His brother's name, who taught us, is Doug but I can't remember if he had any other brothers or if Eric is Doug's son.

Sure will. Yes, I would have to agree. I did have some good tasting asparagus once at a nice restaurant. Not sure how they cooked it but it was edible. But, I still generally don't really like to eat it.
100% agree. They are the best tasting apples out there. I love most fruits but my favs are watermelon, nectarines, fresh pineapple, apples and grapes. Least favorite, mango. I think they taste like pitch.
