If I'm not mistaken, Drew Brees is no longer under contract to San Diego. Wasn't he playing under the Franchise tag? It should be interesting to see if San Diego wants to franchise him again or what kind of interest he would draw on the open market.

Since the government did not recruit her as an agent, I doubt they'd be to concerned about compromising her. He sources in terrorism probably aren't boy scouts, so I doubt they'd be concerned if something happened to them.

Because he's an idiot? He didn't have insurance and managed to burn down his own house. I actually thought there might have been some truth to the story, but I expected to find out later that his house was insured and the mouse had been doused in lighter fluid.

I didn't think Bremer was particularly scathing either but I did find it interesting that he realized more troops were needed, asked for, and they were not provided. I also found it interesting that the administration apparently thought the occupation would last less than 1 year. I'd heard of this fantasy before but couldn't believe anyone could be so delusional. Unfortunately, the delusional are promoted in this administration and the sober minded are fired. Anyway, I still think it is a good thing he got his Medal of Freedom given the past tactics of this administration and the conservative talk radio pit bulls that attack anyone who doesn't toe the administrations line. People are only held accountable for their loyalty, not their actions.

I think the worst form of torture I've heard of was having some woman strip in front of a man until he got a hard on. Can you point to examples where this has changed religiously based cultures in the West? From what I've seen, most religious people lash out at what they percieve as attacks. Thanks for another of your classic rants.
