. I also totally agree with this take on EJ. Camp and pre-season really does not mean much, it is the regular season. My memories from last camp was that there were going to be a ton of deep balls and the receiver corps were the strength of the team. Once the regular season started there we hardly any deep balls and the receivers were not the strength of the team. So what I have got from camp so far is that our D has the potential to be special. EJ we will have to see with regular season games. If the D is special a slight improvement will be all we need to make the playoffs.

What about Doug Legursky? Was he not the worst starter on the line last year. Should he not be on the endangered list? He would be on mine...

From what I have read he did well except real physical teams, like SF, SEA and ARI. Which is a HUGE upgrade because our guards struggled against everybody.

We have DTV just for Sunday Ticket. Once the season is over I suspend the account for 6 months, the max allowed and start back up in July. So I pay for 2 extra months that are not football season.

I found it interesting that they project an 11-5 record but that gives them a 34.8% chance at amking the playoffs? Really? How many 11-5 teams have not made the playoffs?
