In the days since the shooting, we have learned that the shooter was a registered Republican, he was into guns and was ostracized at school as a wierdo and a loser. I haven't seen anthing showing that he was a consumer of rhetoric as extreme as what you claim Kathy Griffin did. Things point more to him being a mentally disturbed person more along the lines of John Hinckley than a political assassin like John Wilkes Booth. You might be right. Nobody is denying that but you are forcing the situation to fit your preconceived notions without regard to the evidence that has surfaced to date and you show contempt for any countervailing opinion.

I think the other people are just saying you don't know the motivation of the sick loser killer. John Hinckley tried to kill Ronald Reagan to impress Jodie Foster. Would you have been guessing that as a motivation immediately after the shooting?

For an attention hound, the idea that travelling 4 hours to attempt an assassination of the sitting President, who according to the right wingers on this board barely leaves bed, makes more sense than travelling 1 hour to assassinate the former President, who is even more in the news, makes no sense.

Do you have any proof that he was a consumer of "violent rhetoric that comes from the left"? Again proof? Why couldn't any of this be proven in any of the court cases following the election?

Finally the corrupt Judge Cannon has made an appealable order. I expect her order to be appealed, overruled and for he to finally be removed from this case. She botched issues with the search warrant and equitable jurisdiction over the evidence and was overruled then. This is her third strike.

Trump was and is a threat to our republic.
