If she was dating the judge, that would be a conflict of interest. If she was dating one of the defense attorneys or staff member, that could be a conflict of interest if the accused was unaware of it. If she is dating a prosecutor, how is that a conflict of interest? They're both on the same side of the v in Georgia v Trump.

How is this a problem? The incident happened within the last 2 weeks. Nathan Wade isn't on the case, not that there was any conflict of interest to begin with.

How many people have been sentenced to felonies or prison time just for walking around areas that are normally open to the public? There seems to be an impression that this is the norm. I think most people got charged with misdemeanors.

That is deflection. Trump is being criticized for using Arlington National Cemetery for campaigning. He was told not to do so before showing up and when he showed up. The Gold Star families have no more right to change ANC policy than I do.

The 20 or so people in the "Jan 6 Choir" were all violent. That is who this gala is for. People shouldn't be prosecuted simply for walking through the doors you described but they may have done illegal things after peacefully entering that are subject to prosecution.

The story is behind a paywall. The George Bush picture is not at Arlington. Looks like remarks in France. Same with the Clinton picture. The pictures of Clinton and Obama may have been it Section 60. Were they used in a campaign? John McCain did shoot an ad in Arlington National Cemetery and said he regretted doing so. Spencer Cox, Governor of Utah, was with Trump and fund raised off this stunt. He has since issued an apology. Why can't Trump or you for that matter admit that it is wrong to use that section of Arlington National Cemetery for campaigning?

At about 1:12 into this video, this father confirms that Biden and Harris were not invited.

The Cemetery made it clear before Trump showed up and when he arrived that pictures could not be taken in that section for campaign purposes. By what right does a Trump campaign official shove somebody else to have their way? Trump put up the political ad, not the families.

It doesn't matter if you or I have seen anyone charged with assault for a push, it is still assault. I am skeptical that the families invited Biden or Harris since one family said Harris was specifically not invited. I have stated repeatedly that there was no problem with the families inviting Trump. However, the families and Trump are expected to abide by Arlington National Cemetery rules, just like the rest of us.

Pushing somebody is assault. It has always been about not conducting political campaigns in Arlington National Cemetery. The efforts of you Magadonians has been to deflect.

I don't care if they interject themselves. They do not dictate Arlington National Cemetery policy. This whole kerfuffle shows why. They are basically saying that they don't care about the other Arlington National Cemetery families. They are taking offense to Harris's statement and she was not critical of the families. Also I'm not a Dem.

Did the families request that they all show up? How do you know that. How and when? At least 1 family said they specifically did not ask Harris to "show up". After some of these families spoke at the RNC, it doesn't seem right that they would invite Biden and Harris. It seems like some families of the 13 want there to be a spectacle. This is why individual families are not allowed to determine which Arlington National Cemetery rules to ignore.

I think a good conman can take advantage of the emotionally distraught.

Oh I thought it was bone headed for Harris to put anything out there. No matter how right she may be, that message will get buried by grieving families who are obviously coordinating with either the Trump campaign or political operatives close to it. Fact remains that Trump put out political ads from that visit and politics shouldn't be in National Cemeteries.

Biden did go to Dover as I recall.
