  1. Just another example of poor coaching decisions, switching to a defense you don't have the personnel to play.
  2. The Onion always falsely quotes people. This is no big deal, and really some of their worst work.
  3. I have found 15 to be a faster route than 81.
  4. If you take the I-81 route, in Harrisburg take I-81 across the river, get on 22-322 West and then get on US 15 N. That takes you up the east side of the river on a 4 lane highway. Rt 15 in Marysville (west side of the river) is 2 lane, 35 mph and painful. A few weeks ago when I went through there they were doing construction on the I-81 US-15 interchange so I'm not sure you can get onto 15 N anyway with the route you planned. You might be able to plan where you get fuel by using www.gasbuddy.com.
  5. No character from Friends deserves to be on that list. George Costanza should be on there. From sitcoms I'd put almost any regular character from Cheers ahead of anyone from Friends. John Locke is way to low on the list. I would have liked to have seen Benjamin Linus and Desmond Hume on there as well. I didn't much care for Mary Katherine Gallagher from SNL. I don't know if it would qualify but I'd put the Church Lady on there or Stuart Smalley instead. I'm surprised that not a single character from ER made it.
  6. While your costs go up by $250/month, that money is going back to you in the form of principal. That is money you are paying to yourself. If you can swing the 15 year, that is a far better way to go in my opinion.
  7. My mother was born and raised in Hawaii. She told me that the final scenes were filmed at her school, Sacred Hearts Academy. Pretty cool.
  8. The boat was fine and is still afloat. It was the mast that broke. That happens in high winds sometimes. Might not have happened if she planned her trip for a time with more favorable weather, but then she wouldn't have set the record for being the youngest.
  9. Stone carving lasts. They are just a bit inconvenient.
  10. Smokey took the form of MIB, Locke, Christian Shepherd, Richard's wife and, I believe, Eko's brother. Sometimes I wonder of some of the dead people Hurley saw were smokey. I also wonder if Kate's horse was smokey.
  11. Why in the world would any actor want to leave that show?
  12. Like what? Setting Lost aside, since that was in a category of its own, what excellent shows are there? Network TV has been to much into cutting costs, leaving us with the likes of Dancing With The Stars, American Idol, Big Brother and a host of other "reality" shows that tell no story at all. NBC put Leno on at 10 in part because his show was cheap to make compared with an ER, Hill Street Blues or Homicide. 24 is coming to an end. Heroes ended up being rudderless and fizzled. Flash Forward was a good concept but didn't catch on. What shows are you talking about?
  13. What, no love for Dancing With The Stars?
  14. Yeah it came across to me as Desmond was saying screw you after all the BS you've put me through. And while he wasn't taking Daniel it seemed like the reason was because Daniel wasn't ready, not as any kind of a favor to Eloise.
  15. I'm assuming he washed out. Seems like he came to in the same spot where MIB's body was found after he went into the light tube. How did Ben get out from under the tree?
  16. I always thought the purpose was to not fit into the uniform.
  17. Apologies to all the impressionist lovers out there but I have a few questions. 1. When did Boone have his epiphany? 2. Wasn't the ladder knocked over when Sawyer climbed down with FLocke? 3. How did the boat get back to the main island? Sawyer and company stole it. FLocke came back on an outrigger, right?
  18. Maybe it was just me but is was 2:15 of awesome but then 15 minutes of huh? That was it?
  19. These dudes are watching the whole thing, all episodes back to back. Can you imagine watching all these episodes and then falling asleep during the finale?
