Our worse case 10-6 scenario is KC is tied with us at 10-6, they do have a better conference record. Lets assume our 10-6 is we lose to Oakland and beat everyone else. Denver goes 3-3 and goes 10-6 we would tie them for the last spot assuming KC goes 11-5. Not sure how the tie break goes after conference record but we would have same conference record as Denver in this case. We would have beat Pitt so they should be gone by then and Miami also, but if it is a big logjam at 10-6 who knows.

Playoff teams beat teams with losing records and split some way against the winners. So far the Bills have done enough against teams with losing records. Do we win 5 of 6 the rest of the way? We will see, but other then the Raiders in Oakland none of the other teams are world beaters. We could be the Steelers and Miami at home, but no guarantee that we will. We won 4 straight earlier against similar quality teams. Yesterday's win was ugly, but it was a win against a conference foe on the road, I will take it. We need to less hard on ourselves when we win.

Last year after Aaron Williams was out the seam route was the thing teams really killed us with. I expect a good deal of that on Sunday.

I will admit I was wrong also. I was wondering why they hired Rex, with a strong D already, but thought that the D would have still been good under him and if they could get the O working better. Last year I thought many times if we had that O with the previous years D the playoff drought would be over. Coming into this year I was even more hopeful. If the D could buy in and get better and the O improve a bit more this team could be real strong. With Brady out for us I really thought we could start 4-0. The the last 2 weeks happened. The D was better against a bad Baltimore O and just terrible against a good Jets O. Our O is feast or famine and does not put together long time consuming drives. But we can hit the big play. This team is totally mismanaged and now I am wondering when the quit on the season? If the Cards go up 14-0 early does the team just quit? Do we have to be in games early to stay interested? If we start the season 0-4 is that enough to give Rex the boot? 0-9? I am now feeling that the season is out of our reach, I could be wrong and they all pull together and use the us against the world, we will see this week.

I went and looked at my season prediction and determined I was dyslexic. I had them at 13-3 with loses to the Seahawks, Bengals and Steelers. Since I had it all backwards it will be 3-13 with wins against the Seahawks, Bengals and Steelers. Rex i fired prior to the Seahawks game.
